I am writing this on behalf of my mom. They have lived there for 15 years. They have never had any problems until about 2yrs ago. They have people in the office that are unwilling to help a person that is blind. They moved them out of their apartment and put them in a demo while doing work on theirs. The demo apartment has no air, it has been in the 90s for a while they have been in there for almost a week now. The ladies in the office leave early because they have no air in the office but can let your tenants have no air and not help them. My mom went to the office and asked for help reguarding how to use the new system for paying rent. The lady didn't really want to help her. My mom had a money order for the rent and they told her she couldn't pay with that anymore. So now they charged them a $100 late fee. This place is a poorly run business. They only care about getting money and not taking care of how the place looks or how it is run.
????Management there is HORRIBLE I'd advise Noone to try to rent there. Workers never answer the phone they don't never be in office worst place ever. Management there are lazy, unprofessional, rude, lying individuals. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. DONT WASTE YALL MONEY APPLYING THEY HAVE A NO REFUND POLICY....SEEK HOUSING ELSEWHERE FOR REAL! ????
Towne Oaks Apts has the worst service I have ever dealt with in terms of leasing facilities. They are almost NEVER in their office during marked office hours. They DO NOT answer their phone calls during marked office hours. Their maintenance staff does not complete emergency maintenance or do any follow up on emergency issues. I’m going on a week without a working stove and a clogged and leaking sink (which I have tried fixing with using a drain snake to no avail). I would not recommend living here unless you like looking out your window to see FBI detaining people on your porch and preventing you from leaving your building and you want to be unable to cook or use the dishwasher or wash your hands.
I applied and was told I wasn't approved because they are not a "2nd chance property". I owed another complex that had been paid off. Based on the number of Disturbance in Progress calls I see on the LRPD Dispatch log - I'm glad they are not a 2nd chance property.
Did not even get two steps in the door and was yelled by a lady asking for me to wear a mask. Ironically, she was not wearing a mask herself and did not tell me when I called in to schedule an appointment. She told me to reschedule my appointed time because of me not having a mask. It's 2022 and there are vaccines available. I did not even want to tour the apartments because she was so rude and hypocritical. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Worst place to stay in LR!!! So freaking trashy! I moved here a month ago and they still not giving me my mailbox key because the lady that does the keys is never there, they will play with you & tell you to come back and hurry to close the office so when you come back no one is there. They did that twice to me so far. The office is always closed and they will never answer the phone if you called 100 times what a terrible place to stay in. The ac doesn’t go below 85 and they will tell you there’s nothing we can do. They Change management every day, so they can escape from their customers. Neglecting is their first priority. Neighbors walk around with guns not a kid friendly at all. Dirty apartment… dirty carpets… dirty bathroom. I have listed 10 issues so far to come and fix it. Roaches are every where. Ants are everywhere. Wasps are everywhere. Weed is the common smell in here. I would absolutely beg you to think twice before moving in here. I usually don’t give bad reviews so I waited a whole month to see how they gonna respond to my issues but they will never respond to you. Once my lease is over I’m gone.
The management here is nonexistent. You can never reach anyone on the phone or in person. The apartments are poor quality and bug infested. If it was under better management it could have potential.
Towne Oaks staff is very professional. And very understanding of the current pandemic. I made a request and the next day my request has been completed. Just moved down to the state a couple of months ago. And Towne Oaks making my experience here in Arkansas a breath of fresh air. Again VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!

I've lived at Towne Oaks since Jan . of 1997 .It's peaceful , quiet , at home feeling .I would recommend this established apartment home complex to everyone . It's so convenient to all sorts of shopping . you could actually walk anywhere in minutes !

Although it is quite community. I wouldnt recommend living here as Ive been here for a year and the property is on its fourth Property Manager 3rd since new company took over and with each from my move in date I have had issues from my safety concerns of someone standing outside my window with a gun and me being told by the Regional Jennifer at the time that was not her problem there arent cameras so my safety is my concern then I was later sent in the mail a copy of the lease that states no guns or any other weapons are allowed on the property and its a violation, But I am to protect myself. Crazy. Also, within my apartment I have had some things Ive fixed myself, because after a year and 3 managers it wasnt fixed. Although, since the 4 and hopefully finally manager is here I have resubmitted my concerns for the up tenth time and they have been fixed. So my overall rating is no reflection of the current manager thats been here since April. But, my experience living here for a year.

I have lived here for 11 years. These apartments have large rooms, the master bedroom and kitchen are huge. Kitchen has enough room for a kitchen table beside having a dining room. The closets are large walk ins. Has washer and dryer hookups , 2 full size baths and a fireplace. The complex is quiet and pet friendly. Maintenance is fast to respond, even on weekend if you need them, and office staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a health food store and a Kroger near by along with several fast food places ... Taco Bell, Sonic, Arbys, McDonalds, Firehouse Sub, Dunkin Donut, Starbucks and more. All in all it is a great place to live.
I lived here a couple years ago. The Bad: My vehicle was stolen. I witnessed a couple guys breaking into every car in the parking lot. Breaking and entering was relatively common. One apartment caught on fire. The laundry room caught on fire. I walked out my door to find a couple kids smoking pot ON MY DOORSTEP. There was a pack of feral kids from another nearby complex who roamed through the complex, fighting and yelling, breaking car windows, kicking down the fences, breaking things, and harassing the residents. Almost daily, and much worse in the summer. It was rarely quiet, there always seemed to be a lot of vehicles coming and going loudly, and there was always a background level of shouting, day or night. The rental neighborhoods in this area are just poor quality. There are some particularly sketchy ones that seem to be the source of the whole air of general sketchiness in the area. The Good: Decent location for access to the interstate, river, west LR, etc. Rent prices are reasonable. Kitchens are HUGE, that's the main reason I got the place over some others nearby. Construction is decent, floor plans are really open and nice on the 1 bedroom units. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance, plus Drug Emporium. Windows aren't super efficient, but the rest of the insulation is pretty good. Walls are thick enough that you don't know everything about your neighbors. Maintenance is relatively quick about responding to important issues, like locks and windows. Not so fast about comfort things, like screen doors and gates. Management in general was pretty good when I left, and were doing what they could to keep it a nice place. It would be nicer if there was pretty constant police presence there, though. You get what you pay for, basically.
I like my apartment but the rent is so high. I pay $595 for just a one bedroom that don't even have a wash/dryer connection in it. Then one time there was a squirrel stuck in my unit which freak me out. Then my ac unit shut off and it made my go out. Beside that, the owners are really friendly and it's quiet and nice. I just wish it didn't cost so much. I also stay by myself.
