Living in this apartment has been a very positive experience. From the start, I have appreciated how well-maintained and welcoming the space feels. The layout is comfortable and functional, with plenty of natural light that makes each room inviting throughout the day. Daily life here is easy, thanks to reliable amenities that support both relaxation and productivity. The building itself is kept in excellent condition, and the atmosphere is peaceful, which allows me to feel at home and at ease. I also value the convenience of the location—close to stores, restaurants, and transportation—while still offering a quiet environment to come back to. Overall, living here has provided the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and peace of mind. It is a place I truly enjoy calling home and one I would recommend to anyone.

Great Gym! I love the sauna too. Also, the rent is super cheap and it's at a decent location. Another one of my favorite things is the free parking for guests.

Cleanliness of the common area can definitely be improved. The dog dna initiative is a good step in this direction. Looking for more initiatives to improve the general ambiance of the community.

Little bit of a rough start with some minor cosmetic issues in the apartment, but things are fine now. The girls at the front desk are super sweet and helpful. We are right next to a stairwell, so there is a little more noise than we are used to but that is expected.

These West Towne apartments are well kept for student housing. The staff is quick to communicate when there are issues relating to maintenance.

There has been crickets, roaches, and a few spiders that hasn't made the experience great. There is also paint on all the trims that isn't all that appealing along with missing trims. The elevator is also a little sketchy. However, the people at the leasing office are really nice and overall the apartment is pretty nice.

I had a great time moving in everything went smoothly and people I talked to were welcoming! I didn’t pick up the key and info but everything was pretty straight forward.

We recently had a house fire and we’re trying to get into a place that was safe uncomfortable for my children since we are moving to a new city. The staff was great and they were able to get us in and make us feel comfortable.

My resident experience has been good so far. Prompt replies to maintenance requests, easy access to the leasing office, and the move-in process was smooth.

Super great management and maintenance team!!! Everyone is so nice! It’s a great community to live in for any type of person! The amenities are amazing too.

Besides some slight maintenance issues, really nice place to live and very helpful management! Policies aren’t too harsh, Very nice amenities and such. Nothing to complain about!

Very nice apartment, I appreciate that they have an elevator since we are on the 3rd floor, it help when moving in They only thing that I didn’t like how we had to wait 7 days to move in and the place was not properly cleaned

I have had a great experience living in this apartment complex. The apartment was clean when moving in, the hallways are quiet, and the location is perfect. Lastly the staff is great and always get back to your questions asap!

Everything has exceeded expectations so far. The only inconvenience I’ve had was multiple visits from maintenance due to the unit below experiencing water damage.

Nice apartment. Management is willing to help with problems. Move in was smooth and easy. Quick responses back from property. Excited about the amenities.

Love the style of the apartment and the modern style locks don’t even need a real key. Also the elevator is very convenient when I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to walk up the stairs.

Overall pretty nice place to live the staff is super helpful and no really bothers each other the halls are quiet and it’s pretty pet friendly

The apartment complex's maintenance team is quick and does a good job. I had a broken fridge and it was replaced within two days of my initial request. The area is also pretty nice and theres a cafe and gas station super close which is a plus.

Apartment wasn’t renovated or cleaned before move in. Waited an extra week cause they said they would renovate the place during that extra week

Friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Quick to help and answer any questions you have on move in day! Definitely will be recommending them to my friends

There’s mice in my kitchen, and I moved in three days ago. The entire apartment reeks of cat urine, especially my room, there was a hole in the wall, my closet door was broken. The refrigerator didn’t work, and don’t even get me started on the balcony. The worst part is that it came like this and we can’t do much about it.

Stuff is very nice love it some of the people here are nice not all of them it's close to a gas station Dollar tree to hotels and down the street from perfect game

Great staff and friendly, fast maintenance. Good properties that are well kept. Good grounds and landscaping that is also well kept. Great location.

Great living space have small noise complaints during late hours, but other than that the people seem nice and staff is ready to assist you with anything

I really love the location of the apartment and the size of the unit. Staff is very friendly and helpful! The apartment has modern finishes which I love and lots of natural lighting!

AC is non functioning, apartment won’t get below 70 degrees, with AC on full (60 degrees) running 24/7. My utility bill is going to I be through the roof and I still can’t sleep. I have received zero correspondence to this issue from management as well. Thankfully I get multiple emails a day about community rewards though!

The move in was very smooth and all the people are nice. I really like the apartment. When we moved in it was clean. There was little that needed to be fixed up

I've enjoyed my time so far. I appreciate the cleaning that is done to the main areas, like the hallway and elevator, every week. Noise has not been an issue so far.

Amazing unit! I am so excited to be living with my two best friends, when we toured the unit we knew this was where we wanted to be together!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Maintenence gets on top of getting requests completed. Apartments are well maintained and comfortable.

I love this place! My studio is so cozy and all of my maintenance requests were completed in less than a week! There’s lots of space to go on walks with my dog!

Things are starting to look better but the unit was a mess when we first got the keys. The unit smelled like cat, closet doors broken off, fridge/freezer broken and so on. Maintenance is helping us out with the things that need replaced but these things should have been done before allowing people to move in.

Overall I really like living here, and most of my issues revolve around residents rather than management so there’s not much that they could do about it.

Great move in experience. Everything was clean, the paint looks fresh, and the floors look new. All the appliances also work well and haven’t had any issues.

So far so good! I have no complaints neighbors are nice and common areas are clean. Im just moving in and haven't fully settled yet but im thinking I'll like it here!

When putting in a maintenance request they were really fast to resolve my issue. i also liked that when the issue was resolved they told me what was wrong and how they fixed it

It has been awesome! Views are great, everything has been really smooth running so far, and I like how the apartments are laid out! I like how helpful all of the staff are here at Haverkamp Properties, especially at West Towne

I really like the staff they are very helpful! The place is quiet most of the time and everything is quite nice. The hallways smell a bit sometimes, however they do come around a clean.

Been great so far but needed to call maintenance about a few things needing fixed. But the apartment was clean and easy move in. I am excited for this new year of living in Ames :)

Quiet and friendly! Can't complain at all! The neighbors are nice and the amenities are great. I will especially enjoy the gym and café when I get a chance to fully settle in.

So far I have really liked the spaciousness and the amenities of the apartment! For what is provided, the cost seems very reasonable. Only downside has been the cleanliness of the apartment (likely because we did same day move in). You could tell the previous tenants spent no time cleaning before they moved out.

Very seamless move in process. Everyone in the office was very helpful and organized. I was in and out in less than five minutes. I got the right keys and was able to get right into my apartment with no issues. The move in packet is also very informative and outlines all of the amenities very well.

There are a lot of nice amenities that the community offers to its residents. The apartment staff are really nice and welcoming to everyone. The maintenance staff are also quick to fix problems that come up.

Easy move in, spacious floor plans and friendly staff. The cleaning service before move in wasn’t super great but no major problems. We like the gym membership a lot especially since the 24 hour location is located basically on site

Moving in here was pretty easy. One thing is that my apartment unit smelled a bit like cigarette smoke and I’m trying to rid the smell will air fresheners and candles. Don’t like that smell so it makes the whole experience a bit bad.

Just moved in but so far so good. I like the spacious rooms and the kitchen is very open. The lady that worked with us in the office made everything super easy.

It’s been good so far, not too many broken or scratched things. The building and staff are nice and very helpful. The areas outside are very tidy and clean and everyone seems to be respectful around the apartment building.
