Boyds-Leslie Park is a small neighborhood between Montgomery Boulevard and Katson Avenue North East. Most of the neighborhood is residential with affordable apartments for rent in a variety of styles. Although there isn’t much opportunity for shopping and dining in Boyds-Leslie Park, the neighborhood sits a few minutes west of Albuquerque’s commercial district, so residents have access to just about anything they could want or need. Places like Montgomery Plaza, an amusement park, countless restaurants serving almost every cuisine, department stores, a movie theater, and more are located in this area. For a break from retail, residents journey immediately north of town to enjoy Arroyo del Oso Park, a golf course, and hiking trails.

Property Ratings at Woodberry Heights
I’ve lived here almost 10 years. At first everything was good, the units are a really good size and have a nice layout. Maintenance is pretty responsive. Things have gone downhill over the last few years. They use to have security patrols at night, but they never did much. There are always homeless digging through the trash. They set the large item pickup area on fire. Twice my vehicle was broken into. There was a literal shoot out in one of the apartments. Overall I’ve enjoyed living here but I just don’t feel safe anymore.

I have lived here for about 5 years, and I enjoy it. I like that we are gated in, and a key is required. I feel mostly safe here, other than the usual ABQ crap. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very pretty property, awesome pool, pet friendly. Happy to be here. 239

I am currently in a dispute with this apartment complex. I've been living here for almost 2 years and switched apartments. I was charged $516.40 for a carpet replacement that was unwarranted. I have been provided no proof of the inspection or paperwork. Even the paperwork says the remaining life of the carpet was 40 months. I do not appreciate being unfairly charged. I was told the carpet would last 5 years and was installed in 2017, which means I barely did anything to the carpet since it had 40 months remaining.

OMG... moving from Florida to New Mexico, apartment searches can be taxing and frustrating!! So when we finally found Woodberry and Julie at Woodberry they were Soooo helpful we stopped looking anywhere else..Thank you Julie for all your help... see you soon when we move in...Jim Tampa Florida
