My experience has been great! The staff were welcoming and communicative. I rated it low, because, the apartments aren't in the best shape, but I am grateful. I wish my W/D were hooked up by now, but I know there is a part that maintenance has to install. The pool and clubhouse is beautiful and its quiet, here.

The maintenance staff amazes me! At my previous apartment complex, it would take them weeks to literally months to respond to a work request. At Wildwood, they respond within 24 hours. It's great and I am not used to this great service, having recently moved here from someplace else. The staff in all areas are friendly and get things done. I love living here!

The management here does not care about their residents. The people who left five star reviews were offered an incentive to do so. They closed amenities like the clubhouse and gym for over 3 months when residents were told it’d be 6-8 weeks. They advertise 24/hour gym access and took 4 months to install key fob access for after office hours. The pool has been closed indefinitely for months in the heat of summer with conflicting updates from different staff members. Maintenance requests get marked completed without anyone even coming to check on the problem. When you email the office with concerns, they act like it’s an inconvenience to them and don’t take you seriously. Truly a shame since it’s in a great location and neighborhood. Management needs to reassess how they handle conflict and what they advertise to residents.

While the construction delays that resulted in the clubhouse opening later than anticipated were beyond our control, we sincerely apologize. It has taken management 4 months of consistent follow up to finally have the access control vendor complete the fob access installation at the clubhouse. Our team has done everything required to have the pool open, however, we're unable to do so until the permit and inspection have been approved and completed. This is, unfortunately, another situation that we are unable to expedite, despite our best efforts. We apologize that you were ever made to feel as if you were being misinformed about these issues and will address this with our team. As for any work requests that have not been completed, please contact our office to discuss in further detail at your earliest convenience. Our goal is to provide our residents with exceptional service and we hope to find a resolution to these items that will meet your satisfaction.
The only reason there are 5 star reviews here is because they offer incentives to do so. Office renovations that prevented anyone from using amenities were supposed to last 6-8 weeks and took 3.5 months. Pool is closed indefinitely in the middle of summer for no reason and leasing staff lies when asked why it’s closed or when it’s opening. Maintenance requests have gone unanswered for 2+ months and we are still waiting for issues to be fixed. When you bring up issues to the staff they act like it is your fault. Location and neighborhood is great. Quiet area close to everything. If the leasing office could at least act like they cared about their residents it would be an easy 5 stars.

I have really enjoyed living here. The community is nice and maintained, and the leasing staff is very kind and welcoming! Any issues I've had have been taken care of by the staff who are more than reasonable and happy to help out any way they can. I like that it is pet friendly and quiet resident. no nonsense goes on. some things they could improve - bc nothings perfect there could be a petwash station they have laundromats which are great! - maybe dedicate one machine in each for pet items so theres not hair in random ones the car wash is just a hose - leaves something to be desired they leave community notices with paper on your door, i wish they were emailed bc sometimes i travel for work weeks at a time and dont know but honestly a great place to live for a reasonable price, considering it clt

Water shut off without notification. Maintenance enters homes without notification. Pool closed indefinitely. Just stating facts. Inability to shower and washer and dryer not working have ruined my plans many times .

After two fantastic years at Wildwood, I can confidently say this is a wonderful place to call home, and its prime Charlotte location, coupled with an exceptional staff, makes it stand out. One of the biggest draws for me has been the unbeatable location. Situated in LoSo it offers incredible convenience. I love that I'm just a short walk to my favorite coffee shop, a quick drive to work, close to vibrant nightlife, near beautiful parks for weekend strolls, easy access to major highways like 77. This location has truly enhanced my Charlotte living experience.

Good enough tour and help with getting documents in order before move-in. My insurance was being funky but the leasing office was helpful and we even rescheduled my move so I could get a discount. I wish the your hadn't gone so fast because I didn't notice there wasn't a microwave in my unit but that's the least of my worries and now I know what I'm asking for this Christmas.

I saw 6-7 apartment complexes in one day in south charlotte and it was looking hopeless and I called and talked to McCartney and came in and toured with Mason and immediately loved the complex. A few weeks later, I moved in! So far so good! They really do make moving here a little bit easier! Thanks yall!

I love living at Wild Wood, only complaint lawn maintenance could be more mindful of not blowing debris and knocking over plants on patio causing damage, but it is a fun loving tight knit community and I value that I'm appreciated as a resident and my tenet needs are met upon request and suggestions took in consideration as long as they're within reason.

There’s so much potential for this place. I love how close it is to Charlotte but that’s really about it. We don’t have the best amenities and the inside of the apartments aren’t very nice. The brand new building is nice, but I wish before they tore down the tennis courts and put the new apartments in we could have gotten some upgrades on our extremely old ac units , etc.
Living here is awesome, I love my new updated apartment in the most convenient location. Staff is amazing also and I am looking forward to all the fun events!
So far so great! This is my first time living at a complex and they are exceeding my expectations. Maintenance is amazing with responding to requests and keeping up with the HVAC system. The front office has been nothing the nice and willing to work with me on repairs when I was of town. Being on the first floor can be hard sometimes with the upstairs neighbors not remember just that at all hours of the night, but that’s nothing you can change. The location of the complex is amazing as well only being 10 or so minutes from Uptown. Having the gates up front gives you a little more peace as well. I would recommend my friends to move here.
Mason & the Team at Wildwood went FAR above and beyond to help us hold and eventually get approved for an apartment in a very unique, complicated financial situation. Despite the longer than usual process & hardships involved, the communication, hard work and efforts we received from the leasing team was top notch and exceeded every expectation. In the end, they got us in with the best possible scenario we could have hoped for. Topping it all off, we even got into a brand new apartment! We attempted leasing at several apartment groups that were quick to dismiss us rather than work with us to find a solution for new home we were desperately in need of. Wildwood offered the exact opposite of our other recent experiences. I could not recommend them more to others in search of a nice, updated apartment in a well established, developed neighborhood that is also in a prime location. Most importantly, a Team that will work with the needs & varying situations we all have! THANK YOU WILDWOOD!

I love this place. The location, the price, the staff. All the upgrades. I may get a bigger apartment being a transplant that works from home but even if I stay in this one bedroom I'm happy regardless
I came here to tour an apartment, Mason showed me around and was very nice and friendly. I had toured about 5/6 other apartments before this one and this was my far the nicest office, pool, and apartment. The apartment was clearly thoroughly cleaned with fresh paint and didn’t have any unpleasant smells. It was a great experience.

I love wildwood! It’s perfectly situated in a residential area. Close to many of the popular Charlotte attractions and neighborhoods. Not only is that, wildwood is conveniently close to the interstate should you commute to work. On top of that I love the fact that I can walk to the grocery store and a brewery and bars nearby. The neighborhood is also super quiet and I’ve been here 4 years now. Can’t forget about the pool - I love my summer pool days and grilling with friends and neighbors! Look no further trust me. You’re going to love it here. The maintenance staff and leasing staff are the best. I love the events they host and the food trucks they bring in for residents!

Rents are getting too high with no improvements to any existing residents apartments, the gate is an ongoing problem... It would be welcomed to have a meet and greet for residents, if you don't have a dog its hard to meet anyone...the latest problem seems to be noise, cars coming in blasting music, revving their motors and the latest is people slamming their doors so freaking hard your apartment shakes...I guess on the upside, the community is maintained nicely

I’ve lived here for over 8 months now and I have no complaints. The maintenance team stays on top of everything. The staff are so friendly and inviting, and the upgrades are getting better and better. The new building is sooo nice as well I can’t wait for the gym expansion.

I’ve lived here for nearly 11 years and I don’t want to move! Had one bad manager experience but that’s over. New management and staff are the best. They try their best to keep the community clean and safe. Haven’t seen the new apartments but I really like my location and my closest neighbors. The only drawbacks I have are the outdated appliances and the child size toilet. Rent increases every year but no upgrades exist in the apartments, or at least not in mine. Still it’s a great place to live and the new manager is easy to talk to.
