Beautiful community with the perfect balance of community activity and quiet. The complex has everything you need within 5 minutes and is extremely clean. Staff has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and made my move very easy. I would recommend Elan to anyone looking for a place in the Williamsburg area.

Elan Williamsburg is a wonderful place to live. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. The apartments are new and very well-maintained. The amenities, to include a well-equipped fitness center, large pool and pool table in the clubhouse are all top-notch. Finally, the location is ideal in a quiet and safe area of town, close to restaurants and the historic Colonial Williamsburg.

I have found Elan of Williamsburg to be a very pleasant place to stay. Residents are usually very friendly and staff is always ready and willing to help you. I feel very secure no matter what time I go outside.
I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Elan Williamsburg! I am a travel nurse so this apartment is my home away from home, and I could not be more pleased! It felt like it was brand new moving in- absolutely immaculate! The pool is fabulous and the property is so peaceful and clean! Love it!!

Staff is very friendly and always willing to help.The community here is very friendly and respectful of each other. If you come in contact with another resident, they usually will greet you with a smile or a friendly hello. We walk our dogs anytime doing the day and we feel very secure and confident.

This complex and Grey Star as a whole is very deceiving. The amenities are beautiful with a lap pool and huge gym but this is just to cover up all of the short comings. I used this property for a short term rental and paid dearly for it. I gave them the exact time frame of when I would be staying and leaving and when it came time to move they stated that I had not given notice when I have clear proof that I did. This resulted in ridiculous fees and threats which I spent over a year fighting. Initially when I tried to resolve the issue Brad and Michelle were not understanding and actually laughed at me and threatened eviction. Very unprofessional. They also threaten to send you to collections and take legal action. The receivables department is not much better and will give you a total runaround filled with lies. Besides all of these issues, the apartment itself has paper thin walls and you can hear everything. There was also a string of car break ins which the management failed to disclose. I wasn’t affected because I couldn’t even find a place to park my car anyway because there are not enough parking spots within the community. I would avoid this place at all costs. I hope this saves someone else the headaches. There are also previous reviews from other tenants with similar stories and complaints.

Elan is a safe, quiet and well maintained apartment complex. It has beautiful finishings and a ton of natural light through large windows. It is also reassuring having police officers live here.

Overall, I love the appearances, amenities, and convenience with Elan Williamsburg. The ease of parking is very great. Would be better if there were more roads providing quicker access to the space and the rest of Williamsburg. Other than lower rent prices and making the valet trash optional, there is not much else I can think of that could improve the space.

Elan is an outstanding apartment community. The apartments are beautiful, the community has tons of amenities (full gym with up-to-date equipment/weights/etc., gorgeous pool, grilling). The staff are also fantastic -- Michelle, Shirae, Luis and Jose do a ton to make Elan a friendly, welcoming community. I've lived here for almost a year and would recommend to anyone!

The community areas are very clean, and the office staff is polite and always ready to help. We had issues with the power in our apartment the first day we moved in which weren't Elan's fault at all, but they still gave us a small discount for the inconvenience. Overall we have really enjoyed living here. My only complaint is that some of the hardware in the apartment is a little bit cheap for the price. Still a nice apartment complex!
