Property Ratings at Willowbend
Broken in cars, bad maintenance, no hot water or pressure, cars on bricks, horrible gyms and they lie about how they will pay out commissions to people.
THE APARTMENTS ARE AMAZING they have very spacious rooms and are pretty up good for its price and matainence is quick to respond to requests. THE ISSUES START EVERYWHERE ELSE. Management changes repeatedly and it is a big issue when it comes to paying rent cuz the system changes alot. YOUR CAR WILL GET BROKEN INTO NO MATTER WHAT and security is there doing nothing just being paid to look pretty (they added cameras for this but still keep having this issues)and to tow cars that had no reason to be towed. Lastly they are not clean when it comes to the stairs or walkways of the outside of the apartments (there are hand prints and trash sometimes all through the apartment buldings outside). So to refrase everything MOVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
From the new office staff and the maintenance guys Willowbend is on its way back to top. Thanks to Ms.Pickens and her team. The family and I love the new changes.

Always changing management, my car was broken into twice while parked right outside my window, I went into the office they acted as if they have no knowledge of anything that’s been happening. Couldn’t show the security footage. She basically “it’s on you, that’s why we have car insurance” , their security doesn’t even patrol, trash is always over filled & just look nasty, people snatching your doordash or packages , the pool is always closed due to the kids in the neighborhood

Excellent service by Mr. Jorge during these difficult and stressful days of winter. Thank you Mr. Jorge For your help. If you need a place to live you should rent here. They take care of you like family.
1st day I moved in had no hot water, called for maintenance for 2 days and they never showed. Finally used Google to fix it myself. And when I called to tell them They questioned me like I did something wrong! They had never flipped water heater switch on. Then toilet wouldn't flush, took 2 days for that to be fixed. Now as I'm writing this my kitchen so k is leaking , I called so particle board wouldn't get ruined underneath, there suggestion, don't use the sink! They said it would be maintenance's choice weather or not to come fix it or when! This place is unbelievable! Really love the location and the apartment itself but management is very poor!! Will not be renewing!
Apartments are beautiful and in a fantastic location, but the management is a big issue. Look out for Christopher. If he's in the office, ask to speak to someone else, or your issue will go involved. During the 8 months I was leasing there, I had to ask to have my name put on the gate code machine about 6 times. I had to submit a service request 3 separate times before a tech came out, and after I moved out due to military obligations another issue has come up. I won't mention the issue in detail, but let's just say I'm probably going to contact legal services at my base.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! It’s a waste of your money. The walls/ceilings are extremely thin. You can hear your neighbor walking upstairs and everything else that is around your unit. Take your business somewhere else! 1. Management here is AWFUL! the problems go from the low level office people all the way up to the corporate office. They don’t give a crap about you once the lease is signed. Don’t let the look of the apartment fool you. I regret moving here. They don’t communicate with each other in the office, and they tend to blame all the issues on you. SUNRISE MANAGEMENT IS MORE AWFUL!!! They are not professional at all. The regional manager blocked my phone and email because she didn’t want to hear about my AC problem and other issues I had addressed during my staying here. 2. There are ROACHES everywhere!!! We had them spray down the unit multiple times, but the roaches just kept on coming back. The AC unit here stopped working halfway through our lease. We found out that Willowbend didn’t want to fix our A/c unit due to a warranty issue, leaving us sitting in our sweat for about 2 weeks. “A/c is not an emergency in their contract” so you’ll be sleeping in the hot unit whether it’s fixed or not. They don’t give you updates on maintenance parts if they have to order to fix the problem... they will make you wait and wait. We called them about once a week just to figure out what the heck was going on with the A/c, but guess what? None of them actually knew what was going on. They got rid of all the old management staff during our 1 year lease with them, and they finally got some new people in there. It honestly will not matter if these people are any better because the problems all come from the corporate office in Dallas. I called the boss of the regional manager, the Vice President multiple times concerning the poor behavior of the regional manager, and she never returned my emails. The only way to get a hold of them is to call the corporate office, and hopefully wait for an email because somehow none of them actually work in the office. Make any sense to you? Because it does not make any sense to me neither! Good luck staying here, looks way better than it really is. Trust me on this one, take your money somewhere else.
Pros. Their new close to everything. Refrigerate works, Microwave works, Dish Washer Works Cons: The walls in the apartments are thin you can hear everything that goes on in the apartment next to you. The AC went out already and they had to fix it. The online rent pay isn't working. The construction company who worked on these apartments just through these apartments together. There is something under the carpet that pokes me in my feet when I walk on the carpet bare foot. The hot water and the cold water is back wards in the bathroom (hot is cold and cold is hot).
