Management does nothing to address issues with other tenants. Neighbors smoke so much weed the entire building smells. It’s embarrassing! Neighbors also play music loudly at all hours. This place is a dump!

Not enough noise canceling insulation between floors. To much noise downstairs. Also the cooking smells that travel up stairs is unpleasant.

Maintenance Had my water heater replaced after having to listen to a very loud awful noise it produced from sun up to sundown. I moved into this unit from my old unit and this unit was supposed to be an upgrade although that wasn’t the truth as told to me. The water heater that was just replaced made this terrible noise as if there were rocks inside just bouncing around waiting explode. Talk about many sleepless nights having to try everything I can to drown out the loud noise. I work from home and would have to work in frustration listening to the noise from the water heater. After a couple of years it has finally replaced. I honestly had low hopes about it being addressed until I heard from maintenance that they would be coming to replace it. The maintenance technician was Eric and he’s addressed some other issues in my unit before and he always does great work and very professional. I’ve been at waterside since 2016 and I’ve seen so many staff members come and go from the front office to maintenance. I can assure you this whole time living in these apartments, Eric is the best maintenance technician I’ve see here by far. He’s very good at his job, very knowledgeable and beyond professional. I appreciate his hard work along with how he always explains everything with an honest and easy understanding.

I love my place My building is quiet, the office people have been more then kind especially Nikiyah. She went out in the snow to help with my Amazon packages and she is super professional maintenance men can asap and they were nice. I’ve had a great experience so far!

Garbage Disposal Repair The maintenance man that repaired my disposal was very professional and walked me through w what was wrong with it. I placed my maintenance request in on a Sunday after hours, and someone showed up on Monday to get me taken care if.

Love living here so far! Moved in about a month ago. I love living here so far. Quiet and serene in an almost park-like setting with large trees. Office staff has always been very professional and helpful. My maintenance requests have been handled in a reasonable amount of time. The apartment (2 bdrm) is roomy and has been remodeled. No bait and switch thankfully. My favorite part is the spacious open concept kitchen/living/dining area, large granite countertop in the kitchen, and walk-in closet in the bedroom. My unit came with a stackable washer/dryer combo that accommodates my queen size comforter set. Storage shed on the patio is a good size also. Community has a dog park, two pools, a fitness center with new equipment, and it's close to stores, restaurants, and Castleton Square Mall. School district is Lawrence Township as of this date.

As of December 2019, a new company took over the complex and they are horrible in every way! First, they no longer have online payments. Second, this complex staff does nothing about my new, incredibly noisy neighbors except refer me to the local police. Third, they have raised fees in order to make up for the previous company paying in arrears!!! Fourth, the new office staff is incredibly rude! If they hadn't have kept 2 of the old office staff, I would have broken my lease. Fifth, my window is still broken from a recent break-in attempt. I am irate about the new management. If things don't improve by the summer, I will be leaving my once beloved home to find a new place that feels like the community I used to enjoy at Waterside!
Cockroaches, terrible maintenance, awful customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have been in here for 7 years and have decided to keep staying due to I haven't ran into any problems with the apartment and the workers in the office are sweet and very helpful as needed.

We have lived here for one year, our lease is up next month. When we first moved it it was a nice neighborhood I felt safe walking around. And then I just decide to go out on my patio one day just to be essentially cat called by my downstairs neighbor. And now I’m even scared to go out on my balcony regardless. I would report the issue, but the office NEVER ANSWERS THEIR PHONE. EVER. I have literally called up to 20 times in one day, during the week, during business hours, multiple days in a row. And nothing. I went in to complain about this and just get told that that’s ridiculous and they haven’t gotten any calls, absolutely mind blowing that anyone in that office still has a job. Dog owners don’t pick up their pet droppings, I’ve called in about that multiple times just for nothing to be done. Pool has been closed for months, maintenance is absolutely terrible and ignore requests for days and weeks. And now, which was the final straw for me causing me to write this review, they send out these phone calls that say they are from Texas, it is an automated voice that updates you on anything they change regarding how to pay rent or anything that is going on with construction around the complex, which is fine whatever yes please keep me informed. But the past FOUR DAYS I have been woken up at 7:30 am or earlier to construction RIGHT OUTSIDE OF MY WINDOW, with squeaking every 5 seconds so loud that it echoes throughout the entire complex. I go to call to complain about this AGAIN but of course I get NO ANSWER!!!!!! This is a terrible place to live, and trust me I have tried so hard to give it SO MANY CHANCES. Screw this place, I am ecstatic to get out.
Do not move here the front office is terrible they never respond to maintenance issues and I’ve called 21 times also they have had mice issues they have yet to fix my apartment was broken into and they did nothing about these apartments are trash and are not worth the money

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I was supposed to move into the apartment 3/30/18. The apartment was supposed to be upgraded (appliances and carpet removed from breakfast bar). I went the day before to show a co-worker because I was excited about the apartment. When I went in the appliances hadn't been upgraded, the carpet was still on the wall, AND the apartment hadn't been cleaned or painted. The apartment was not move in ready. While I was in the office addressing the situation 6 residents came in with complaints stretching from money issues to foul smells in the buildings. The manager was very unhelpful and said I could move in and the appliances would be taken care of the first week I moved in. (I wasn't hopeful based on the tone already set) I was also made aware that my situation had already happened 4 other times in the same month!! Luckily, I was able to get out of my lease and decided to move in, I received my deposit back... but was unable to get my administrative fee and application fee ($200 in total).

I thought this would be a better place to live, given the rent price. Not so much. Ive been here less than a year and there has been two shooting in the complex. Many of the apts are used for rehab houses. My 7 and 4 year old have been forced to walk outside and see someone relapsing on more thsn one occasion. Not to mention the staff is next to useless. Brandi is the worse property manager ive ever had to deal with. No return calls, overcharging rent and fees, and yelling at residents on the phone. This place makes me want to go back to my old apt complex.
I have been a resident since 2008, I really enjoy living in the community. Every time I need repairs they are right on top of things, Like today my kitchen light would not work so I went down to the leasing office and within 2 hours my light was working. I have been here almost a year, it is quite good neighborhood. The apartments are very nice updated appliances. The office team is getting better. I would recommend this apartments.
I feel they charge for location. My apartment isn't worth what I pay a month. There's also a lot of reported robberies. The front office has not done anything to ensure the safety of the tenants.
Good low budget option for families that want a quieter place to live. There are issues with maintenance and things falling out of repair in the apartments, but the people/neighbors are friendly and the outdoor space is well kept. You can expect decent appliances but not new. The most serious issue we've encountered is water damage, which is routinely covered up but doesn't seem to get fixed. Awesome place to live for about a year.
