West 10

They are forcing me to relocate to a different apartment with only 2 months left in my lease because none of my roommates are here for summer even though my roommates and I are all still paying rent. West 10 also told me they could NOT guarantee my safety with my new roommates. So morale of the story, never live at this place it is absolutely horrendous, management is disrespectful and does not know how to run an establishment. I also want to add that I signed this lease assuming this place was of quality and respected their tenants which is clearly not true at all

I have lived here over a year. Since I moved in, standards have been declining. There is dog poop all over, there is no grass around the complex, and the management is lazy. I have called maintenance only for them to come, do a sloppy fix and then for it to break again a month later. The Internet here is the absolute WORST because they only pay for the mediocre plan from Comcast. They will fine you if you leave trash outside your door for a couple hours before you have to go somewhere. The amenities around here have disappeared. There used to abe Keurig coffee and teas in the office and now there is only some cheap old coffee maker because they stopped paying for K Cups. I can only imagine that the standards will continue to decrease (even though rates will increase). I will not be living here again as a result of this.

I live in a 1 Bedroom/1 Bath apartment and it's been a very pleasant stay. With the few troubles I have run into, communication with West 10 management is easy, they respond quickly, and will help you until the problem is solved. Although I live alone, I feel safe in my apartment and have experienced great comfort there. I would absolutely recommend West 10 for anyone looking for a place to live for a few years!

Super spacious apartments , great roomate matching and fun amenities !

West 10 is located in a perfect spot relative to Florida State University and the surrounding fun places to go. As a student, it takes me about 5minutes to get to school in the mornings and about 15 to get to work. Any restaurant is no more than 20 minutes away, as well as Governor's Square Mall. Additionally, this apartment complex is great for meeting new people. With events almost every week, it is harder to NOT get to know people. Everyone living here is very friendly and helpful, and the dog park with all of the cute puppies running around ties it all together!

An excellent place for students to live. Gated community and reasonable price. Amenities are nice and comes with internet, cable, and a TV. Appliances like dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer need an upgrade. Apartment was not very clean upon move in, but maintenance and staff are very friendly, timely, and helpful. Overall, very happy as a student living here, and would recommend for the price and location.

Overall this is a good place to live. The office staff is very friendly and happy to help but management is almost never available. I’ve lived here for 2 years and it’s definitely one of the better places in Tallahassee for the money.

West 10 is a great place to live! I'm currently in a 4x4 and my room is spacious enough with a decent sized bathroom and spa-esque tub. My roommates have had minor issues as far as crooked cabinets, carpet stains etc. but they also moved in early before any cleanup. The convenience store has come in handy multiple times and I've used the theater inside the clubhouse a lot when family is in town and I have nothing planned! So, nice amenities and nice service so far. 9/10 would recommend.

West 10 is a beautiful area to live in. The amenities are above and beyond expectations. However, the only downside to living here is that if you want to pay online for rent and utilities it is a $15 fee. It may seem cheaper but in reality you are paying $30 extra a month, so the price comes out to be pretty expensive

West 10 is a wonderful place to live off campus! The staff provides excellent service, and they recently, opened a 24-hour convenience store that comes in handy when you get those late night munchies. They also offer many events that will let you interact with many of the residents living there.

I love living at west 10. The apartments are a good size with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything is updated and the appliances are fully functional. The closets are walk in which is super nice. The management is very organized and helpful. If theres ever an issue maintenance gets on it relatively quickly. They have multiple resident events throughout the month with free food and movie nights which I love :).

Everything about this place is great! Resident Appreciation, the staff, clubhouse amenities, the size of my room and the price, quiet community on weekdays and fun parties on weekends, and a good smelling front office haha....It's so wonderful that I renewed even though I had to have a random roommate, and they paired me up with a great match based on my preferences

This is a really good apartment to live in, especially if you’re going to college up here. It’s about 10 minutes to FSU and is close to TCC. There are plenty of options for food on Tennessee St, too. I currently live in a 3 bed 3 bath and I love the layout of my room. There is so much closet space and my bathroom is really nice. The shelves on the walls above the desk are useful and look nice to put decorations on. There is also a lot of parking spots so I am always able to get a spot pretty close to my building, if not right in front of it. The only things I do not love is that the walls are really thin and the WiFi can be really slow at times. My roommates and I can hear each other simply talking at a normal volume in our rooms with both of the doors closed, which can get a little annoying. The noise doesn’t bother me as much though, so I am able to go to sleep and not wake up. If you are a really light sleeper though, just know that sometimes you can hear other people or music. Howveer, there’s always the option of calling security even in the middle of the night and getting them to ask the people to try to be a little more quiet. Overall I think this is a great place for any college student or person who wants an affordable place with nice amenities.

West 10 is not only a nice place to live, but a fun place to live. With resident events every week, there's always something to do. Free food, giveaways, and pool parties almost every weekend. My 2x2 is comfy and cozy, and I've got a great view of the pool from my bedroom. I love it here.

West 10 is a great place to live. The staff is amazing and helpful. The facilities are kept clean and nice. There is always free things being given away at the club house. I have always felt safe and comfortable.

West 10 is great to live at. Considering the amount of space each apartment has, there aren't many cons. The complex is very friendly and always has days that gives out free food to residents, special treats, night/day activities, etc. Would definitely reccomend to anyone looking for an off campus apartment ! It is also pet friendly !

Cool place to live about 10 minutes away from fsu the amenities are awesome they even have a 24 hour convenience store for residents!

I have lived at West 10 for 3 years now and I'm so sad to be graduating. It is such a fun place to live at, yet it is safe and it feels like home. The office staff does a great job of finding compatible roommates and they always try to have fun events for residents. I love living here.

The apartments themselves are very nice! Maintenance can be kind of slow but they get the job done. The amenities are great although if you're a big buff dude or need all the equipment there is to offer, the gym probably won't do you any good

The apartments are super spacious and they always host events for their residents and give out free food almost every week. A huge plus is the community is gated and each apartment has an alarm system that can be set up! It's almost only 5-10 minutes from FSU and is a quiet community compared to others.

West 10 is a god place to live, not too many complaints! They have great resident amenities and awesome resident activities (a couple times a month). They have a cool dog park but no one picks up their dog's poop! I couldn't even tell you how many times i've stepped in dog poop at night (ugh). Maintenance is decent, sometimes they are super slow and sometimes they are super fast. The workers up front are very helpful and nice. But whoever paints the inside of the apartments does NOT do a good job at all, very sloppy.

West 10 has very nice apartments for college students. Only a 5-10 minute drive to FSU’s campus. Right down the street from Walmart. And they’re always have fun events and free food for their residents! Would definitely recommend leasing here!

So I feel as though because I wasn't made "aware", I would take the time to enlighten future residents of this apartment. West 10 offers a variety of great amenities, such as: (1) tanning beds (2) a beautiful pool (3) a 24-hour gym (4) study rooms and (5) a variety of different activities that include movie-nights and the arrival of food trucks on the premises. Along with these great amenities this apartment complex hosts parties weekly, during the summer at the pool. They've built a new convenience store, as well, which is self-service and always tidy. Now, if you don't solely care about the amenities being offered, but care about receiving your money's worth -- then West 10, may or may not be for you, depending on how much you value the worth of a dollar. I moved into West 10 Apartments on the 22nd of August, mind you there's only 31 days in the month-- for 9 days, I paid a full month's rent. Now, a location with integrity that valued their tenets and the business they conduct, would prorate that rent because that's just insulting to everyone involved to pay an entire month worth of rent for 9 days, but of course West 10 isn't your typical apartment complex. However, I will say that the size of the common area and the size of the apartment rooms, themselves, are spacious. The walls are VERY thin and there are vents above each door that allows for you to hear exactly what everyone in their designated room is either doing or saying. The maintenance team is great, they definitely know how to do their jobs; however, as long as it takes to get them there to fix the problem, you might as well learn how to do it yourself. Within the first few months of moving in be ready for West 10 to badger you with promotions and calls on renewing your lease with them, using their number one claim, "RENEW YOUR LEASE BY [insert date here] TO KEEP PAYING YOUR SAME RENT BEFORE PRICES INCREASE"-- keep in mind, this goes on the entire time your lease is in effect. Tenets signing leases for a 4x4 now are paying $10 less than what I'm currently paying, so yeah definitely a shady way of conducting business. As much as I currently pay to live in a 4x4 at West 10. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a location that provides activities for their tenets with fine amenities and a relatively new and renovated clubhouse then West 10 Apartments may just be what you're looking for--

West 10 is a great place to live off campus! It is about a 5 to 10 minute drive to campus (depending on the traffic) and the staff provides excellent service. If you prefer to live alone it's even possible to live in a one-one. And they recently, as of 2017, opened a 24-hour convenience store that comes in handy when you need to get a few items at odd times of the day.

I've lived at West 10 for the past 3 years and I cannot imagine living anywhere else during my college career! The amenities are all updated and the apartments are super spacious. I live in a 4/4 on the 3rd floor and it's super quiet. The office does events 2-3 times a week which is more than any of my friends apartment complexes. Victory in the front office has always been super helpful and an absolute doll to work with!!!!!

I live in a 4x4 at west 10 and I absolutely love it! The maintenance staff is great and usually arrives promptly whenever any of us need something to be fixed. The office is always having events where free food is available to residents and the study rooms in the clubhouse are great for late nights when I don't feel like driving to campus. The closets are also HUGE which is really helpful for storage purposes, and the spa-style bathtub is great for a relaxing night in. I would absolutely recommend west 10 to any future college students!

West 10 is a pretty cool place to live! I live in a 4/4 and the rooms and bathrooms are huge! Plenty of space in the kitchen and living room as well. Everything is pretty modern and kept up well. The office is very attentive to residents and what we like as college students (i.e. free food, pool parties, etc.). Every time I have had a problem, the office has done a pretty good job of attending to it. My only complaint is about neighbors, but I expected loudness and rudeness at a college apartment community.

I've been living at West 10 for about two years now and I honestly really enjoy the complex. Besides my neighbors that are disrespecful and inconsiderate(the staff at West 10 has addressed this) I can't think of many things I dislike. The clubhouse workers are always nice and helpful with whatever I need, my work order requests are fixed in a timely manner, and the apartment itself is great. I love my balcony, it's a perfect reminder of why I came to Florida for school in the first place!

Last year my friends all moved to West 10 & when I joined them in fall 2016, I was so excited! West 10 is a great place to live. Each week there's something new going on and they're always trying to connect with the residents! The apartments are spacious and I love the set up!

I live in a 4/4 and love it so far! It's close to campus and really easy to get to. It's extremely spacious and even when we have some problems, maintenance always comes to fix it as soon as they can. The staff is really accommodating and I would recommend living here! It has a great gym and pool area as well and they even just opened a 24 hour market. Only thing is that it isn't very well insulated and can often hear everything that goes on in the apartment.

I live in a 2X2 at West 10 and love it! They keep the property very clean and they have a bunch of amenities. Everyone always wants to come to my place to study because the office is always having events and free candy. If you ever have a concern the staff is there and is very helpful!

West 10 is great! The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are perfect with a tub/shower, toilet, big sink, and lots of storage space! The closets are also huge!! The staff is great and fairly easy to work with, but sometimes you have to hound them to get something fixed for real. It isn't that difficult you just need to be persistent. The clubhouse is very nice, with a pretty good gym, tanning beds, movie theater, and different video games for all the residents to share. Its never that busy and feels like a lot less people live here than actually do. Maintenance is super nice and helpful with any small to big issues. Parking spots are tight, but I can always find one near my apartment.

I've been a resident of West 10 for almost two years now and I absolutely love it ! The amenities are great, the maintenance staff is top notch and the office staff are always available to help. Size of the apartment is very spacious as well as the closets and bathrooms. Definitely resigning for next year! It really is the Perfect 10 !

The front gate really doesn't provide much security, being that it always breaks and everyone is capable of getting inside. The utility bill is ridiculously high - my roommates and I are very cautious about the lights and water and we continuously seem to run out of warm/hot water. You can hear your neighbors above, below and next to you. On the bright side, the appearance is nice… and they often have free food in the club house… maybe that's why we pay so much?

This has been a great college for a college student. I have enjoyed my stay as it is well cared for. In the future I will need a little more space than a one bedroom and would like to be in a more adult community structure. There are quite a few amenities that are appealing to people of all ages and is located not far from the colleges in our city. The gated entrance has proven a relief to my parents.

I enjoy living here! The rooms are very large, closets are HUGE, and I love the garden style bath tub. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear others conversations however, it is not unbearable. Lots of parking and the apartments are more of an upscale and luxurious style apartment home. Very easy to feel at home especially when you are in college and away from home. The pool is my favorite feature reminds me of a Vegas style pool with an upbeat atmosphere. Pretty nice gym small but doable and I don't play basketball but the indoor basketball court seems to bring out all the hot guys if you are single :). All in all this is a great place to live and I would recommend it.

West 10 has decent size apartments for my 4/4. There are many problems such as fruit flies, the internet is slow, there is mold on the air vents and other parts of the apartment, and the gate to get in and the speed bumps that directly follow the gate is very annoying. It does have good properties though, the neighbors are quiet and I can't hear anyone else through the walls in other apartments, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable with nice sized bathrooms, and the rent is relatively cheap compared to some of its nicer counterpart apartment complexes. It has bus routes on Tennessee street, which connects to west 10, and FSU is about 3 miles down the road on Tennessee street, along with TCC behind less than a mile away. All in all, west 10 is a nice place to live for a college student and would recommend it.

This apartment is completely over priced for the ameneties given here. The condition of the apartment is very poor. Little insects all over the place, it just is not worth the amount of money I am struggling to pay monthly. Please Help!!
