The maintenance service and manager is amazing! Top notch
Trax at DuPont Station is a great place to live. Its very quite and convenient to work. The grounds are kept up and the area is secure. They respond and follow up to any concerns you may have. Great place to live.
Close to JBLM, clean premises, mostly military tenants, quick maintenance response.
Except for the few issues noted we're enjoying our living experience in the apartment and location
I would say Trax is a fair place to be. This is a great first apartment for roommates and couples. Communication with front office is fair until theres issues between resident to resident. It feels like they just sit in the middle and wait for it to blow over. I feel they need to be more involved with situations like that and try to solve and end situation then let blow over. Maintenance is fair as well. They do get the work thats needs to be done done. But, when its a non emergency maintenance it feels like it isnt important or on top of there list to get done right away. There were a few times when it took them almost a week to stop by and fix our problem. And I personally dont like the amount of animals they allow at Trax and the deposit for them. Its to much money and isnt fair to people that have more than 2 animals. And the list of animals that are not allowed at Trax. A couple on the list is reasonable but majority of the list is ridiculous. The list pretty much says that only small dogs are allowed here and medium and large dogs r not allowed. Also the trash, they make it to where they pick up trash at night between certain times. And sometimes they dont even do it the time they r suppose to do it. Then usually dont show up until like midnight or 1 or 2 in the morning. Also the fact they make all residents that want there trash taken by them u have to have ur bin with it as well. And for awhile people werent using any bins to take out trash and then randomly they sent emails out saying they will give fines to people who dont leave trash in bin when taking out. Dumb.
Trax is an overrated, expensive place to live, if you can get past the unnecessary charges for the whole building splitting the bill for everyones utilities, and being charged for everyones trash and trash to be taken out, it may be a nice place to live if you work on base.

• sounds like a boarding kennel with all the dogs barking while the owners are gone. If you wanna sleep in or work nights you’re screwed. • maintenance is laughable... you’re better off fixing it yourself. • lets be honest you’re paying for the location. • the hallways are never clean and smell. • overpriced garage space. • management doesn’t return calls • closest grocery store is roughly 20 min away. • on the bright side there’s plenty of parking
Elevator smells like animal urine. There is incessant noise pollution from the pool with people screaming until 2:00am. Nearly injured myself due to negligence, and called for the error to be corrected, they just yelled at me. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs.
My husband and I lived at Trax for a year. We recently moved as he was done with the military, and my job was located by Seattle. I loved our town home and miss it terribly. Sherri (office staff) was always amazing. She never missed a chance to say hi and really made us feel at home. She had just started at the time we moved in, and she was always so helpful. Melanie (manager) was great to us. A lot of people usually complain of unnecessary charges upon move out, and we were worried about it as well, but that wasn't the case at this complex. They really do try to do what they can for you. Of course they can't always make everything work in your favor, but we understand that, and of course they have policies just like everyone else. They were so amazing to us, and we were really sad upon our last day there. The front staff are so dog friendly and love to give them treats and attention when you stop by the office. I can't say enough good things about this complex. The maintenance staff were always responsive in a timely manner and always greeted you if they saw you outside. The landscaping was always kept very nice, and that was my favorite part! They take care of the community, and I loved that. The location was great. We lived right in front of Super Buffet, and I assume people complain about street noise, but realistically, you know what you're getting yourself into when you look at the complex. It's in a great location, but if you are kept up all night by small, subtle noises, then you probably shouldn't move to a small city feel area. My only complaint is I wish they had fitness center. That would be a great add-on for the future. However, I joined Anytime Fitness and rarely even went, so I can't complain much.
TRAX is a home to come home to in many respects. The apartment layouts are varied so you can choose which best suits your needs. The management are extremely accommodating so they will be willing to work with you as your circumstances change. The office is always full of residents - past, future, and current - stopping by to say hi, grab a hug or quick cup of coffee, sharing their most recent life news, and more. I never hear gossip, but consistently perceive a deep feeling of family and friendship - perfect for military and transitional employment options for singles, couples, and families. I was a resident of TRAX for a year, life took me elsewhere, and I plan to return ASAP. I was here with prior management, during transitions of staff, and throughout a series of personal transitions. Maintenance and office staff alike consistently have your back - whether it's paint that needs to be touched up, carpet that needs to be re-stretched, equipment that needs to be serviced, drips by a gutter, blowing the cement of the parking lot... it always gets done to the greatest extent possible - more than the average apartment complex. Negativity consistently changes toward positivity. The location is superb. The General Store is right across the street. The pharmacy, library, 2 banks, multiple restaurants of varying ethnic food options, two coffee shop options, a gas station, fast food joints, Verizon (most recently) and more are literally right down the street - quick, easy, and efficient. It's smack-dab between two exits - both supremely easy to navigate on and off. All this to say: home, family, and community who consistently "have your back" -- all in one place.

I haven't been here for long but I really like the place. The neighborhood is really safe, also, the buildings are very secure. The pool is very clean and the people in the office are very nice and helpful. The apartments themselves are very nice. My bathroom and kitchen both have lamenent floors that look like real hard wood floors. They also allow pets.
From day one I have been impressed with Trax. Friendly staff, nice neighbors, what more could a person ask for.
What we like: no smoking in any apartment or hallways, bright windows, decent price, new and clean, pool is nice. Hallways are bright and clean. Security code to get in. What we don't like: kitchen cabinets are pretty useless (other storage out of kitchen is good), noise from highway. Mary was super helpful; others, not so much. I love that you can walk to several decent restaurants. This place suits our needs.
