Property Ratings at Townhomes of Bent Tree
This is by far the worst apartment experience ever in my life. The building is old but trying to maintain this place with such high rent fee with all the other additional fees. Roaches everywhere, oh they also like to tow your car FYI.
I actually live here, they have bots giving them five star reviews for walk ins, have you ever heard of oh if you move in 3 days after your well wave admin fees, yeah because once you sign the lease youre screwed, this place is 1 start at best
They are shady, will give you notices to fix in 24 hrs and even if you fixed it they will charge you. I got charged 418 dollars for a grill on balcony they gave me 24 hrs to fix yet on my rent they charged me 418. It took over a month to figure it out.and still blame me for this. Yet they won’t give me a detailed bill for this.
I moved here in May this year and while the the unit is updated ish... the water pipes and laminate wood tend to raise an eyebrow.. I'm sure maintenance is OK but have had 4 work orders regarding toilet plumbing issues..out of order.. for over month.. no one has been here to remedy. This whole summer the pools were out of order and our water is turned off 3 times cause of water leaks from various units. I wish I hadn't moved here honestly. I'm so sad and frustrated.
I have been living here over a year--several leasing managers have come and gone in a short amount of time, unfortunately it also means that no one is dealing with the CAT AMMONIA smell from a neighbor. My complaints start before COVID so I am living with this smell for approx two years. I don't like giving a business a bad review but I think I have waited long enough at this point, THEY WONT actually CLEAN THE AMMONIA OUT--they just tell the neighbor to "clean up" and leasing staff moves on. If you feel you never need anything as a resident then ok place to live if you need them to take ACTION then that is where you may be left disappointed
Lots of extra fees, I have to constantly manage my account to make sure the charges are even correct. Mail room gets broken into pretty often and if the front desk has your package you never get notified. Garages are nosey and shake your apt when they open below. Pool is always dirty. Maintenance does a terrible job at actually fixing things and does not clean up after themselves. The apartments themselves are OK, you can find better in the area.
Bad place to live. There’s mold in the air vents, maintenance people slam doors and ignores your request to close doors gently. Trash doesn’t always get picked up and you’ll get fined if you leave unpicked up trash out. Mail sometimes gets mixed up or missing altogether. I do not recommend living here.
They offer prizes for writing a good review so dont trust the good ones. The previous company that owned this property was great. This new one is terrible. they cannot keep managers and have had 5 different ones in 8-10 months. Work orders can take up to three weeks to get completed. The pools are always closed because they are green. Trash bags get thrown by the dumpster and stacked up- it smells for days. People have HUGE and AGGRESSIVE dogs including at least 3 different people with mastiffs. The managers will charge you unexpectedly for random things and then refuse to take the charges off. I lived at this property for 3 years and it has gone down hill. DO NOT MOVE HERE
