Newcastle enjoys a strong reputation as one of the finest communities in the Seattle area, and the neighborhood at the heart of this Lake Washington suburb cultivates an environment that balances suburban tranquility with superb amenities. Coal Creek parkway forms the backbone of Downtown Newcastle, anchoring a business district that includes a number of locally-owned businesses: pick up some choice cuts at B & E Meats & Seafood, savor the Taiwanese cuisine at Yea’s Wok, or enjoy a casual meal at Jet City Pizza.
The area surrounding this cluster of businesses is full of upscale homes and apartment communities, with options available to suit any taste and lush greenery offering privacy and seclusion. Living in Downtown Newcastle, you’ll enjoy prime access to some of the area’s favorite outdoor attractions: The Golf Club at Newcastle and the Coal Creek Natural Area are practically right next door, and Cougar Mountain is only a short drive, bike ride, or hike away.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Tria Apartments
There were frequent car break-ins in the parkling lot. The apartment management pretended that was not exist. They didn't warn residents at all so more people had the lost. Those could be avoided when people find more secure places to park or have wheel lock if they got warned. The apartment management only cared about your cash but not you.

Current Resident, stay far away !!!!!!!! I have lived here 4 years and have had my vehicles in parking garage broken into 3 times and last night all my bikes were stolen and of course they never find anything on video which is unreal. They let endless Marijuana smoke go on and domestic assault and never do anything. The weed smoke lingers in hallways and in our apartment and my daughters room who is 11 smells like a weed shop. Unacceptable. This place used to be great but now is terrible. They have a skeleton staff and they don't care at all place is ran down and office is normally closed during business hours. Everyone is moving out and everyone I talk to in here says they can't wait to get out of here. They allow aggressive dogs, almost got attacked by a pit bull then I told management about it. They didn't do anything then the same pitbull chased after me and my daughter 3 days later and we ran into locked access. Owners couldn't control dog that was twice there size. Overall the worst place I have ever lived and you think in Newcastle this kind of thing wouldn't happen. Save your money, time, valuable items, and safety and take them anywhere but here. Just want to prevent anyone else from having to live in this nightmare.
The apartment is nice, the vibes and surroundings are all great. But the property management team needs more training. The property manager is always changing. They will charge you an excessive amount of money after you moved out even though you hired a cleaning company and cleaned everything by yourself. They sent me an email asking for the fees ALMOST TWO YEARS AFTER I moved out of the apartment and I have already moved out of the country! This is absolutely ridiculous and I do NOT recommend this place. Newcastle is incredibly lovely but I had a horrible experience here.

Your trash will over flow and stink the hallways, the apartment was built cheap so it has super thin walls and floors. Your hear every step, movement and conversation of your neighbors. Doesn't matter what apartment you arer in. All tenants here complain about loud noise. Staff is terrible you will be miserable here I promise. Do yourself a favor and live anywhere but here.

The apartment is newly built. I did not have any problems with the appliances or my parking space. Beware of the management and the lease terms though. Expect to pay surprising fees. And don't clean your apartment when you're leaving because they're gonna charge for cleaning regardless of whether you cleaned it or not!
