Village Gate Apartments

Always paid my rent early and never had any complaints or damage. Told them the carpet was damaged when I moved in and they never came to look or fix it and then charged me 700 replace the carpet and didn’t want to take responsibility for the carpet. Hurricane ruined my roof and all they did was paint it.

They will find a way to get a fee for just about anything.

The grounds are kept clean. The apartments I have been in are in good condition. However saying it is a gated community doesn't give the full picture. The gate is automatic; there is no person there. And more times than I can count, I have been the first car at the gate, putting in the code to be let in. Cars behind me will simply follow without putting in any code. There's no telling who's being let in the complex. I have called management about this at least four times. There have also been two times that I have seen the gate left open for hours.

I will start with the positives - the apartment and neighbors were all nice although it is not located in the best location. The negatives are if you own a pet you can expect to lose/pay around $1,000 at move out to replace carpets even if there are no stains. We we're told they found stains under the carpet when they inspected the under-surface.

This place is nice to live at, with the pool and gym, but they will charge you for changing the carpet once you move out. They told us we had pet stains where there were none (examples: under couch that was never moved since move in, under bed that there was stuff under so dog couldn't fit under, in spare room under places where we stored boxes for entirety of our stay). On top of that, they told us that since they had a customer that was moving in soon after us, and would refund part of our rent- which turned out to be untrue, other person was moving in later and when we inquired about the refund they claimed they told us otherwise. They also cancel your access to Oates utilities when you start your move out, and bill you for it through them as move-out fees. If you get any utility bill refunds, keep it. Village gate wants it back. Total move out bill was well over $900. They say they're pet friendly but will screw you for it so they can get a free new carpet. I would give it one star, but if you're not a pet owner, you should be good because it is a nice place, with nice people(aside from screwing us out of a good chunk of money

I lived here for about 6 months during transitioning from houses from my divorce. Very peaceful area to live in and so very convenient to everything! Beautiful apartment homes and pool, the staff there is great, very nice as well as professional. I recommend this place to anyone, its also gated for added security, always felt safe there.

I have lived here for 4 years now and besides a great and helpful staff the area is very well maintained and the apartments are great. A year ago I was moved to an upgraded apartment where we now have all apartments with washer/dryer (supplied) and everything has been completely renovated. Stainless steel refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwave oven, etc. The cabinets are great and plenty of them. We have pines and walkways as well as a brand new club house, pool, barbeque areas, picnic tables etc. The new club house, with workout facilities and pool will soon be complete. We also have volley ball area, horseshoes, etc. The location is next to many medical and market facilities. It's perfect.

Village Gate Apartments is a great place to live. The residents here are very nice and helpful. Our community is gated for privacy and we have a security guard. The neighborhood is very peaceful and nobody causes any problems here. The apartment management people are very nice as well and they are available all week. The rent is very affordable here and the apartments are nice and well put together. I have never lived in such a great place And I don't plan on moving.

Village Gate in Fayetteville, NC is a community based on family orientation. When living in Billage Gate you are welcomed into this family that is only getting bigger. You walk into a function like you have known this community and everyone in it, all of your life. Village Gate goes above and beyond to make you smile and feel welcome AT HOME. When you walk into the office it like you are going to your grandmothers house with all your cousins and aunts there, there is always a welcoming smile. From the time of viewing the apartment to now, I have always felt right at home. For that I say thank you to Village Gate Apartments.

I love my apartment at village gate. 3118 apartment B It is very roomy love the large closet. They take care of the outdoors They send a maintenance ma to do what ever I need to have done. They offer intertainments, have a pool and are building a pool house and clubhouse. I really feel save because of the gate that nobody can enter without the entress card The place where it is located is close to everything particulary the hospital drugstore and groceries I would not live anywhere else

Hello my name is Reginald Manning and I am currently staying in Village Gates Apartments in Fayetteville N.C, I am really grateful for my apartment complex because they make sure the residents are always happy. Our apartment manager Marie always makes sure that there is something going on and even though they are rebuilding the clubhouse and torn down the pool there is a pool avaliable to us, the apartments are very spacious it gives my daughter and I alot of room to move around. Everyone is very friendly, I just love everyone there, they hold car washes, and cookouts, pool parties you name it.. they always make sure it's something is being done with us residents. When we first wanted to check out the apartments the office assistant Jessica took us around and was very friendly we immediately about the next month moved into the apartment and been here for a year. Village Gate Apartments are amazing.

I am new here an I'm happy my family and I chose the perfect spot, we are at the center of great restaurants, shopping areas, medical centers, banks... you name it, it surrounds us. Spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities, feeling safe in a gated community and though it's at the center of it all, its the most peaceful environment ever. it's like an oasis in the middle of the desert.

This apartment complex is very friendly and QUIET! Even though the hospital is located less than a mile away and there is an occasional helicopter flying over, this place is very nice! The staff is very friendly and never seems to have a bad day. They are very quick and attentive to your maintenance issues. Also each month is some planned activity...this month is an outdoor movie with a consession stand! It is a way for neighbors to meet and greet while being entertained at the same time. Being a recent resident of Fayetteville, NC I was in another apartment complex for three months. I am so glad that I found this apartment and totally love the sound of nothing! Village Gate Apartments community is the perfect apartment complex; close to the hospital, shopping centers, and great restaurants. The common areas are well maintained, and the staff is SUPER helpful and friendly. Love the monthly bulletins; and the Residents Appreciation week was the best- Thank you the staff of Village Gate Apartments- YOU are the BEST hands down.... Village Gate Apartments in Fayetteville, NC is the best hidden place to live either temporary or long term....

This is the perfect place to live, close to the hospital, many shopping centers and great restaurants. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home and make it an enjoyable place to live. The maintenance staff is prompt and thorough and offer helpful advice with a smile. With recent/ongoing renovations the property is very appealing and inviting. There is great outdoor walking space.

Village Gate apartment complex is located in an excellent school district and close to shopping centers. It's going to have its own LED lit swimming pool and a clubhouse, the construction is already underway and I couldn't be more excited.

We recently moved to Fayetteville, NC on a whim and found Village Gate Apartments online. The staff was very helpful in helping us get everything situated. They were so friendly and there for anything we needed. I was very particular as to all the ammentities that my wife and I were looking for. Because of that, I had to make several phone calls and emails to management prior to the move in date. Not because it was a lack of information on their end, but because I'm a very selective person. I thought for sure I was driving the management crazy, but they were very helpful and patient with my overwhelming self. Lol. Once we arrived, we noticed the complex is nestled in a nice little wooded area of pine, hiding itself away from all the hustle and bustle of Fayetteville. It's very conveniently located to all the stores and restaurants! I couldn't believe how easy it was to get to where you wanted to go. You name a store, and it's literally within a 5 mile radius. The first impression of the apartment was that it was extremely spacious and newly renovated. Before coming, I wasn't sure if our king size bedroom suite would fit in the bedroom, but there was more than enough room to fit everything. Each bedroom also had TWO spacious walk in closets. The kitchen had all new stainless steel appliances and tile, and the master bath had beautiful new tiling in the shower. The walking trails throughout the complex are perfect for nice strolls in the evening, and the neighbors are all very friendly. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is simply because the new pool and clubhouse are under construction. However, we were advised it would be completely ready for use by December. I can't wait for it to be finished!

Peace. That's what I feel when I come home to my apartment. Everything works the way I want it to. The whole community is quiet. People go for walks and say hello to you just to be friendly. I really feel at home and welcomed. I appreciate how helpful the staff is and how they handle every concern and problem professionally. I just want to say thank you to the Village Gate staff for being so outstanding!
