After 4 1/2 years at The Vistas I am still happy to be living here! My spacious home is filled with natural light, and the views of nature from my windows & patio doors are peaceful & serene. Modern finishes such as soft-close cupboards/drawers, stone countertops and LVP flooring add ease to daily tasks. Lots of closets provide a place for everything, and the front-loading W&D minimize effort on laundry day. Parking is right outside my door, so suitcases or groceries—no problem. If there is a problem, maintenance is speedy & efficient. Every month brings a plethora of activities, games, parties, charity events, food trucks and clubs. The Clubhouse is top notch and available for private events. The gym is well-equipped and the walking path offers an additional opportunity for exercising/socializing. Around the beautiful pool are BBQ areas, fire pits for lounging, and even a greenhouse. The Vistas is a conveniently located gated community with lovely lawns and landscaping. Come for a tour!

We moved in just over a week ago and EVERYTHING aspect met our hopes and needs. We love our townhome! Vistas is a beautiful and very welcoming community. Communication with the leasing office has been superb. My wife and I really appreciate the regular schedule of social activities. Vistas is also located in an area that suits our needs.

I pride myself on being honest, and I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the grounds here are immaculate and well kept! The Clubhouse is beautiful, and the staff goes above and beyond to help with all your needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms are huge, the kitchen is large and beautiful, and the amenities are Top-Notch throughout the facility!

The management team responds to any problems the maintenance team does everything from changing light bulbs to fixing electrical problems the grounds are well maintained there are events at the clubhouse weekly and most importantly the snow and ice are removed immediately. I am renewing my lease this week

We have lived at The Vistas of Port Jefferson for just under a year. This is by far the most beautiful 55 over rental community in the area, with lots of green and spacious areas to walk and enjoy. All of the residents we've met are friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of parking, so the property feels spacious and easy to walk around. The apartments are beautiful and any issues are promptly addressed by the maintenance staff. We'd recommend The Vistas of Port Jefferson to anyone looking to move into a 55 over community.

Since I have moved into the Vistas the rent has increased 5% every year. This is way above the cost-of-living rates and unjustified. Please explain what has warranted the increase. There have been no updates to community amenities. The gym is outdated; there aren't enough umbrellas by the pool, and the bars at the gate are broken more than they work. Residents aren't even offered the option to sign a 18 or 24 month lease. WHY? instead, we are forced to agree upon a new base rate 90 days prior to our lease expiration or take a chance of being hit with a higher rent. In 2024 we were hit not only with a 5% increase to our rent we were told we would have to pay an addition $60apx for sewer/trash & water, which also includes a $5 service fee! the water bill cannot even be measured by individual apartments it's a guestimate based on how many individuals live in an apartment.

Living at the Vista at Port Jefferson I feel like I’m on vacation everyday. Walking my dog to the dog park and observing the beauty of it and the neighbor’s decorations in front of their lawn make feel that I make the right choice choosing the Vista at Port Jefferson.

I have been a resident for 5 years now I moved in in January of 2020. I wasn't sure about moving to a rental community. However, I quickly got comfortable and I surely feel safe here. From beginning to end, the tour of units, leasing and background check, tour of facilities/ gym clubhouse, etc was friendly, professional and easily expedited. I am just 1 month here but am extremely happy making the downsizing of house to apartment. No more worry or unexpected headaches of home repair, I put in a work order and it was completed in less than an hour. Maintenance personnel again friendly and helpful. The holiday dinner they threw was lovely and I was welcomed to a table of ladies who all had worked in healthcare/ mental health. They invited me anytime to their card games on Tuesday. The grounds are beautiful and I can’t wait for summer fun at the pool!
