The apartment community is very nice and clean on the outside the landscaping is always taken care of when you enter the lobby it's stunning always clean. However it's the apartment where you live that needs to be updated in terms of the roach problem, the mouse problem. This is a very old building and unfortunately over the years management did not attend to be upkeep of the electrical, plumbing, windows, elevators

Few years ago it was too loud around here, now it is. Rats and roaches. Smoking is now also common and the smell affects none smokers. Also with kids and babies around this isn’t good for their up bringing.

Living here for 5 years and have no issue the only problem we have is that we can not adjust the AC and heat we have to wait for the managements to turn it on heat in winter and AC in summer..

Unprofessional since day one , I had to go to the management company to get help. I wish the staff was better overall. I moved in and nobody was aware that my wife and I were supposed to. The new apartment they gave us was extremely dirty and broke. I love the potential of what it can be but just a few things need to change here.
I like it here the environment is universal you have all types of religions & people living in the building. I Like How Bug The space is & the high rise view looks great

Westchester Towers Apartments is a nice place to live. The Apartments are Spacious great amenities located near everything from schools to restaurants and shopping malls.Westchester Towers has reasonable prices garage parking and an excellent Staff to answer all your questions daily.

The unit is nice, but the kitchen never seems to be without roaches. It is difficult to bring in groceries, for the rain hits the loading dock, which smells of garbage especially in the heat of summer, and the doors do not open easily for carrying in heavy bags.

summer season was great I really enjoyed the pool. The lifeguard staff was always professional and respectful. Meet fellow tenants which was wonderful The .maintenance staff kept the grounds looking good.

Been here for 3yrs when I got here, it was nice, clean and quiet. Now, it’s noisy, loud, not as clean as before. Lots of roaches in apartment and mice, laundry machines not working properly always have to go to another floor.

Good experience so far, but the neighbor’s dog is a bit annoying. I love how spacious the apartment is, the balcony is huge and there are so many closets!

It isn't a bad place to live. The price and location are good. Apartments are very spacious and I love the balconies. People smoke inside a lot, esp the stairwells, even though the community is supposed to be smoke free. It often smells of weed and cigarettes. People also don't clean up after their pets inside or outside of the building so watch where you step!

Most things are as advertised but the ADA accessibility is unclear and staff are not familiar with reasonable accommodations and modifications which is making things hard now that we are moved in.
Unless you are looking forward to mice, loud barking all night, marijuana smoking, rude, incompetent office staff, aggressive towing and constant issues with water and air conditioning RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!! Constant promises and gave responses to reviews will not change ANYTHING. From the outside looking in this looks to be luxury living, it’s a FACADE! From the moment you sign the lease EVERYTHING changes! Maintenance is horrible! Nothing gets fixed properly. The rear entrance has an odor of death. Maintenance and the porters have to smell it, I know as a resident, I DO! Every day! Clean, disinfect, do something! That’s an entry way to the building! Make sure it smells nice! Once you enter through the rear door there’s ALWAYS SOMEONES TRASH TAKING UP MOST OF THE SPACE! Living here has BEEN EXTREMELY STRESSFUL AND DISAPPOINTING!!! I am currently in the process of BREAKING MY LEASE! Take my advice and DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY NOR TIME!!!

As a military veteran who has lived in housing units throughout the U.S. (and outside of the U.S.), this is by far the worst apartment that I have ever rented. Many areas of the building are cockroach infested. You will see them in the hallways, elevators and most likely in your unit. I filed a complaint with management the first day that I moved into the unit due to the cockroaches. On numerous occasions, my complaints were ignored by management. I had to contact Prince George’s County Code Enforcement to make management address the issue (at least four times within a short period of time). By the time that I left the unit, mice had also infiltrated the unit. Again, my requests for pest control were ignored by management. In addition, the fire department damaged an entrance door beyond repair while responding to a 911 call caused by a faulty fixture in the unit installed by management. Management failed to repair the damaged door for nearly a month. Again, I had to contact County Code Enforcement as it was a serious safety and fire hazard. Lastly, I was assaulted on the property by a guest or resident (not sure which at this point) and filed a police report. This assault was over a perceived dirty look. Safety on the property can be an issue as entrance and garage doors are often left open by management. Find somewhere else to live. Members of management (particularly the current managers) are incompetent and lack basic critical thinking skills. Five of my neighbors living in the same wing of the building were in the process of vacating or planned to vacate the property by the time that I left the unit.
I’m currently moving out and Im leaving a warning for anyone considering moving here. Don’t do it. Among the MULTIPLE issues, my biggest ones are the roaches and mice. I’ve lived here for over a year now and since I moved in the roaches have been a disgustingly annoying issue. I couldn’t find another place fast enough when I first got here and management acted like the issue was under control but it wasn’t. They don’t even do treatment monthly and I had to beg them to come the few times they did. A lot if thé reason why they can move so freely is because a lot of the areas within the apartment aren’t sealed off. You’ll see little gaps of space between the walls in the kitchen and bathroom. On top of that they have a mouse infestation. The doors are so far from the ground that they can slide right in and out. Aside from those the management team is so rude and they never get anything fixed. Not to mention neighbors throwing stuff off the balcony into the trash, the weed smell, the a/c issues… for them to charge this much for such awful living conditions…. Shocking. I pray no one wastes their time and money here.

Poor service with the Manager and the staff. They keep their office impressive but never taking care of the tenant's needs. I placed multiple requests about issues in my apartment but never fixed nor done. Poorly, they status my request completed even it was never done, sounds dishonesty for me. The lobby is impressive, but the Manager and the staff are very poor performance of their service. I cannot recommend this place to my friends and family. Sorry.

Mice run all day and night. First year nothing. Second year ...mice and roaches. Don’t pay for the storage lockers, the delivery person will leave them in that area and they will be stolen!!

Westchester Tower is an awesome luxury apartment home. My leasing agent Emarjah was very accommodating during my move-in process and has continued to be very helpful even after move-in. Amazon deliveries to my locker, exercise room downstairs, contests($) every month & a newly decorated foyer! I am really growing to love this place!

This place is the worst. Do not make the mistake I did! No hot water or heat consistently at least once a month since I moved here in 2019. The staff are virtually no help with a privileged and entitled attitude. Bugs abound and the smell of weed is prolific. Loud mouth and foul mouthed neighbors are cringe worthy. Trash is thrown off the balconies daily. I am getting out of here. Please avoid this place at all costs.

I wish its possible to give this apartment complex a negative rating. Every issue listed below both by previous and current tenants are true. You get sold by the environment and the lobby view, but dont realize what you will experience once locked in contract. Water issue every month even though the water bill is avg.$150 alone. Getting someone to answer your question from the office if you are not seeking a unit to rent, Roaches issues, elevator constantly breaking down. Towing company looking for an opportunity to tow your vehicle and what's u to cough up $175 instantly. A/C unit down for over 3weeks after just a couple weeks of being turned on; and dealing with the high heat temp and humidity. And management not informing you until a weeks past by posting notifications in constant broken down elevator. And what's tops it up this was the new management take over, no visibility to your bill and when I requested for a detail breakdown of my bill I noticed couple new charges on it being identified as admin. Without notification, added an extra charge to my monthly payment, and with no visibility I wouldn't have captured this extra charge, but finding out about the charge didnt make them remove it. And for show, know that you will never get your deposit back no matter how long u live there. Cleaned up the unit, but there found a way to find charges up to the amount of my deposit and top it with an insult with a couple $ balance. WOW, what a APARTMENT!!!!

AC has been out for weeks and even though management says its working - the apartment stays at 85 - 90 degrees every day. Can't even sleep in bedrooms. Too scary to sleep on the couch or floor because ROACHES ARE EVERYWHERE and loving all the heat and humidity. Water and elevators are out regularly too. This rent is high considering just how unsafe and unhealthy this apartment is. Do not let the lobby or model fool you. This is the most disgusting place I've ever lived and I am regretting my decision to lease here every minute of every day.

I loved this community prior to the change of landlordship last December. Since then, I still can't find monthly rent invoices nor lease document in the resident portal. I only receive late in the first week of the month my ulitities bill. So I have to split my payments in 2. In February 2020, without any prior notices, I receive an eviction notice from Maryland district court for a balance of $2.56. If you are looking for an appartment, please cross your Ts and dot your Is. If you are already resident, I wish you good luck!

I can not understand you gave 4 stars for this property which is FULL of roaches; many times the dumpster is on the way going to the parking lot; very disguising; I asked myself how the management team can't do anything about that. You pay $ 50.00 for a so called "covered " parking which is always open; cars are not secure; There are many issues that need to be fixed at this property; I understand, it is old , still they can upgrade . It is not worth the price leaving such environment, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PARTNER WITH ROACHES! on weekend, you can not use the trash room, where stuffs are dumped on the floor and roaches crawling .

My roommate and I are having a billing problem. We are being mis-charged on our account for an after-hours lockout that didn't happen and a late fee has been assessed on that item which we will not pay for because we never had the after-hours lockout service! We've called 20 times and emailed twice. Its been 2 business days and no one has responded. Yesterday I went down to the office myself and the lady there, who was incredibly unprofessional, informed me she was on lunch. There are three people in that office, the fact that they all go on lunch at the same time is ridiculous. the people working in the office are pretty useless.

Constant water and heat/air conditioning outages. Very high utilities. Broken down laundry facilities in both individual units and common areas. Roaches, rodents..... Poor management.
