Tremont

The move in process and communication could be better but once you’re there it’s a great place to be!! The kitchen storage is a little small but still great and bigger than college dorms lol.

I haven’t started living at the Tremont, but I’m very excited To be in the apartment this August. We had a bumpy start regarding getting all of the proper verification completed. However, communication was clear and consistent.

It is a nice and quiet area. Very pet friendly, but I feel like there are lots of fees and hurdles associated with it. They also have lots of giveaways and stuff so that's a neat bonus.

Place is nice enough, doesn't cost too much but. There will be repair charges when moving out so keep that in mind. Amenities are good as well, but utilities can get expensive if you are the only on in the unit

I've enjoyed my past three leasing terms with Tremont. I love the quiet of not being downtown, but there still always being apartment events. Maintenance over the past couple years has greatly improved as well, my requests are dealt with almost immediately!

I love living at tremont! Everyone is super nice and friendly, and the apartments are fully furnished, spacious and have everything you need.

I love everything about Tremont! The staff is great, the location is great, and the apartments are very cozy. I love all the events and giveaways the office does and they are always super friendly and welcoming! Maintenance is phenomenal and always gets my repairs done super quick!

Very nice staff. They are always planning fun events for the residents of the community. Apartments are a little older but still very nice inside.

Overall, the apartment and the community is nice. One problem, though, is the price of utilities. I lived in a State College townhouse much bigger than this apartment prior to moving to Tremont and paid $15 in utilities per month. Here, I am paying over $80 some months for utilities...that is more than my parents pay for their entire house. Since there are only 3 of us and we are pretty conservative with our heat and hot water usage, there is no reason for it to be this high and completely cancels out the "cheap rent." At this rate, I could have gotten a nicer apartment somewhere else for the same price because they wouldn't be charging an arm and a leg for gas.

Although I have not moved-in yet, I am very excited to be living at Tremont. The apartments are well-designed and taken care of. The apartments are also very close to nearby stores and food places. Overall, Tremont has some of the better apartments/places in the State College Area.

It’s just lovely to say the least! The amenities, the community and the leasing staff are wonderful. They always have giveaways and really nice events too! I renewed for next year!

It's loud at my building at night and I get woken up frequently be neighbors but it's okay. The events they do are fun however rather silly to have so many noon events knowing your audience is students who go to school during the day.

Having free bus, laundry, and parking are pluses. Pool area is not well maintained and staff can be disorganized. Maintenance often leaves lights on an windows open, but generally solves the problem quickly. Overall, worth the rent.

My apartment is super cozy, and spacious. I love the gym and study room as well. They are well stocked and nice spaces to be in. I really like being here!

maintenance is really good at fixing things quickly and the staff at the office are very nice. gym equipment is a little out of date and could use some work

Maintenance is always helpful and all the staff in the office is really nice as well. i haven’t had many issues with the apartment except some minor things.

Love the location, and all the activities that are provided. The apartments are high quality and maintenance is also very quick and efficient.

There is a lot wrong with my unit, more things keep going wrong, the rent keeps going up, utilities are expensive, my unit has flooded multiple times, the heat stopped working in the middle of winter, there’s mold. BUT it is cheaper than most other places, and the bus pass is nice for someone with no car. The pool is nice but rarely clean. The hot tub hasn’t worked in years. The gym is very low quality.

I genuinely see a lot of potential here. Nice facilities, good location, spacious rooms, recently renovated. However management is quite poor.

I love living here! Surrounded by nature, snowy views in winter, and the best part—there’s a bus stop just a short walk away. So convenient!!

Nice area to live in. It's quiet and close to many stores. University is minutes away. The staff in the office are very helpful. Maintenence response time is okay. Not the fastest, but not the worst. The office likes to be involved with the resident community, so there are many events that the office holds.

The apartment is generally okay. Since moving in, I've appreciated the prompt and friendly customer service. The staff are always helpful and cheerful. One day, my glasses fell out of my pocket, and a maintenance staff member who saw them picked them up and went out of her way to return them to me at my apartment. I was grateful, as those were my reading glasses, which are essential to me. However, my main concern is the issue with bugs. I've noticed quite a few in my living room, along with wasps, and I'm unsure of where they're coming from. My roommate has submitted several maintenance requests about it, but nothing has been done so far.

Love the space and layout of the apartments. The location is far from campus but close to all necessities. Additionally the events and free things are also awesome.

Really good but a lot of maintenance issues. Fast response the pool is never open and when it is, it’s always green and sickly looking. Lots of bugs

Tremont is in a great spot, just off campus but close to everything you need. It has awesome amenities like a gym and study spaces, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. There are fun events throughout the year, so it’s easy to meet people and feel at home.

It’s relatively cheap but they keep raising rent and my unit in particular has a laundry list of problems that they keep putting a baindaid on instead of actually fixing. It does have a pool and a gym and come with a bus pass which is very nice

Apartment was dirty when we arrived and had some major issues. Overall an okay place to live. Once I’ve settled in it became better but still has some basic issues

Maintenace can be a little slow but overall it is a nice complex. The pool would be a great place to hang out if staff took better care of the water, but other amenities like the volleyball court are pretty nice.

Tremont definitely has a lot to offer and keeps getting better and better the more time I spend here! The apartments are pretty great considering the cost, the location is perfectly situated near many stores/restaurants, and the staff is super friendly. It has a few imperfections but for the most part it is the perfect place to call home!

it’s been good but the gym equipment needs upgraded or fixed especially. treadmills have been broken for months and would be good to fix and have more

move in was super easy. just had to show my id and was given my keys to my apt, room and mailbox, along with bus pass and parking pass. originally my key to my apt didn’t work but they fixed almost right away!

Great maintenance , good at communicating with me. Answered all my questions without any problems. Wonderful staff and apartment is beautiful and spacious.

where i am living is not what i was expecting to compared what i saw in the tour. we have made it feel homey, but i overall i feel extremely disappointed and almost uncomfortable about the way this all went down.

I had very few problems with the Tremont until about the second year of my lease. First, the wifi still is very. spotty at times. Second, the power bills are posted inconsistently, leaving residents to pay power bills at odds times in the month or paying two months at once. Third, the front office is very unhelpful and lacks any kind of helpful communication. If you have questions for the office, they are usually very short with you and generally unhelpful. I have also had problems with packages not being delivered or not being processed correctly- delaying my ability to receive important items. Overall, the only reason I stayed at the Tremont was price but since they raised rent that truly isn’t worth it anymore. If I had known how quickly things would go downhill before I renewed for my third year, I would’ve moved.

It’s good. specifically the environment around and the helpfulness of the members. It’s a good place for students to be a part of. Overall its great.

I love tremont! It’s a friendly and open space. There is a lot to do with other residents and the pool is a very nice touch to have there. I like the gym too.

So far I have liked staying at tremont, I do find that with maintenance it would be nice to know when they are entering apartments, my last apartment complex, it was within a day or two of fixing so it wasn’t really questioned, but we have had a few times we’ve waited a while so if that’s the case, a way for maintenance to notify us like tremont sends alerts would be a great idea. Other than that I have no issues, the amenities are great and the experiences they give their residents with pop-ups and freebies is awesome.

The Tremont is a great housing option for anyone sophomore year to senior year of college and it is decently priced. The apartments all got renovated recently, so it is priced good and it is nice!

Great community, amenities, and events. Tremont always try’s to get their residents involved by hosting monthly events and give aways. Overall, it’s a great place to live!

I’ve only taken a tour but it seems like a great pace for my studies. It is a quiet community and the few people I have met that live there have been very welcoming and nice. Can’t wait to spend my last two years of college at Tremont!!

My stay at the apartment was fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. The place was impeccably clean, modern, and beautifully furnished, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed internet, and a cozy living area that made it feel like a home away from home.

I will be signing my 3rd lease here at Tremont and I must say I love my apartment. It is very homey, I love having my own spacious room with a large closet. The in unit washer and dryer is very nice. My apartment just got renovated and while there are some quality issues, I was assured that everything will be fixed before they are done. For the price, it’s a fantastic college apartment that’s a nice place to come home to every night after a hard day at school.

I really like Tremont and I especially like the free visitor parking; it makes it a lot easier to have guests over. The staff seems to be pretty helpful and I really like the sand volleyball court.

I have sincerely enjoyed my experience at Tremont! The staff is absolutely fantastic and they are always willing to bend over backwards to help you! The location is fantastic and there are so many nearby stores and businesses!

Amenities are pretty good. Nice apartments for a nice price. Quiet area which also adds to overall experience! It's a very comfortable place to be. Great stores within minutes of apartment

The community is quiet. The units are good but kitchen space is not adequate for 4 people. The heater makes a lot of noise. There are tons of events happening every week!

The process of signing mi lease has been very nice. As a foreign student is hard to find a place that offer security in the very start. Hopping to enjoy this experience.

I have loved living at the Tremont. It is in a great community and very close to everything you need! Only 10-15 drive to campus and most of the staff are friendly and helpful
