Neighborhood

Copperfield may be small, but this compact area is considered one of Austin’s hottest neighborhoods. Copperfield is located in northeast Austin, about 10 miles from downtown. The U-shaped southern border of Copperfield is framed by green space – the Walnut Creek Greenbelt meets Copperfield Park, providing miles of hiking trails, lakes, and creeks.

Wide, tree-lined streets framed by sidewalks wind through the residential areas that are filled with bungalows and ranch-style homes. Residents can commute to downtown or to the University of Texas at Austin via I-35 or by bus – the neighborhood provides ample bus stops throughout. As Copperfield is mainly residential, residents travel outside the neighborhood for most of their shopping and dining. There are a few shops, restaurants, and businesses located off Parmer Lane, including a CVS Pharmacy and a Dollar General.

absolutely loved my stay at this community only draw back is there are some dog poops either in walk way or garden areas apart from that we had good amenities and good responsive host.only 1st floor will be very clean with good smell apart from that every other floor is very bad in condition and have good amities, apart from that every thing is good. i would highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Affordable pricing, but don’t expect high-quality. Moved in with a broken dishwasher and all the cabinets had cheap, vinyl wrap that rips and makes it difficult to close without tears. The community events are a plus, such as the free Pilates event and complementary breakfasts. Overall, the highway noise is constant and the quality is subpar, but the community is nice and attentive.

The apartment itself is modern and spacious. I really appreciate the open floor plan and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The kitchen is updated with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, which was a big selling point for me.

Overall, pretty good experience. Staff is extremely friendly and very hopeful. Additionally, the apartments are very modern and very clean looking with new generation appliances, granite countertops specifically the unit that I purchase has a great view to the pool and no view to the street and indirect sunlight, which is a perfect combo for me.

I love this community. The apartments are newly renovated, clean, and quiet. All the neighbors are friendly and respectful. You really are getting what you pay for. The leasing agents and on-site managers are super friendly and approachable as well. Overall a good place to live, but the walls are thin and I constantly hear my neighbors and when I first moved in it took months to get my maintenance requests completed. I do not plan on continuing my lease, and honestly I would leave if it were not for the lease cancelation fee's.

Terrible - Avoid at all costs

Living at this apartment complex has been nothing short of a nightmare. From day one, our move in date was delayed because one of the contractors or something went out of business so they delayed our move in date by several weeks. When it comes to the property itself the staircases have been constantly trashed, with garbage and debris left everywhere, making it feel like a dump. The lack of security is alarming—there’s no sense of safety here whatsoever. The gates, which are supposed to be secure, are either broken or malfunctioning all the time. Some days I couldn't even enter the property because the gate wouldn’t open properly or wouldn’t open at all. Other times, they just remain wide open for anyone to walk or drive through. The management is beyond incompetent. Whenever there’s an issue, they either fail to communicate or completely ignore complaints. There was mold growing in the ceiling, and despite bringing it to their attention multiple times, nothing had been done. On top of that, the neighbors are excessively loud and have no regard for quiet hours, making it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. To top it all off, car break-ins are a common occurrence here. It seems like no one cares about keeping the place safe or maintaining a decent living environment. Save yourself the stress and frustration and take your money elsewhere!

Disappointed, my apartment is infested with ROACHES. Property somehow refused to show me the apartment before move in. Not the best experience. Also, not enough parking, no towing company and gates are always open. Honestly, go with your next option if thinking to rent at this property.

In the beginning, I had a bug issue that I concluded was because of my new neighbors. Of course I went to the front office voicing my concerns, and the Assistant Manager,Kelli, told me that they were working on having it mandatory that every apartment gets sprayed at least 1x a month. Well it took almost a month before someone actually came sprayed, &since then I hadnt had problems until recently. Ive been to the office 2x in the last 2mo requesting to get sprayed,still nothing.Pest control either show up late & dont spray all units, or dont show at all. I get that this isnt the team fault; but, I would say to look for another pest control provider, one who can get the job done. It's frustrating bc now Im seeing bugs again, &my nerves are bad.I stayed home the entire day Wed, the day pest control was supposed to come, &they never did. This is a service that we pay for that is included in our rent every month; we should be able to utilize it and it shouldn't be this much of a hassle.

The area is quiet and peaceful, nice apartment to rent for the year and the neighbors are friendly and cool, the front deck attendant have a unique attitude that makes people wanna rent the house right away, this is the best.??

Convenient access to retail and grocery stores. New management is working hard to get things going, and there have been lots of improvements in the last few months. Maintenance repairs are done quickly. The pool is noisy during the day- if you WFH, don't get a unit near it. The actual layout of the apartments is a bit odd. The master bedroom/closet are smaller than the guest rm. There is only one light switch for the kitchen, by the entrance door. If you want to turn off lights from a bedroom, you need to walk across the entire floor plan. The bathrooms don't have hooks installed on the doors. Only one towel rack in the bathrooms, and it's in a weird spot. Only one bathroom has a cabinet for storage. There isn't a place to put a shoe rack/mat because of the unit design. No storage space in the apartments, unless you want to use one of the closets. You have to replace your own fridge filter, and they do not provide a new one upon move in. All little details but worth noting!
