Restaurants

Begin your journey at Silver Saddle Steakhouse by enjoying the fresh salad bar. Then, indulge in the house favorite, a 24-ounce porterhouse steak bursting with hearty mesquite flavor. Accent the steak with baked beans, a baked potato or fries. If you opt for something even more sinful, try the restaurant's prime rib and Australian lobster tail or crab legs. In addition to the mesquite-themed food, the bar serves a wide array of beers, wines and signature cocktails. The Silver Saddle mud pie made with layers of chocolate ice cream makes the experience complete.

For some of the best sushi in town, locals go to Sushi Lounge on South 6th Avenue. Regulars recommend the spicy combo of tuna, salmon and yellow tail rolls. Complement your entree with miso soup or a side of edamame. This Asian-themed restaurant also has other non-sushi options, including the famous Mongolian beef dinner. Not sure what you want? Order the sample platter for a bit of everything.

Casa Molina, located on East Speedway Boulevard, serves phenomenal Mexican and Latin American cuisine. The restaurant is praised for the homemade salsa, and regulars suggest trying any of the enchiladas. With a cozy vibe and attentive staff, Casa Molina ranks as one of the best eateries in town.

A popular nightlife hub in the neighborhood, Zen Rock features current music and a diverse crowd. A VIP section and bottle service adds an upscale vibe. While this spot hosts various public events throughout the year, Zen Rock can also accommodate private events.
