Property Ratings at Woodland Place Apartments
Stairwell was disgusting, was not cleaned or vacuumed one time in the year that I spent there. The stench was horrendous, it was a mix of and the entry to the building was busted every other week due to poor and cheap repairs. Prices are awful considering how small the apartments are and the lack of upkeep on the property. This is bottom of the barrel when it comes to apartment complex's.

If you are looking for a nice inexpensive apartment. This is a good one. I've been here a month so far, and it has been great. I spoke to Alexandria, who had me set up in my new place the same day that I toured.

I absolutely love living in Woodland Place. I'm not going to lie, with such a low price I was not expecting much. However, I am very pleasantly surprised! First, the application and signing process is by far the easiest in Midland. It is ideal for someone who may be trying to sign without actually being in the area. The ladies in the office are awesome. They are super friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I was also very pleasantly surprised when I saw my apartment. I live in a one bedroom and it is small and the kitchen is older. However, it is in excellent shape and I have brand new floors and carpet. The place was SPOTLESS when I moved in. One thing I was very surprised about is how safe I feel living here. Previously I lived in Northwind Forest which is right next to Woodland Place but much more expensive. I always felt unsafe there. My neighbors were sketchy, there were always people just wondering, and it stunk of weed all the time. With Woodland being even less expensive I expected it to be even worse. But I was SO wrong. My neighbors are very nice and respectful, there is security/maintenance driving around constantly, people actually pick up their dog poop, and it is generally pretty quiet. Long story short, I am VERY happy I moved here.

I really dont recomend this apartments to anyone. Theres a lot of bugs, maintenance dont even go to your apartment when you ask for and when they feel like going they would OPEN YOUR DOOR without knocking! And much more. Please dont fall for this apartments.
I have lived here for a couple years and I feel safe and comfortable here. I have children and they have a cute tot lot for them to play. The office staff is friendly and helpful the maint staff is awsome at keeping appts and doing my work in a timely manor.so all in all i would say woodland is a safe affordable nice place to live.
Woodland is a great place to live. The staff is very friendly and always helpful, maintenance fixes things in a timely manor, the apartments are nicely kept and not to mention affordable. The pool and surrounding amenities are great! Woodland is located close to everything you need in Midland including Northwood University.

Maintenance is good to work with, they get things done in a timely manner and let you know if it takes any longer. I enjoyed my time here while I had my lease but chose to live elsewhere when it was over just for something bigger. For the price it is good, if you are looking for something affordable and for the price the apartments are not bad. They had everything I needed. The office works well with you, I was confused about a lot and they had no problem going over things with me and helping me understand. Overall, I say for the price its a good place to live.
You definitely get what you pay for. Pros: Location, Size, cleanliness, price. Cons: Rude faculty, constant construction, loud neighborhood. I would recommend to college students and single people!
Lots of recent break ins. Poorly put together apartments, not worth the money each month.
The cheapest in town, so obviously not the best around, but they hold their own.
