Overall, a good apartment for its rent. Building is a little old but the apartment is renovated and nice. Maintenance is fast with fixing issues during the week.

It´s a very good place to live, is quiet and convenience to my job place. The services are good, only the laundry room has some problems but I hope get fixed soon, but everything else is working and doing great.

The Victorian Apartments, so far, (I've been living here for 2 months) has been superb! The office management, building personnel and residents all are friendly. This is a very quiet building, which is one of the reasons it's so refreshing. It's peaceful and quiet at night. I highly recommend The Victorian Apartments as a place to call home.

I have been here just two weeks but so far I love The Victorian Apartments. The building is a little old but my studio is everything I wanted and at a great price, especially given the fantastic location. The managerial staff have been extremely helpful and responsive to my service requests.

It's an older building, but the price point is great for younger folks, college students, or people who want to save a bit more. The maintenance and property staff are so nice and helpful. The location is also amazing.

The Victorian Apartments are located close to downtown Hyde Park many restaurants coffee shops. The Museum of Science and Industry and lots of tourists attractions along with public transportation.

My apartment is in excellent condition. I love our property manager is on site along with a very updated look in the apartments. Also being within walking distance of Hyde Parks stores and restaurants. We are also very close to the lakefront and the Museum of Science and Industry!

I love the property manager Marrion. I had to choose between two TLC properties to live in and I chose the Victorian because Marrion laid everything out for me clearly. She told me EVERYTHING there was to know about what my experience would have been if I chose The Victorian.
I have lived at the Victorian for about a year and it is a hospitable place. The property manager is very friendly, maintenance work gets done in a timely manner, and the residents are quite friendly.
The building itself is fine, you get what you pay for. It's maintained and clean, though the elevator is frequently out of service. It's the staff with whom I'm unimpressed. I submitted two work orders last week for a tub that continues to clog and a cockroach in the building. Radio silence. I suppose the disease carrying bug and my tub are a lesser priority given the fact that the entire building's electricity went out yesterday. I've also had two packages go missing. The leasing agent, who sits directly outside of the mail room, shrugged her shoulders and said too bad, she can't make mail couriers do their job! She told me that if it was stolen I wouldn't get it back anyway, so there was no use checking to see if the cameras that monitor the area were even rolling...how reassuring! I'd be a little less pissed if she'd gotten back to my email from a week ago when the first package went missing. Overall, if you want cheap, you got it. Cheap rent, cheap service.
Rent keeps going up, Elevator often out of service, no "real" business center.. just the lobby. Super convenient location, fast response to issues, super small. 1 bedrooms are more so a closet, beautiful renovations, water, electricity, etc are about $12 a month added into your rent, charged for paying rent online.
There have been two office workers in the first floor office in my short time here, and they have both been extremely unprofessional and rude. I have been yelled at for random things i didn't know about and they keep adding new rules. Halfway through my year they banned pets from the elevator, without any notice and I live on the top floor. The building is run down and they do nothing about it. There are much better apartments in the area for the same price. Worst management I've ever seen.
This place keeps getting better. They're renovating this place to really look like something you would find in a magazine. Personally I love it I do wish for better parking and an actual business center.
