Amazing

It has been a pleasant experience living on this property. The school district is excellent, and the neighborhood is quiet and well kept. The landscaping is beautiful. The maintenance staff has improved tremendously since I first arrived. Alonzo has been a great addition to the team always friendly, helpful, and well prepared for any situation or emergency that may arise. Thank you!

Great Maintenance Service - Lonzo Goes Above and Beyond

Lonzo has been fantastic with maintenance at Wind Dance Apartments. He's helped me with several issues, most notably, my AC unit and a dishwasher leak. What sets him apart is how thorough he is - he takes time to explain what was wrong and answer any questions I have. Great communication and technical skills make him a real asset to this community.

Great property & staff

From day 1 I’ve had nothing but a positive experience at these apartments. If there ever was any type of maintenance issue, Alonzo always makes sure to rectify the issue very fast & efficiently.

2 Months of Issues

I’ve been living here for a bit longer than problems. Day 1, the place has clearly not been cleaned properly. Mysterious red sauce stuck on the sides of the oven, the carpet is frayed at the edges, AC doesn’t work, holes in the paint, paint stains on the flooring, etc. I brought these issues up a week before I actually moved in, and not a single one of these issues were solved. It took 3 different tickets for the AC to be finally fixed, and it wasn’t even fixed by a maintenance worker from this location, it took a worker from a different location to finally see that the AC unit wasn’t properly wired before it finally got solved. The AC issue is really a great example of how things get done here. It will take multiple tickets, multiple trips to the leasing office, and days of workers coming in and out of your unit before any issue gets resolved. I wish this was an over exaggeration, but you can look at many of the reviews for this location as well as the other locations owned by their parent company, LUMA Residential, to see this is a continued trend. The most recent issue to plague my stay here is a water leak that started early in the day, and turned into a full flood of my unit. I have spoke to 10 licensed plumbers in the DFW area that all say the way that this was handled was absolutely not how one deals with this kind of work in someone apartment. Stay away from this place and any place owned by LUMA Residential/Corp. You will be frustrated and exhausted from the constant battle for people to treat you fairly. I regret it everyday that I signed a lease here. Please, I am begging you, do not lease here or at any other property affiliated with LUMA. Please.

Wow, Really ???

The complex is located in a wonderful neighborhood. The property is very well maintained, and the apartment itself is beautiful. I have noticed that many leasing agents and assistant managers tend to be condescending. Not at Wind Dance. The office staff maintained a high level of professionalism yet treated us like human beings. They are all knowledgeable, helpful and respectful. I would recommend Wind Dance to anyone. !!

Horrible

Horrible management and rude, arrogant manager. They donot respect your priorities of maintenance. Neighbors are filthy and non co operative, dogs peeing in your patio, outside your door and your passage way of your entrance, it stinks crazy of urine, this place lacks discipline and hygiene.

Prices may be appealing but don’t fall for it

Don’t sign a lease here. Save your time and hard earned money. Trash in parking lots and landscaping, residents smoking when this community is supposed to be smoke-free. Good luck finding any parking when you come home from work. Management too worried on the wrong things instead of fixing the actual problems. Look elsewhere or else LOL

I loved it

The Apartments were very nice. I liked the size of the bedrooms and kitchen area but the professionalism that Taisha Lee displayed while showing the rooms hands down stood out the most to me and my family

Peaceful and friendly community

I lived there for 6 years. I enjoyed the peaceful and friendly neighbors. Office maintenance requests were addressed within the same day. Thank you for a great experience. Moved out because I had to move out of town, or I would be still living there.

Communication is HORRIBLE

PROSPECTIVE RESIDENT: My wife and I initially had a great first visit/tour at Wind Dance Apartments. Everything after that was horrible. I have never written a review before this and I never thought I would until this place. We put in an application for an apartment and paid by money order on 6/28. We were told before we left that we would hear something within 48 hours regarding the application. On 7/02 we still hadn't heard anything back and decided to call to see if there was any updates on our application. Melissa is who answered and she said that we need to give our apartment a notice before they would release our rental history. (Note: Nobody called us to let us know that further action was required and we never received a single phone call from Wind Dance Apartments during this whole process. My wife and I had to continue to call.) I gave my apartment notice on 07/02 and our current apartment manager contacted Wind Dance on 7/05 to give them our rental history. By 7/09 we STILL had not had a single phone call from the apartment complex and I gave up and had my wife call. She once again spoke to Melissa who now informed us that we randomly owed $50 and that we paid our fees online. (Even though we paid in person by money order the exact amount we were told the same day of our visit.) At this point we no longer wanted to live here. I told my wife to just ask for a refund so we wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. Suddenly our $50 was "waived" by the manager who never contacted us once regarding this horrible lack of communication. After that Melissa told my wife that we were approved, but after how we were treated we no longer wanted to live at Wind Dance Apartments. The only reason I have not contacted corporate regarding these issues is because they agreed to offer a full refund. We are now being told that we will receive our refund in 10 days. Hopefully Wind Dance Apartments will actually keep their word this time if not I'll have no problem going up the chain of command. For any future prospective residents I hope you have better luck with Wind Dance Apartments. Devin and the lady across from him are the only good people there.

Best apartment complex I've stayed in yet, real nice and quiet. Friendly neighbors, always greeting everyone. Multiply parking spaces and a clean neighborhood.
