If you enjoy the big sky and open space of Texas past, you'll love the up-and-coming Rayzor Ranch neighborhood. The neighborhood began with the Rayzor Ranch Marketplace, a large shopping area that includes restaurants and large retailers. Much more development is planned, with over a million square feet of retail, dining, and residential space in the works. And with its proximity to the University of North Texas -- located on the southeast side of Rayzor Ranch -- this new neighborhood is destined to become one of Denton's favorites.
For those looking for the ideal commute into the city, Rayzor Ranch borders I-35, with University Drive running though the center of the neighborhood. The commute into Downtown Denton -- less than three miles away -- will take less than 10 minutes. Rayzor Ranch is also convenient to Texas Woman's University, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, and Denton Enterprise Airport.

Property Ratings at Vintage Pads
I am a graduate student and was living in a house before returning back to school so I had high expectations for an apartment. Vintage Pads and the staff at Denton Student Apartments exceeded my expectations! I have two dachshunds and they are very pet friendly plus I got an apartment with stained concrete flooring which is good for keeping a small place with pets clean. The wall are painted in nice colors instead of the boring white walls and the layout is very spacious for a one bedroom. The location is close to campus so I can walk to school. Best of all is the people that manage the apartment. Everyone is so nice and they do what ever they can to be sure you are happy. They are prompt with requests and I am so grateful I found this apartment!!!
Vintage Pads Apartment complex is one of many within Denton student Living company. It has accomidations for student residents who wany to live with a roommate in a furnished space, for students that want to try living completly on their own (me), or for individuals who are not students. The cozy apartments are suitable fits to any resident, of any age, without getting the feeling of living in a dorm. It is located in quite surroundings next to the hospital. This complex is pet friendly and just renovated the common area outside equipped with a dog park, an outdoor living space with a grill, and corn hole (or as I know it, bean bag toss). Residents can feel like they live in a "real/mature apartment" contrary to its surroundings in a college town. Multiple floor plans are available to fit one's life style.
I lived at Vintage Pads for a year and a half and I had absolutely no complaints. Staff was always helpful and maintenance never took too long. It's about a 15 minute walk from campus. It's also a nice, quiet area is you're more of a studious type that doesn't like a lot of noise coming from Fry or parties.
