Property Ratings at Westridge Apartment Homes
The worst apartment i lived in California. Poor management. They don't do background check for people. This apartment is not good for family. I went through hard times with the person lived in upstairs unit. I reported several times. Management advised me to move to another unit rather than take action against him. Finally i had to move to another unit. When i left the apartment, i had to pay for very minor damage/ starin in the carpet as well. Management looks to find a way to charge it, when you leave the apartment. I don't even provide one star to this apartment.
I moved here from out of state to start a new job. Asked before moving on all information for move in, they failed to tell me that I needed to rent a fridge (delivery took 3 weeks with the company they suggested), How the laundry room works/ that I needed cash (specifically a 10 or 20$ bill) to purchase a laundry card, that the garage under my apartment is rented by someone else (loud garage door sounds all hours of the night) and that if I ever needed any help I would get a snarky/ you are bothering me response. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
The rent is high for the condition of the apartments. The kitchen is so small, I can't fit everything in the cabinets. Also, the cabinets are ready to fall off. They've probably been here for 15 years and painted over and over. They try and blame you for things that go wrong and make you pay them. they do not respond about a chronic loud, abrasive, cursing, scary, neighbor. The policy is constantly being called on these people and nothing is done. The pools are nice, however, some of the jets do not work in the hot tub. One of the hot tubs (the private one with no pool) is so disgusting that you can't even get in it.
The are is nice to live in and the actual apartments are nice inside too. BUT, if you enjoy quiet and privacy, this is not the place! There is CONSTANTLY noise outside with workers. Either a tree blower, trees being knocked down, construction happening, or even just loud workers right outside your window talking and laughing like they're at lunch. All this noise begins at 7am sometimes too! Also, the management is CONSTANTLY finding reasons to come inside your apartment (and garage if you have one) for inspections and "maintenance." They find reasons to come in at least 5 times a year, and if you're not home, owell. I've lived in other apartments where my home was NEVER entered unless I called them for something. Overall, I'd say you're better off finding a better apartment in the area that is comparable without these problems.
