The garage doors are always broken allowing random people to drive inside. There have been so many car break-ins and vandalisms.
After living here for over two years, it’s clear management cares more about filling units than taking care of the people already living here. Every time there’s an issue, management blames someone else — contractors, delivery drivers, even residents — but never takes responsibility.
I have lived here for 4 years and this place has gotten progressively worse. There is trash everywhere, broken bottles, rats, etc. They allow smoking and it’s a smoke free community. Overall the experience was amazing year 1 and It feels like a low budget housing unit now.

I feel bad writing this because I have no real issue with management or the building itself but the building has become ratchet. I talk with people in the neighborhood when I walk my dog and Trove is referred to as the party building. The traffic outside of the front of the building is terrible and people have crashed into my car where it’s parked. Trove rents out the sky lounge to parties basically every week and there’s alway obnoxious people who don’t live in the building. I witnessed a verbal altercation at the gym the other day. There’s another guy who regularly host physical training sessions at the gym with clients. I hate what this building has become over the last year because it wasn’t like this when I first moved in
Love limited access to the rooftop? Love parties 24/7 like a Frat House? Love constant weed in the air? Love people running personal businesses out of community space? Love personal trainers in the gym? Love pet owners leaving dog waste all over the grass AND INSIDE ALSO! Then the Trove is the place for you. Come on through to a place that has zero control over the residents as the Attorneys says all is legal.
The staff here are very friendly and efficient. I am very pleased with the community, it's cleanliness, and how convenient the location is. I'm always excited when telling about or showing my home to my friends and family.
Beautiful place to live in, pet friendly, convenient location, and good stuffs. I’d recommend anyone who wants to live in Arlington. I never had any bad experiences.
Great luxury living environment. Quiet, clean, convenient. I’ve recommended this location to a few people to consider moving here. Very close to DC without the noise and rush of the city
Trove has been good. I appreciate the amenities. The shuttle has been very helpful. However after my first year my rent increased by about $400. I thought that was unreasonable given people can move in today to the same apartment I have for $500 less than I’m paying. I just felt blindsided as the notice of rent increase and renewal went out later than usual which didn’t allow alot of time for planning.
Loved it!! it has been 2 years for me here and no complain so far it is excellent experience, clean pleasant and love how neat the building is.
I been living here for a year now!! I’ve had a great experience not one complaint. I wish the rooftop was open a little longer and start the food trucks again. Other then that i love it here and everyone is super friendly!
This is my third year living at Trove and it has been nothing short of a wonderful experience. There are so many perks you get by living here, one of my favorites being a free shuttle service to DCA Airport!
I love my place. The main selling feature was the gym. I cancelled my memberships soon as I moved in. The roof is beautiful and everyone including the staff is so friendly. I got lucky to get a east facing apartment with lots of light. I work from home so designed it perfectly to my personality and needs. This place is truly my sanctuary!
I like this building except for the noise from my neighbors. Brand new building with a nice rooftop, and the swimming pool is not deep enough, unfortunately.
I was wary of moving here with the negative reviews, especially moving here from another country with a small child, however, I am so happy that I chose to live here. The management team and concierge are always super helpful and my maintenance requests are actioned so quickly without a fuss! The common areas are clean and tidy and I never see any trash lying around or any bad odours (cigarette smell ETC) like other reviews mention. The amenities here are AMAZING, especially the gym and the massive top floor entertainment/common area. The secured package room and lockers are super helpful especially with trying to furnish an entire apartment. I haven't had any issues with noise since being here which was one of the issues previously noted that I was wary of. I think i've maybe heard loud music and talking once however this was barely heard once all the windows were closed. I believe management has done a great job to turn the noise issues around. I feel safe and secure in my apartment and love the features. The shuttle to the metro is also super handy!! I looked at many apartment complexes before settling on Trove and I highly recommend!!

Building and amenities is just as beautiful as the photos! I agree with a lot of the review about management but the new staff member Kevin that sits at the front desk has changed my experience to a much more positive experience. For example I see Kevin helping everyone solve their problems such as locating and organizing packages. He greets people and creates an atmosphere of care that wasn’t here before. All the residents stop by to see him and get help. My satisfaction here definitely increased since he joined.

This building pulls you in with the nice amenities, but living here is a nightmare. Dirty, loud, unsafe, and filled with disrespectful residents.

I like this building the location and maintenance. However I cannot understand why a good building would have the worst concierge. poor behavior, not wiling to answer questions. From my perspective totally unprofessional.

Management at this new building with paper thin walls is awful. They are very disorganized and the walls are paper thin I can't sleep some nights.

I recently moved into the Trove apartments from Los Angeles and doing a cross country move is not easy at all and it hasn’t been that’s for sure. From The beginning I was intrigued by the property being that it’s new and have killer amenities which was big for me. The staff though was really amazing, I got a good FaceTime so I had an opportunity to see my unit prior to moving and getting here it looked exactly the same and staff was just as nice in person as they were over the phone.

I do not recommend Trove to any prospective resident. From the beginning, Trove and its staff consistently gave me a hard time and it all comes down to poor management and planning. I could honestly write a book about the numerous issues, but I'm keeping it short. First, there was no Internet so our service provider, Verizon, came to install the Internet service. The Trove team had no floor plans with the location of the main cable box or any keys to the various rooms in the building. The service technician had to use a screwdriver to open each door while the Trove staff and I watched. This was exhausting for the service technician and there is no excuse from Trove to not have any knowledge about the building they are renting. Secondly, Trove had many issues with the legal address of the building. There was no sign at the front door with the address number (which is illegal) and the address was not recognized in the central database used by the government and mail delivery vendors. Our packages were delayed or missing because no one could find the building. Trove's response was that mail carriers should use "word of mouth" to have carriers let other carriers know the location instead of addressing the address issue with the county. In another incidence, the police also couldn't find the address - which does not enforce safety in the community if safety services can't find the building. The building is also constructed with poor material and you can hear sounds from everywhere. We also had an extremely noisy tenant above us and Trove took no action to stop this. The elevators were constantly broken and we were never notified about the outages. This lack of action and accountability shows Trove's poor management. The Trove team is not reliable or trustworthy. The staff come and go so quickly. If there is an issue, like the many we raised, the staff works together to blame the resident for bringing the issue to them. They try to pose as the perfect building and staff, but in reality, they try to bury their issues by having their own staff review the building (the district manager even rated Trove to be 5 stars and the property manager thanked them for the review). I highly recommend you find another place to live.
