Property Ratings at Woodbury Gardens Apartments & Townhomes
Had problem with leaky pipes and complained multiple times over 5 years. They always did the minimum repairs for a temporary fix. Would not recommend for anyone. Just another greedy landlord.
I have lived in Woodbury Gardens for around 3 months now and it has been nothing but the best experience! My partner and I live in an upgraded 2 bed 1 bath and it's very nice and spacious. No floor creaking and good sound insulation between apartments. Amazing bang for our buck, honestly we have every in-unit and neighborhood amenity we could ever need - check out their website for the insane list of amenities. I use the pool and massage chairs and free coffee all the time. Their Instagram page is cute and the staff is so nice. I wish I would have known about this place at the start of my Ann Arbor apartment search. They have a private shuttle, but the Bus stop is reliable and gets you to campus in 10 minutes. Would recommend this place a thousand times over, especially for young couples or professionals working/studying at U of M!
This is a nice place to live especially as a graduate student seeking a quiet place away from undergraduates. The facilities are nice and taken care of, the location is convenient and easy to get to campus. Overall it’s been a nice place to live so far
Woodbury has been home to me for two years now, and it has been a wonderful experience. The neighborhood and community has a lot of green space, a nice clubhouse with wifi and a small gym, and a pool with plenty of seating. The best part about Woodbury, though, is its responsive management. Maintenance requests for a clogged sink, dirty furnace filter, and burnt-out light bulbs were all addressed within hours. I cannot recommend highly enough!
Woodbury Gardens is a great place to live! The leasing office was extremely easy to deal with and they offer a short term lease. Apartments are nice and the neighborhood is safe. The leasing office clubhouse is super nice and the perfect space to relax, study, or hangout with others in the neighborhood! Highly recommend Woodbury Gardens for anyone living in Ann Arbor. When I eventually arrived in Ann arbor I felt myself so lucky that I have chosen Woodbury Garden to be my home. The environment is so great, just match its name, a garden surrounded by trees and flowers. I also love the clubhouse here, with excellent free breakfast and great space for people to communicate with their neighbors. I am really looking forward to new surprise it will bring me.
Review of 1210 Astor Ave by CHASE! We are two grad school students from out of state. We absolutely love Ann Arbor and woodbury gardens is a beautiful place. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything necessary for a great home environment. The surrounding area is safe and clean with friendly neighbors. The clubhouse is spectacular with WiFi, a gym, TVs, and games. The staff are absolutely wonderful and helpful in answering questions.
I have lived here for almost 3 months now, and can say it's by far the best community I've ever lived. It's located in a great place - 2 minute drive to the Big House, 5 minute drive to Main Street - and yet still feels very secluded and private. The office staff is extremely friendly and clubhouse amenities are unbeatable. I love using the Peloton bikes! Chuck and Jeff are some of the nicest guys I've ever met at the office. Maintenance is always pretty quick to act if you put in a request. They are even proactive about certain things and will let you know in advance if they need to do service work. The online and app portals are also great and easy to use if you need to put in service requests or participate in a community forum. 5/5 stars easy!
We've been in Woodbury Gardens for less than a year, we definitely plan to extend our lease. Staff is great, location is conveniently close to everything. Nice amenities, good club house and lovely pool. The park and the nature around our house is awesome too. We highly recommend it.
Woodbury Gardens is in an ideal location in central Ann Arbor. We are within walking distance to coffee shops, a grocery store, multiple parks, etc. The staff is friendly and matinence responds immediately if needed. Free breakfast, a free shuttle to downtown, and monthly events with food are all included for community members. The newly renovated fitness center is beautiful and includes Peloton bikes. The apartments themselves come with tons of closets and additional storage space. Overall, it is a friendly, convenient, diverse, and pleasant place to live. We couldn’t recommend it more!
I live here now, I use the shuttle they provided to get to school and get free breakfast most mornings. I really like it here it’s overal a very nice place

We found Woodbury Gardens more than a year ago and couldn’t be happier! Our experience from the beginning has been nothing but pleasant. We were given the exact apartment we requested. Everything was completed on time, exceeding all our expectations. The gym is phenomenal with everything we need (including peloton bikes!!) There are many options for easy transportation to campus, the hospital, and downtown. The location is comapreable to none!
I recomend Woodbury because of the following reasons: 1. It is close to downtown (aprox 25 minutes walking). 2. Good facilities available. Ex: shuttle to the U of M, breakfast, swimming pool and gym 3. Improvements are done very often in the public spaces . 4. Good events agenda to make friends and meet the neighbors. Ex: halloween party and tailgates.

The maintenance staff does their best regarding snow removal of the private parking lots and the side walks on the property. Unfortunately, the snow removal of the streets; Astor Ave, Woodbury Dr, and Wisteria Dr falls on the responsibility of the City of Ann Arbor. Our rental rates are competitive with the other apartment communities in the area and we strive to provide the best customer service possible to make our residents feel at home. Please do not hesitate to bring items to the attention of Management so that it may be addressed in a timely manner. If there is any way in which we could improve your stay with Woodbury Gardens please let us know.
We have lived in Woodbury Gardens Apartments for over a year now. We chose these apartments originally for the location and the price. We can turn left out of our parking lot and go downtown or we can turn right and go for a quiet drive. Along with that, we have had great experiences with the people here. Everyone, from the staff to the other residents, is always welcoming and helpful. This is a great place to live in Ann Arbor.
I have been living at Woodbury Gardens for almost the last 3 years now since August 2014 and I am very happy with the complex. Location: The location is ideal for someone who wants proximity to downtown Ann Arbor without the noise and the thousands of undergraduate students in central Ann Arbor. We have a grocery store next door which is perfect. The complex is also close to Briarwood mall as well as Trader Joe's and Roos Roast Coffee for the coffee lovers. All are a short drive away or a nice walk, especially in the spring/summer. Amenities: We have a clubhouse with nice areas to do work (including private office rooms that can be booked in advance), a gym and a pool. The office staff is friendly and helpful and maintenance very prompt with anything that needs fixing (within 24 hrs if not less). Every unit has a washer and a dryer so forget about the coin era and/or the laundry mat. Safety: Incidents can happen anywhere but so far, I have felt safe in this neighborhood. More lighting in the complex would definitely be a plus but overall this is a great place to live!

I've lived at Woodbury for 2 years this June. I plan to live here for another 2 years while I live in Ann Arbor for school. I live in one of the 3 bedroom townhouses and absolutely love it. Yes, it could be more updated but the townhouse is so spacious and has everything I need. I know there are now options to move into one of the more updated townhouses which is why I still gave it 5 stars. The emergency staff here are fabulous! Anytime something has gone wrong or broken, they are always so fast to get something fixed. Our place has had a fair share of things that needed to be fixed too and it always seems to get done within 24 hours or faster! The club house is beautiful and the amenities are great. I feel so safe walking my dog around Woodbury too since there seems to always be children or other people out walking their dogs as well. The convenience factor is another aspect I love. Being so close to the stadium, grocery stores, the mall, high ways, and downtown Ann Arbor I have never felt too far away from everything.
This is a great community for all. They offer monthly events, concierge services, a fitness center and breakfast. I have the greatest neighbors and the community is pet friendly!!! It's close to school and downtown, making it easy to get around by shuttle, bus, car biking or walking. It's quiet and beautiful. Just stop in and talk to the leasing staff and concierge, that are the nicest!
