Just eight miles from Boston is Wollaston, Massachusetts, a city right off of Quincy Bay. There’s plenty of public transportation in town between the bus routes and subway stations. The town of Wollaston has other great conveniences, such as its public schools, large parks, and array of dining options.

Wollaston School and Central Middle School both lie within Wollaston’s city limits. A little closer to the bay you’ll find Eastern Nazarene College, a private university that is just six minutes from Boston. Merrymount Park is 80 acres of community space with its own amphitheater, sports stadium, ball fields, and boathouse. Surrounded on the east side by Blacks Creek, Merrymount Park is a great place to take in Wollaston’s scenic views.
