I’ve lived here 1 year this month! The Management, Susan and Carlos, are absolutely the nicest people and extremely helpful and knowledgeable! The grounds are well kept, I have made friends here with my neighbors, it’s a peaceful area, beautifully shaded, the people that live here are friendly, and peaceful. And on top of all that and more, Walkers Ridge is located within just a few miles of convenience stores, lots of shopping, etc! You really don’t need to leave Gastonia to get all the things you need or want!

Thin walls, you can hear neighbors cough, normal level talking is heard easily. Smell food and other things via cheap thin walls. Mold outside and inside building.

Living in very close proximity to your neighbor does have challenges from time-to-time, such as hearing your neighbor above or beside you. Need to be updated and the manger isnt friendly. They dont want to fix any problems ! The apts are small and for the price you can find something a lot nicer . I wouldn't tell anyone to move in here you would be better off somewhere else !!
If you've ever wondered what living in the projects is like this is your place it's full of section 8ers who don't have respect for their neighbors the stairways and landings are filthy the siding has dirt, mold and mildew they busted a meth lab in one of the units last year. Since management changed it's really gone down hill maintenance takes a day to two days to respond. I've lived there 8 years and I loved it until the management change. They charge a premium price but you do not get what you pay for. They get one star only because I have to choose one.
What I like. About walkers Ridge Apartments very spacious lots of room for all my furniture .I live with my sister and my dad in his house there is not enough room in the house for all of us.I work at harris teeter and I'M trying to save money to move in to a nice place.I lost my house I would like to have a nice place to call my own home .

My husband and I have lived at Walker's Ridge for 3 years. It is an older complex, is a gated community, and is tucked away from the busy street. It is quiet and the people are friendly. We haven't had any major issues, but if we do have something that needs fixing, the maintenance guys are always there. The management has changed since we first moved in, but they are always friendly and working to keep the complex updated. This is a great family and pet friendly complex, and we are glad we chose this community 3 years ago.
