Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Wheelhouse Co-Living
So far I’m loving it, the move in was simple and very easy. The manager was very friendly and took the time to explain the ins and outs of the area and building. I’m happy to be here
The internet in this apartment has been extremely poor. I’m not sure why, but many common websites and apps simply won’t load. In addition, the apartment’s events are frequently cancelled or rescheduled, which is very disappointing.
I am active duty military and the location is great commute to NRC Baltimore. The prices for the room is great value for the location to be right at both Baltimore stadiums. Location is great for single or members geo-batching in the area.
Wheelhouse is a gem among Baltimore, a friendly community and welcoming atmosphere leaves me looking forward to coming home and appreciating the quality that is preserved.
Living here has been a great experience. The community is clean, safe, and the staff is always helpful and responsive. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and I really enjoy the amenities. Highly recommend this community!
Everywhere is pretty neat. I love that my roommates and I basically like family. It’s quiet and coordinated. In the kitchen, you’re supplied with the utensils you need and order things.
Very dirty roommates .. window in my room doesn’t operate. No real security for packages to keep them from not being stolen. Too many things to list that is wrong with this building

Hi - I'm disappointed to hear you had a negative experience at our community. If there's anything else you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.
Maintenance never responds. Staff is not great at communicating anything. Rent keeps getting raised without any improvements to property. Overall just not a good experience.

I don't always understand all the rules of the Wheelhouse but I adapt to the rules. The cleaning staff does a great job keeping the building clean.

You're the best! We really appreciate the positive review.
The apartment was okay for a place in Federal Hill with the cheapest rent. The roommates can be a serious hit or miss and can impact the co-living experience. Bedroom came furnished which was nice. The kitchen was also decently stocked up from previous tenants so it minimize the need to buy a lot of things.

Building is good. The lounge area unfortunately people are leaving their trash everywhere. The remote for the TV are missing. Residence leading their trash in the hallway by the trash chute

Wow, we're glad you had such a wonderful experience with us!
Very affordable! If I had the time to use the amenities, I would! I feel secure some time. This is great for someone who works in office setting. A lot of noise, so if you don’t mind it, then you should be fine. Small business friendly :)

Hello there, thank you; we appreciate your feedback!
Overall review was great. The staff member that I spoke with showed me and the wife around the rules down of the place. The o ly drawback i have is that parking isn't on site. But this is a Baltimore thing I guess not from the area.

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!
My experience at this apartment community was mixed, starting with several issues upon move-in. The unit wasn’t properly cleaned, and I immediately encountered low water pressure, making it hard to settle in. Toward the end of my stay, the A/C unit broke, and it took nearly a month to repair, causing significant discomfort. The TV also had picture problems that were never resolved. Co-living didn’t suit me, as shared spaces were poorly maintained, and privacy was often lacking. While the amenities were nice, they were often unavailable when I needed them, and the common areas were frequently dirty and noisy. On the positive side, the location was excellent, offering easy access to the shops and attractions. Maintenance staff were thorough but service timeframes. Overall, while I appreciated the location and some aspects of the property, the combination of maintenance delays, initial cleanliness issues, and the challenges of co-living made this building not the right fit for me.

Hi, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We regret that you had a negative experience, and will use this as an opportunity to improve.
Beautiful building in a great downtown Baltimore location. Clean, affordable, and accessible to food, shopping, and medical facilities. Parking is tight, yet there is reasonable parking available nearby.

I enjoy Wheelhouse, the amenities are great, the staff communicate well and respectful. The location is great, it can be loud at times but personally I don’t mind. This is my first apartment experience and I am happy I made the decision with Wheelhouse.

The location is very central and the apartments are nice! Would be nice to know information about roommates prior to move in, but it seems to generally work out.

I recommend living here if you are moving to the area and don't know anyone. The building is secure and in a great location. The price is decent and there are many things included with your utility payment. A great transitional place when moving to Baltimore.

On the surface, the wheelhouse is a beautiful building in a safe, fun, and busy neighborhood. Thats not the best thing though. The friendly culture in here is phenomenal. Everyone is interested in your story and happy to meet you. If youre like me and dont know a single person in the city, youll have a group of friends in no time.

The design is modern and layout of the room is perfect for one person to live in. Dante has been really helpful and prompt in addressing any issues that come up. The apartment is close to everything while the windows keep the street noise out very well. In brief, I am loving living in the Wheelhouse.

Very nice building, great price and friendly staff, love how the apartment came with glasses, cookware and small appliances. Needs Xfinity service in the apartments however for work from home. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an alternative to looking for roomates online.
