The Whitby has fulfilled all my needs in for the past year in offering a place that is clean and well maintained at a price I can afford. The staff is pleasant and eager to assist when I have issues. The residents for the most part are friendly and courteous. The location of the Whitby is also ideal as it is close to convenient locations such as grocery stores, pharmacies etc.

Since living here I have been very impressed! They are always super professional and respond to any concerns in a timely manner. If I had to say an area of improvement it would be the hallways. Some of the mess that is in the hallways is from neighbors who are not abiding by the trash rules however I have notice mopping and wiping in the hallways and elevator needs to be more frequent. In the staircase area I believe that needs to be repainted, sprayed for pest and again regularly cleaned like the hallways.

I love living at the Whitby, from the staff to the residents. I haven’t had any problems with anybody. I basically stay to myself. I only interact when I have something wrong or to be nice to my neighbors in passings. They are always quick and on it.

I’ve lived here for a while and I have to say, things have really gone downhill since the new staff took over. There’s been a clear drop in attentiveness, communication, and overall care for the property. Most recently — on May 14 — there were multiple car break-ins. That should be a wake-up call, but there’s been no real update or acknowledgment from management. With the amount of rent people are paying, there should be visible security measures in place and better communication with residents. The new staff just doesn’t seem invested. No communication about events,food trucks we use to get message when there here not any more , and no sense of urgency when things go wrong. It’s like we went from a community to just another apartment complex. You can’t even call the office and get someone — the phones ring endlessly. The new app they rolled out doesn’t allow neighbors to connect anymore either, which has completely killed the community vibe this place used to have. The whole experience feels like a downgrade. Management really needs to take feedback seriously before more residents start moving out.

The staff and maintenance staff have been great so far. Very responsive. The tenants just don't seem to care about anyone else or the building and grounds. They are inconsiderate and very sloppy.

When I first moved in, I wasn’t happy with the management team, but that has changed with time. The maintenance crew is one of the best I’ve seen, they take care of things right away as long as is within their schedule.

I regret signing a lease agreement!!! For the past 13 months there has been False Fire Alarms with no smoke going off inside my apartment, tenants apartments and throughout the property. Building 1 and 2 elevators go down all the time.

The building is cool. Management needs to be more attentive to problems happening in the building. Some residents are very careless & don’t take care of the building. The appliances and tub aren’t the highest quality and you can hear people above you walking. Overall it’s not the worst but it’s not the best.

Wow! This is truly the best that Grayson has to offer! Had a lunchtime tour with Lori and instantly fell in love with the community. Such well planned apartments and truly beautiful amenities. Lori had ALL THE ANSWERS - to my many, many questions and made me feel quite at home. As I was leaving, she introduced me to Margarita and Chrissy who had returned from lunch. I was the first person to move in here and I really enjoy my new home. The apartment is perfect! My home has a lot of natural light, is the perfect size for my growing family. It has a washer & dryer and a deep tub for soaking, the kitchen is open to the living area and is perfect when my friends come to visit. The staff is on point and is so helpful and professional. The Whitby was the best decision ever.

This is by far the best Home I have ever rented. Lori is professional and helpful, she was amazing with helping me find my new home and everything after. I recommend this community to everyone new to this area or state. The Whitby truly has everything your looking for in a new home and close to 78, 316, I-85, and in the middle of all the best shopping and entertainment. I moved in the first of May, so I have good authority on my recommendation. Yes, we have had a few hiccups, as with any newer apartments. During these times the staff has maintained professionalism while communicating and keeping us updated on the events. Check out The Whitby, you will be so happy you did. This place is sooo pretty but sooo defective. The elevator has been out for DAYS and no updates are being given. Living on the 4th floor is so frustrating and exhausting without a working elevator and it's like no one cares. What accommodations are being made? I just helped a lady down a flight of stairs on a walker because she couldn't use the elevator. How is she suppose to get around this place? This place is dead silent on the real issue at hand but can post about reaching 50% occupied when half of your residents are miserable. The point of me choosing the 4th floor was solely because there was an elevator. We are literally paying higher rent than the other floors to be further inconvienced. The LEAST they could do was give an estimated date they think the elevator will be back functioning but no, we were told someone is coming out and haven't heard a thing in days since. The stairwell isn't ventilated so you feel like you're in a dry desert climbing 3 flights of stairs. The package locker doesn't open anymore so Amazon's been leaving packages outside the locker where someone could just walk by and pick up your stuff. Trash isn't being picked up, I assume due to the elevator so the hallway smells terrible. The fire alarm went off randomly in the middle of my virtual meeting and took forever to get turned off. I understand this is a new community but knowing you're a new community I feel they should plan better for these things. This isn't this company's first complex so why does it seem no one knows anything. If you decide to live here, which I strongly encourage you to think long and hard about that decision, specifically ask for an apartment in the second building, everything seems to work in their building.

Is a great place to live. Very well located with excellent amenities. I am concerned that gym and pool could be crowded once all units are rented. A second pool and gym will be great.
