The application experience was amazing! The staff were super helpful throughout the whole process. Note: I had actually already paid the application fees at another place, but decided to go with Winnifred after touring it.
My roommate and I have enjoyed our unit and location. However, getting a hold of management and maintenance to perform routine maintenance has been an absolute nightmare. We’ve had issues outstanding for months, emails have been ignored, and no one has made any semblance of an effort to assist us - it’s nothing short of insulting. Between this and the new bars on Bland street making it extremely loud at night, we are glad to be moving somewhere else.

Love it here!! Everyone is very responsive and willing to assist you in any need!! All my maintenance requests have been solved almost immediately. My move-in was on a Monday holiday but the staff accepted my unusual request and could still get me my keys. Hands down best staff I've ever had regarding move in.

The staff is friendly however the cost of living is high per the quality of service. Maintenance requests have taken several months to resolve and the entire building has had extremely low water pressure for months that has not been resolved.

Winnifred is a lovely haven settled amid the up-and-coming South End neighborhood! Bustling sidewalks with beautiful shops and restaurants, one does not have to travel far to find everyday needs. The Winnifred apartments are modern and the size of the two bedroom is great. I like that the fitness center is 24 hours. The Sky Lounge looks out onto Uptown and I can even get some work done up there. It’s a great place for me to go out and grab a drink with friends after work. There is so much to do here in the South End. The Winnifred is in a great location!

Its honestly a great apartment building if you don't mind the noise on the weekends. The layout is amazing, love the upgraded appliances and the decor/paint/etc. The location couldn't be better. The parking situation isn't the best and a huge downfall that they use Fetch now, but if youre in your 20's, its probably the best apartment for you.

Units are not well insulated, you can hear the TVs in the unit below, and you can hear noise from the hallways. Additionally, in this specific unit the noise from the Bulldog bar at night is overbearing - especially on weekends. People will park their cars and block off the street in front of Arrichion blasting music at 3am. They street race from 2am-5am every Friday and Saturday night, and cars are doing donuts in the parking garage. Realistically, more thought should have went into the architecture for the Winnifred, and prospective tenants should be made aware of these things prior to signing a lease, because we were told the units were well insulated and you couldn't hear anything. Very false.

The Winnifred is a wonderful place to call home. It is located right in the heart of South End with amazing, updated apartments, views, neighbors, and amenities alike. It is walking distance to many shops, breweries, restaurants, the Light Rail, and also the Bank of America Stadium. It is just a quick, five minute drive to Uptown for all of your Center City needs. The staff is very friendly, maintenance taken care of promptly and efficiently, and the complex is always clean and tidy. I have very much enjoyed living here over the last year. These apartments are definitely for young professionals that don’t mind a noisy road on the weekends from the bars and heavy foot traffic.

Keenan was very helpful and accommodating before and after me becoming a resident. The area is very convenient because everything you need is within walking distance (cvs, Office Depot,Walgreens, Sephora, Publix , lowes, restaurants). The area reminds me of my hometown . Moving into Charlotte, I was nervous on where to live because it is such a big city. But the second I walked into Centro Railyard, I knew this was the place I wanted to live. This apartment complex is located in SouthEnd, Charlotte, and there is always something to do, and in walking distance! It has an area for entertaining guests (with a great view of the city might I add) and is connected in the same building of the cutest small businesses. I thought I was going to move in with the 2 bedroom option, but I decided with the 1 bedroom and I am so glad I did! It is still a new building, so everything is new and with modern appliances. I have my dog with me too and the fee is reasonable! One of my favorite things they offer is the valet trash. I can just leave the trash outside my door within the specific hours and someone comes along to pick up. It is so nice when I don't want to leave my place. The management staff is possibly the best I have ever met in all of my apartment hunting and will help me with my million questions. This place is one of the many hidden treasures of Charlotte and I am so lucky I was able to grab a spot. I hope to be here as long as I can!
