I was filling out my application for this rental property and unfortunately, I was requested to pay a $1,000 security deposit. It was also really difficult getting an appointment for a tour. I am disappointed that this community did not work out for me.
The units are nice enough but overpriced. Bad location with lots of homeless around. Management is a terrible mix of incompetent, unresponsive and neglectful. There are better places to live.
Communication with management is by far the worst I've had at any apartment, I've been trying to contact management for awhile now about an issue with my apartment and its been over a month and I haven't receieved a response -- highly recommend finding a different place.

After touring many apartments for my cross country solo move to Denver, 20th Street Station really jumped out to me as being the obvious choice. The apartments are beautiful, modern, and spacious. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. And the location can't be beat. Not to mention the views from the apartments and amenity spaces are stunning. I wanted a mountain view and this apartment gave me just that.

They will force you to pay monthly fees for delivery services that are laughable. They force residents to pay for Fetch to receive and deliver packages. Fetch CONSTANTLY does not deliver packages for days and WEEKS at a time. They'll damage items, break items, all with zero accountability. They simply do not give a rip about people living here.

Hours of amenities are awful, the leasing office is never open, rent is extremely high compared to other places, stupid fees that we cannot opt out of even though the services suck REALLY bad (Fetch and valet trash). Basically the only thing that's nice is that it's a new apartment.

Apartments are nice, but avoid renting here if you want to receive packages in a timely manner. The third party Fetch “service” they force all residents to us AND pay for is so disappointing.

I have only lived here a little bit over a week, but I really enjoy the apartment! The amenities within the unit are very nice and the appliances are the nicest ive ever had in an apartment! I feel safe here and management is normally pretty responsive if I need something! Granted, its only been a week, but its been a good one!

Prompt, courteous, and they deliver on their promises! I needed to get in my apartment fast they had me in my apartment the day that my application went through one day after I filled it out. I wasn't supposed to get a parking spot till January less than a week and they already got me in a parking spot. I was worried before I moved but parking on the street was not that bad and there is a garage behind if a parking spot takes longer. Maintenance came the day after I submitted my request. Everyone is so nice here. I can't wait to experience more with the amazing view from the pool and hot tub. Did I mention free coffee and we aren't just talking regular coffee.

I hate that I’m even leaving this review, but after 6 MONTHS of trying to resolve an issue, my husband and I are at a loss. The building itself is great, our unit is lovely, but the blatant disregard for our quality of life, comfort, and ease is something we can no longer ignore. In the unit directly above ours, there are two dogs that bark (read: yelp) for HOURS on end. We have several audio recordings that last for 2-3 hours at a time from varying days between April-October. We’ve sent maybe 10-15 emails in that period of time to the management, we’ve contacted the city, we’ve called the Alexan patrol, and literally to NO AVAIL, these dogs still continue to yelp and bark into the late hours of the night and in the early morning. Our quality of living is so low in this apartment because of the noise, it may result in us terminating our lease because it’s so unbearable. We’ve gotten sound machines, our AC runs constantly ($$$$), and it’s honestly exhausting trying to get anyone around here to actually solve a problem and care about the tenants that pay a ton of money to live here. So unless you want to live in a building that doesn’t care about your concerns, won’t resolve issues in a timely manner, and won’t uphold their end of the lease agreement with other tenants that states, “You, your occupants, and guests will show due consideration for others by not permitting, committing, or suffering any conduct, disorderly or otherwise, **noise**, vibration, odor, or other nuisance whatsoever having a tendency to ***annoy or disturb*** others and to use no machinery, device, or any other apparatus which would damage the premises or annoy others; ***and interfering with, disturbing, or threatening the rights, comfort, health, safety, convenience, quiet enjoyment***, management, and use of the community by us, other residents and occupants and any of their guests, agents, invitees, or the general public.” (copied DIRECTLY from the lease) then, please, don’t live here.

I like living at 20th Street Station. The community is safe and the building/amenities are clean. The residents are courteous and kind. The management is always helpful. The apartment's location to downtown Denver makes it a great place to live.

If you like structure, organization and approachable personnel from your leasing office, this is not the place for you. Great building and amenities however. Nice location, other than the large homeless community outside the building.

The build quality is TERRIBLE. This is a big problem that will never be fixed. You will have to tip toe around your apartment to avoid noise complaints from your neighbors. All floors above the 5th aren't built on concrete. It must have been cheaper/lighter to not do so. You'll notice walking down the hallways that your footsteps echo and it almost feels hollow underneath. These walls and floors are so thin you will hear your upstairs neighbors' every footstep. Their dog's footsteps as well! Pray your neighbor's dogs aren't barkers. My upstairs and next door neighbors' dogs are barkers. It's miserable. Another treat on these warm summer days you will be greeted with at the front-door, is the wonderful smell of dog urine! You'll have to hold your breath just walking into the building. They have closed down all public amenities, yet you still are paying for them. Every month includes "Utility Electricity" which is about half the price of the electricity you already pay for in your apartment. What possibly could this "Utility Electricity" be? For the amount you pay in garbage each month, you should be able to dispose of nuclear waste. My advice? If you have the money and are looking for a nice apartment in the city, this isn't it. There are so many new luxury apartments in the city; any of them have to be better than Alexan 20th Street Station.
