Wonderful What a great experience! The manger was will informed and was so excited about the apartments! The apartment only hit 2 things on my wish list but I loved the feeling of the building so I applied for a apartment!

Awesome Service! The property manager was really relational. The facility and the place itself was really good!

Great place to live Comfortable apartments. Especially liked having laundry in the apartment and underground parking.

Zen Chaska Lived on 4th floor for 2 years in a 2 bedroom. Location is very convenient to shopping, community center, bike trails or just walking the neighborhood. Building is old so it has its issues. Went thru at least 4 maintenance people. The current one, Brian, is outstanding. Can’t say enough good things about him. He is very knowledgeable, he responds to issues quickly, he is focused on solutions and fixing problems. He is polite and zen is lucky to have him!

Love it! I have waited three years for a different dishwasher. I had one of the original dishwashers so it was pretty old, rusting and at any time you could find a screw or two on the floor. Brian came in to replace it, did a fast efficient job, cleaned up after he was finished and I was back in business within 30 minutes. I couldn’t be happier.

Horrible place to live but cheap You get nothing, you are just a rent check, you do not matter, your safety does not matter, front door has been unlocked for weeks because the security broke and they won’t fix it, roof leaks are common, won’t repair the water softener, if your aging ac goes out they won’t fix it, just excuse after excuse. Don’t forget the annual flooding of the garage, if your in the Lower end you can’t park there and the elevator goes down along with hot water heater

I love it here but… Maybe this is how all apartment complexes are run but I really hope not. Or in the future maybe Zen can be the good example. We just lost another facility leader. I have been here 4 1/2 years and love my apartment, but I think this puts us at about eight new people in that position in the time I’ve been here. Some of them were not meant to be here in the first place, but I am specifically talking about losing Diane. It seems some of the rules that position are archaic and certainly not how business is being run now. These people when, they are here, are given absolutely no responsibility to make decisions when they are among us 24/7. They certainly have a better understanding of day-to-day life here in the building than the people who come here and walk around a few. times a year. Especially in Diane‘s case because she was able to hit the ground running, easily learned the Zen computer system and made decisions based on facts and seeing a need instead of $ signs. I don’t have an accurate percentage of empty apartments, but I do see people moving out and seldom see people moving in. We will be at a great disadvantage without having Diane here. We also have someone new in maintenance. This is probably the eighth person we’ve had in that position as well. Now, we have Brian. He is very competent, professional, and also personable. If we lose him it will be a deficit for us. I know there have been varied reasons why that position has to keep being filled, but if part of the reason is because of not providing a living wage for the amount of work one person does to take care of all their responsibilities is also sad. How many levels of bureaucracy are there before you get to the building level of management? Basically, at the building level the only responsibility they have 100% of their day is to listen to complaints and figure out a new way to say their requests have been denied because there’s no money. I understand this sounds negative but again, I love my apartment and I have made some good friends here in the last 4 1/2 years but these are questions I struggle with. Can’t some of these questions be looked at in depth to see if there’s a way in 2025 that normal operations and procedures can be looked at? Why can’t we be the example and the exception in apartment living?

EXCELLENT I am so happy! Brian is the best we’ve had in years. Very professional, great attitude and and didn’t quit until he knew everything was perfect .

Do you love to smoke every 20 min? Hate going out in the cold? Well this is the perfect place for you. Kick back in your recliner and enjoy smoking a full pack right in your living room with zero consequences. Complaints do absolutely nothing. They just tell you they can’t do anything. Plan on ordering a package? Good luck getting it. Chances are it’s stolen before you even get notified of the delivery. This has been bad for the last few years. Plan on parking in the garage in the spring/summer? Forget it. Annual flooding of the garage every year and we can’t park there. Water and sand coming up through all the support pillars. Constant water leaks from pipes in the garage. Water shut offs are very common. No water softener. New manager and maintenance every month or two and good luck dealing with them. They just want your rent money. Altercations have happened with residents with zero consequences, like the last reviewer mentioned. Some of the elderly are scared to leave their unit once the office closes because of certain residents. Alarm system for the building is always broke. Elevator is down all the time. I will say that I like my unit, but that’s where it ends. I’ve been here 7 years and it’s gone so far downhill so fast. Upkeep of the building is non existent, just like the rules here.

Wall repair The contractor that came in to do the repair was extremely professional worked very quickly but thoroughly and I would not mind having that person do any further work that’s needed.

I love my apartment and the location of Zen it’s very convenient. I’m disappointed in how it’s not kept up. Maintenance people and managers leave because over worked. Flooding in garage for months, not able to park! Elevator on one side of building floods, doesn’t work for months. It was a beautiful place, still has so much potential! Just has let things go. I’m hoping that some money will be spent to make it great again.

We enjoy living here. The building is kept clean and attractive.

Louis came and fixed the issue, was courteous and got the job done! I appreciated him coming in a very timely matter.

Don’t believe this is a 55+. Every new resident is in their 20s. Pet friendly means pee on floors and barking day and night. No amenities. They lie about utilities. You will pay all of them. They pay nothing. Garage floods and unusable for months each spring. No snow this year so ok. Garage door won’t open. Elevators have issues. Unsafe as doors remain open for weeks at a time. Manager won’t allow cameras in entry or mailroom. Anyone can enter and camp out. Packages are stolen. One guy has at least 7 vehicles.

Have lived here 2 years & we are on the 4th manager and she is part-time. The ones we've had seem to want to do good, but with so much confusion it just ends up with nothing being done. Garage is dirty, public areas cleaning is lacking. AC, furnaces, elevators are old & break down. Windows/doors leak. Snow removal awful. At times older or handicapped residents have shoveled the steps, ramp, sidewalk. 80% 55+ but 20% just need to be 18. Not a true senior living bldg. Bldg not very secure. Love the friends we've made here and the location is great. Trinity (owners)could do much better by the elderly residents.

nagement is a big problem here. I have Been through 3 managers in 5 months and this one is temporary. The staff don’t know anything and just make it up as they go along. They are very nice and seem to really try to help to the best of their ability but end result is negative. Very, I mean, extremely poor process and communication. I have lowered my, as of today, expectations that anything will be taken care of by management. The garage is filthy and there is a problem getting in and out sometimes. It’s hard to maneuver with a car entering and another exiting. They say they remodeled but that’s just some nice vinyl wood like floors in the bath and kitchen and new kitchen appliances and painted over cabinets. Newer carpet in the rest of the apartment. Windows are old and very dirty. When I moved in the inside was super clean but they didn’t paint the entire apartment or fix holes in the walls, my bathroom door won’t shut and I was told they don’t know how to fix that. The dryer vent leaks in the apartment and fogs up the windows. Walls are thin and hallways are noisy, but not all the time. Very nice people live here. They have 9:30 am coffee gathering, bingo and an exercise class. The common areas are nicely decorated and a great place to gather for some reading, conversation or group puzzles. They allow pets. The dog people are very respectful and responsible and there is a small doggie park. Location is amazing. Lots of places to walk to and the town in general is very friendly with lots of local activities.

Jordan, Caylee and Cliff have been extremely kind during my stay at Zen Chaska. During our stay they have gone above and beyond to make sure that we are comfortable here. They are very kind towards our animal, especially during the completion of work orders. I am so thankful, I chose to live at Zen Chaska during our house fire. I will be very sad to go once our lease is up.

The staff goes out of their remembering people's name and hoobs you get the sense they really care. This apartment has totally turned with the new manager the interior and exterior are just beautiful. Our manager took her own time to put together Easter baskets for every resident it warns my heart because we truly are you a community here

I love our location, friendly neighbors & the building is absolutely beautiful! I would recommend Zen to anyone looking for their new home.

The updates to building are okay, but too much money was spent. Me and my wife feel bad for Katie(manager)and Shawn (maintenance). They seem to be trying to do their best with keeping up with residents needs and maintenance repairs, but they have a big mess left from previous owners. I wish the 3rd floor common hallway air conditioner could be repaired faster. very hot upstairs. overall we are happy & sure once air conditioner fixed and updates totally done, will be good.

I love our location & my apartment is perfect for me. The new remodeling of the building is beautiful and the new management is wonderful. Katie our manager is just so friendly and cares for us. Shawn the repair man is helpful and sweet. I'm happy here.

We love the location! The Residents here are awesome & fun! But my kitchen sink is too small! Katie is a delight!

Lovely Place Designed For a Calming Atmosphere! We were not really thrilled that $50 for cable added on rent, but that's our only complaint. Katie Our Manager is Great and very helpful! Sean our Maintenance is Awesome at Fixing Anything that needs it and is very friendly! We Love it here!

Living here at Zen is great. It's comfortable. Spacious apartment. It's home.

It si a very nice place to live. Katie does a nice job.

I like living here and one of the reasons is i like the idea of living close to downtown and the park. The other residents that live here are very friendly and nice to talk to. And my apartment is nice and spacious.

The property manager (Katie) and maintenance man (Shawn) are wonderful and so on top of everything. They were very welcoming and went over and beyond anywhere else I have ever lived to make me feel at home; I even got a cute welcome basket when I moved in. The remodel looks so good, and is very serene. Zen is a dog friendly community and the added dog park is a huge bonus. Zen really has a wonderful sense of community.

Our neighbors here are wonderful! Also it's a beautiful place, clean. Management is wonderful. Maggie Love's Katie & Sean is very helpful.

In house housekeeping is not doing a very good job. They need to clean trash rooms & windows aren't being cleaned. Why did they get all real plants?! Too much to take care of! But I love my manager Katie. She's very sweet and always helps me.

I think they spent a lot of money on renovations that was unnecessary. & I don't want my rent to go up, because of it... I am on a fixed income. I am happy here, don't want to be forced out because of Rent Amounts. I do like my manager Katie & Sean our Maintenance guy.

I think that the new updates make the place more modern. One of the few complaints that I do have, is that I work night shift and because of the updates, I have struggled with sleeping during the day. I moved to this building originally because it was quiet so that I would be able to sleep for night shift. Katie has been nice to work with and I think that the team has done the best that they can cleaning up from our previous owners. Sometimes it feels a little unorganized, however she is very approachable and able to answer our questions. I am a little disappointed about utilities not being covered, as that was one of the incentives of moving here with the previous owners. I do appreciate that maintenance has been pretty on top of their requests however, there have been a few instances where they came into the apartment when we did not have a work request and actually came into my bedroom when I was sleeping for a night shift when the request was for the bathroom. Im not sure if it was because they were new or if they didn't see that the bathroom door was open when the request was for a toilet. Overall though I am happy to renew my lease.

Wonderful area, beautiful apartment and the new management staff is friendly & helpful. We have lived here for about 9 years and love it!
