Property Ratings at VIDA LUXURY APARTMENTS
I have been overcharged multiple times. These have been resolved but with significant headache each occurrence. They offer the legal bare minimum for notice to entry (which they will do 2-4 times per year). When asked to accommodate in a reasonable manner like scheduling these at least 30 days in advance, or providing a 2-4 hour window for the inspection as opposed to the 8 to 72 hour window that they provide, they say it would be too much work for them. Amenities advertised to be open year round are often closed (multiple weeks out of the year). The gates seldom ever work and when they do, they are more trouble then they are worth. When I disputed a rule which they chose to enforce, none of my points were addressed and no evidence was provided to support their claims. It was escalated beyond their office and resident services continued this trend until they decided that the matter was "closed". No resolution was made and the door was shut in my face. I find their office to by unreliable, unprofessional, and unaccommodating. Avoid this place at all costs.

We understand you’ve expressed significant dissatisfaction in your review, and we take all feedback seriously. However, we must address the factual inaccuracies within your statement. We have already engaged with you on several of these points and have documented resolutions for each issue raised. To clarify our position and correct the record: Financial and Entry Notices: Your ledger has no other charges than what you signed for. Regarding notice of entry, we strictly adhere to all legal requirements. While we always try to be accommodating, we cannot commit to scheduling mandatory inspections with 30 days' notice or a guaranteed 2-4 hour window, as this is simply beyond our operational capacity. Amenities and Maintenance: The claim that our amenities are "often closed (multiple weeks out of the year)" and that our gates "seldom ever work" are not accurate. Our amenities are functional, and any closures are typically brief, scheduled for necessary maintenance, which we strive to handle as quickly as possible. Disputed Rules: Your dispute over a rule was handled through our standard, formal process. The matter was ultimately closed because, after review, the rule enforcement was found to be valid and in line with our community guidelines. We are committed to professional and responsive service. We regret that your perception of our office is negative, but we stand by our adherence to policy and the previous resolutions provided for these matters. We consider the specific issues detailed in your review to be resolved.
Ron and Sean on the maintenance team are always so quick to respond and help with whatever problems we have. We needed our microwave replaced and they did it at the exact same time I thought they were just coming to inspect it. Thanks for all your help! We’ve always loved living here but the staff make it that much better.
I am just moving into Reno, Nevada because of the work and I found this beautiful apartment complex and I am so lucky I found it because people are super friendly, nice and helpful also the area is very nice, clean, quiet, just perfect and prices are very affordable too. Thank You, glad to be your Neighbour! :)
For everybody here: prepare to pay 15% to 20% additional to whatever rent they are offering. They will tell you “and there are other fees, but we don’t know him much are those yet” it was a big lie. Firmest when I asked repeatedly an estimate of those “fees” they said around 100$ on top of all the other fees not reflected onthe price of the place you are planning to rent. I’m telling you. Prepare to pay 20% extra. If you sign the papers don’t ever say “I didn’t know”. Another dishonest business. This place will rent you an apartment showing you a descent picture of the place but don’t fall for that. Give yourself at least three more months to look for another places.
These places are not luxury living. Dont let management fool you cause they will. These apaprtments were built very quickly and have no sound proof walls. U want to here ur neighbor yawn fight and sneeze and sore all day come live here!!! I here my neighbors fight about drugs and who gave who an STD, and I'm not joking. They also allow unauthorized people to live here and they are the noisiest of all. It will sound as if your neighbor is living with you in the next room. How lovely. Good luck and hopefully u dont choose this place to live cause management does nothing!!!!!!!
Under staffed, unclean property Dog poop everywhere, over priced.
I rented at Vida from Aug 2021-Jan 2022. Over Christmas my apartment was ROBBED! When I reported the robbery to management they said the locks would be changed within an hour. Nobody showed up to change the locks so my apartment was unsecured until the next day. I even placed two emergency calls to Vida that night with no response. This place is poorly managed. During the winter they don’t remove snow in many areas creating very icy walkways and driveways. The development has electronic security gates which I thought would make it a safer environment but they are never closed! When I asked about the gates they said they’ve been broken. For six months? I would not recommend renting an apartment here it’s unsafe and poorly managed. I told my neighbor Michael about the robbery and he said that he’s had things stolen too- a package and his bicycle helmet.
