My overall experience with University Village has been mixed. On one hand, they’re usually pretty decent about responding to emails and maintenance requests. Communication isn’t perfect, but they do get back to you in a reasonable amount of time, which I appreciate. However, I had ongoing issues with their pet-screening process, especially regarding my emotional support animal. Even after providing the proper documentation, I felt like they weren’t truly listening or understanding what was already submitted. There were moments where it seemed like they didn’t fully grasp or respect HIPAA guidelines, and I had to repeat myself or explain things that should’ve been handled more carefully and professionally.

Super cheap and pretty nice. Its $350 a month, and you get more than you expect. Quality? its a $350 a month apartment, walls are thin, and nothing is very high quality. But its 350/mo I like the place.

When I moved into my apartment nobody cleaned it before I got there so there were just balls and clumps of hair all over my room, in the closet, bathroom had hair everywhere on the sink, in the tub and I had to do a deep clean beck had no idea what was happening. My bathroom sink is clogged and has been since I moved in I just haven’t had time to put a request in. So my over all experience hasn’t been to well. I have had to order uber multiple times to get to school on time because the bus would randomly shut down. But I understand stuff like that pops up.

I love living here, the maintenance team takes care of concerns very quickly and I have always been able to walk into the office to get assistance very quickly since I moved in a few months ago. They're very understanding and helpful.

It’s been good so far. The living spaces come nice, though better cleaning before you move in would be appreciated. The maintenance situation is not great though. I had a backed up tub and it was not draining for 3 days (I had to use my roommates) and they never came even after I called 2 times. That was a big issue

One of the main reasons for choosing UV was the shuttle bus; it's mentioned on the website that the bus works till 6 pm, but that doesn't seem to be true. This is causing such a huge inconvenience for me. The only thing I like about UV is that everyone who works in the front office is helpful.
I like living here a lot. The apartment is nice for the price and I like the community events thrown, but there seems to be issues related to rent nearly every month. They always get dealt with, but it's a bit of a pain to deal with once a month.
It has been great living here very peaceful and the staff are nice I toured the neighborhood and the community is clean. I always have a place to part so thats a plus
Overall very quality. I’m close to very convenient places like ruler, best buy, and fast food. My roommates have been great and the apartment hadn’t had any maintenance issues yet. Sometimes the age of the area shows with the cobwebs and other things, but thats minor.

The place is beautiful inside, and it was a safe environment for my ESA. The staff is sufficient at getting to requests for maintenance as well as working through issues with Roomates if need be.

So far I've had a good experience with staff, but I'm really disappointed with the amenities. One of the main things that drew me here and made me feel like my rent was worth paying was the fact that there was a running shuttle bus, a pool, a computer room, and a gym. The very first day of class the bus wasn't even running, and afterwards they completely limited the schedule so it's super inconvenient. They never once opened the pool... When I first moved in, I didn't even receive a keycard to the gym or computer room. Although that issue has been resolved, I'm still disappointed with the company. I love my apartment and want my friends to move in with me next year, but if these issues aren't resolved I'll definitely be considering somewhere new.

Moving in from off campus, UV was definitely the right choice. All the rooms are spacious, there's a balcony, and the staff are friendly and respectful. UV's conveniently walkable to local and chain stores. I stop by the clubhouse frequently (mainly coffee--there's free coffee), and the staff remember me. If I've had a question, they've always answered it or contacted someone who knew. There's secure package lockers for a one time $5 fee, and they're very convenient. You unlock it by tapping a button in an app. The bus schedule's shorter than published (stops running at 3pm), but I think that might be temporary and there's a free MITS bus that stops at the apartment too (runs til like 6pm-ish). Maintenance is always respectful, professional and typically fast, but there could be more maintenance staff. I've had one request that was open for six days before my Dad came into town to fix it. Overall, though, maintenance is very quick (two to three days max), that request was an outlier.

Our new apartment isn't exactly what I expected or maybe ?? it is. There are a few things that were overlooked and unfortunately; the pool is currently down which is very disappointing. That said it’s still a new place so I don’t want to be too negative. The staff has been very nice and helpful so far which I really appreciate. One downside is the noise from my upstairs neighbors they can be pretty loud but I guess that's part of apartment living.

I enjoy the space and my own bathroom. I finally feel independent and a young adult. I also enjoy having a washer and dryer in the apartment.

I was told I would be on the first floor and the day I picked up the key they said I was on the 3rd floor. I asked about roommates before I moved in and was told I would be emailed and received nothing but have roommates in my apartment. Nothing went as planned

The apartment was so gross when we moved in. They do not clean in between tenants. The pool is always closed, and they have no interest in fixing problems with swipe cards. Maintenance takes at least 3 days to fix anything.

Well the place is really great the only thing I would say is the pool is rarely open and the apartment has a couple damages we put a request for.

Moving in was a really smooth and easy process, but I had to get my key reprinted and go to the office later to ask for a parking pass that was supposed to be included in my folder. Those are really minor issues since not everyone has cars, so it's understandable that they didn't pass them out to everyone.

i love my apartment and the location! very spacious and cozy. only thing i had an issue with was how dirty it was when i moved in. other than that which was an easy fix i love it.

I was initially placed into a room that was not completely cleaned and turned from the previous tenant, which was frustrating. I was moved to another room that was clean, however was not on the floor I wanted.

Great amenities, wifi and bus are down a lot. Staff communication is okay. Do love the giveaways and events, just wish they’d announce the winners of the giveaways!
