The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Whispering Pines
there are a few reasons actually. here are a few of them to deter you from renting from the current whispering pines management. 30 yr old water heaters. no doorbells. no playground. no garbage disposal.
I just moved out, had no issues the entire time I lived here. Great staff and management. If I ever move back to the area I'd apply again!
The property manager is so incredibly helpful with not only the application process but every step there after. The property is beautiful and so welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to call home.
I did not rent a townhome, but I had an appointment scheduled for showing at 10:30 AM. I am very disappointed at the apartment manager on site/ the management. When I arrived, she told me that the hometown is no longer available, and someone was in the process of filling the application. I traveled from Stevens Point, and she couldn’t even called ahead to inform me. In addition, no appointments can be made after Friday evening through the weekend, because she has to take care of her mother. That is reasonable, however, management/company owner should really consider having another on site manager. We should not have to fit our schedule into someone else’s schedule.
These apartments are great for the price. 2 Bedroom just 660 a month. The Appliances are up to date and well maintained while the heating and cooling work good. All around the price can't be beat in the Wausau area.
So negatives first: Said they were going to replace broken blinds, 16 days later and nothing has been done. There was pet hair everywhere when I moved in. The flooring and carpet are old. There are stains on walls and ceilings that simply painting would have fixed. The heat vent in the bathroom is all covered in rust (could also have been painted). There is no patio door, only a few windows. The driveway into the parking area is extremely steep and if not moving extremely slow the bottom of my car scrapes the pavement. No utilities are included except for trash. Only one lock on the door. Positives: The neighborhood is nice and peaceful, seems safe, and the neighbors are nice. The ceiling is vaulted. There is a lot of cupboard space and the cupboards look new. Garage, washer/dryer, dishwasher and A/C are included. The carpet isn't bad, just older. There is a lot of cabinet space in the bathroom. Management is just a call away as the assistant manager lives on-site. Overall, for the price you think you could expect a little more. At least a patio door and a small deck/porch would be nice. It looks a little like a studio apartment when you walk in but then you realize there is more space than it first appears. The vaulted ceiling also gives it a nice look.
The apartments are clean and I like how close it is to Stettin School. My kids have a lot of friends around the neighborhood and I feel comfortable with them biking around the neighborhood alone. The only complaint I have are the kids playing in the streets all the time - it makes driving to the apartment difficult.
Whispering Pines is a amazing apartment complex. The staff is very patience and understanding to my needs. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. So much space!! Overall a 5 out of 5.
