I moved in sight unseen (except seeing online) and once here, I asked maintenance about a couple of things and they were out same day to address them. Exceptional service! We have been searching for a two bedroom apartment within 15 miles of downtown Greenville under 1900 a month. Velo verdae seems to be the exact location we have been looking for. 1100+ square feet, fiber internet package, (vallet) trash, water, sewage bundled in there package. Lots of lighting in the rooms, walk in closet, spacious bathroom and bedroom, big kitchen with an island, etc… We toured the apartment and complex with Elizabeth who was extremely helpful and patient with our questions. We thank Elizabeth for her professionalism and listening intently and addressing our concerns and needs for the apartment.

Had a recent tour of a studio with Lexie! She did a great job providing all the details of the property and showing us all the amenities. We initially went to tour a studio and a one bedroom apartment. However, we were so impressed with the studio size that it wasn’t necessary to see the one bedroom. Would definitely consider as the neighborhood seems very tranquil and well kept.

I can't rave enough about your property and especially your staff. Not only is Velo located strategically for convenience, but also a very welcoming community. I would like to mention the staff member who not only made me comfortable touring but was very thorough explaining all the details surrounding becoming a resident at Velo. From the moment the tour began, Lex's professionalism was apparent. She obviously is an asset to Velo. Lexi is one of the reasons I chose Velo.

I visited Velo Verdae on 11/6/2024 with my family. Our leasing agent, Lexi D., was phenomenal. She was so professional and knowledgeable, and she noticed right away that I was uneasy when I saw the pricing. However, after she explained everything and went through every detail of what they offered, I was completely at ease. This place is immaculate! The community is quiet, and the people out walking their pets are friendly. The apartment home is absolutely beautiful with plenty of storage, granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and garden tubs. There is plenty of space for my daughter and I. Some of the homes have attached garages, so it feels more like a house. There is a clubhouse, a sports bar, exercise and weight rooms, and get this, a magnificent pool that is open year round from 10am until 10pm. They offer a car wash station and even have a walking trail behind the property, which is the Swamp Rabbit Trail. I have not stopped thinking about this place. It's the kind of home you want to brag about to your friends and family. Lexi D. will help anyone work it out to live in this beautiful heaven on earth! Thank you so much, Lexi D. The location is very close to CUICAR and shopping. The private access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail is also a huge plus for outdoor activity.

Love living here. The office staff is amazing. Maintenance team is always on point. Having 2 dogs, the dog park comes in handy. Open concept floor plans and big balcony’s. The manager, Danielle, always greets me with a smile and handles all request quickly. Close to downtown and all Greenville has to offer. Definitely recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about the office staff and maintenance team here. They are always nice and readily available. Glad to live somewhere in a good location and atmosphere. The swamp rabbit trail is right behind with direct access which is nice that they also have bike storage center I can use for free. The clubhouse is nice for events as well. They hold really good resident events and involve everyone.

Velo Verdae is amazing! Apartments are clean and spacious. Wood floors and granite countertops are awesome. Maintenance responds quickly and takes care of any problems. Location is incredible as well, with lots of greenery and almost direct access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The pool is huge and the gym has enough to be very convenient. However I do wish there was a little bit more parking spaces. Overall I cannot recommend Velo enough!

We are in a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath with a balcony and a garage! There is a car care station where you can wash your car and vacuum it. What 'sealed the deal' is that Velo Verdae is pet-friendly! There are clean-up stations throughout the neighborhood. Also, they have a dog park with a pet washing station. Highly Recommend.

I’ve given Velo a 4 Star review bc I feel like 3-3.5 is to low considering it is a very nice complex with a very nice community of people who are friendly and polite when seen, an make u feel safe. The issues I have with Velo consist within “Maintenance” I have nothing against the Employees who perform the work but with the fact of what work has been needed within just a year. I’ve had non stop issues with the dyer, the window seals in my bedroom leak and have caused water damage do the dry-wall. As far as the appliances go I feel they’re cheap. I’ve already had a Drawer handle pull off from the drawer which would indicate cheap quality. (The Nails Pulled out of the Particle Board the cabinets are made of) and a hinge broke in my bathroom. Also when I first moved in every outlet in the apartment began to push away from the wall and I had to have maintenance come in and fix them. . I’ve never been rough with things an take good care of the apartment as far as cleaning and not slamming things. I feel for the money I’m paying a MONTH I shouldn’t be having these issues in general. ESPECIALLY with how the complex is advertised I’d expect top tier things within the apartment I RENT. It’s certainly not cheap living here. As far as everything else goes I’d recommend this complex for any new family’s or anyone starting off alone. It has a nice pool! A great walking trail just next door, food lion is also next door making grocery runs hassle free. They also have a dog park with washing station if you have a dog. They have a nice gym for anyone looking to get exercise in. There is also a Car washing Station next to the dumpster. Water pressure is good and makes washing the car much, much easier. -Overall VELO has done well. -Whoever contracted the construction I’d have more to say to them personally. Only because it’s what I do for a living.

Me and my pup love living here. we can hop right on the swamp rabbit trial. The location is unmatched. Danielle the community manager is very attentive and the best i’ve worked with. the whole office team is top notch. really an unbeatable place to live!

This is the first place my fiancé and I have lived in since we graduated college. We were welcomed by Kayla at our tour and treated nicer than at any other property we toured. Our apartment was exactly what we expected and move in was a breeze. Management and maintenance always respond in a timely manner and fix any request right away. I recommend Velo to anyone searching for a new community.

Other reviews pretty much sum it up. Management used to be great, but new management is horrendous. Parcels aren’t accepted by the office anymore. Things that were never issues (disposing of cardboard, placing bulk trash outside door) have become issues. There was a shooting, and management took 36 hours to notify residents of the shooting. I found out about it on the news long before I got word from complex management. And to boot, rent has gotten pretty unreasonable. Can’t wait to move out. Sad this place has gone so downhill.

We’ve lived here for over a year now and when we first moved in the apartment was great and management was wonderful. This was a large part of our decision to renew our lease after the first 13 months. However, we’ll be moving at the end of this term. The property is now under new management and I couldn’t agree with the prior reviews more. There is no parking anymore. They made about 1/3 of the spaces “Reserved” and now charge extra for them. A lot of these spaces still go unrented but management regularly sends out emails to remind us that we will still be towed if we park in the unrented spaces. The ladies in the office are still very sweet but they no longer accept packages, they took the printer out of the business center, and our maintenance requests have gone unanswered for about 2 months now. The new management definitely has a money grab feel to it so we’ll be finding a new place to call home.

When I signed for Velo Verdae, the office WAS open every day. They USED TO take parcels and emailed you so you'd know you have one to pick up. You COULD park on any parking spot you see. None of is this true anymore, but don't expect to see prices going down. Much less service, same cost. The office is now closed on Sunday. We've just been emailed that the office no longer takes parcels (it really makes me wonder what I pay them for?). Several parking spots are now 'reserved parking' which costs extra. Like the reviewer below said, it's just a money grab. I would advise looking for another apartment in town as you'll find much better service for a comparable price. It's a pity that management is making a series of disastrous decisions as the location is convenient and the apartments are in a good condition. There was potential.

Apartments are great and the amenities are worth the money, but parking has been a nightmare since the start and has only gotten worse since the new ownership company bought this place. Velo starting giving the option of reserved parking that you have to pay for, so they have taken away even more parking for residents. It's a total money grab and a complete joke. Apartments in Greenville are a dime a dozen and all of them are clean and have great amenities. Good luck keeping residents when you nickel and dime everyone who lives here. I will not be renewing the lease and 95% of it is because of the parking situation. If you live in the back of the complex and you get home from work after about 5:30 you're going to have to park halfway across the complex.
