Property Ratings at The Trails of Redmond
They did not send me a lease renewal notice until 15 days before the deadline to turn in the moveout notice. They're unreachable on phone and inperson and I'm scrambling to find another apartment now. Avoid this frustrating place!!!
Good luck ever getting them to answer the phone, respond to emails, or acknowledge you in any way. They have shuttered themselves in the office, and have now made it a policy to refuse to answer the door. The living spaces are passable, the maintenance folks are very responsive, so kudos to them, and the amenity areas are nice (so long as you don't want to swim, the pool is perpetually closed). But God forbid you ever need to get ahold of them for any reason, especially during regular business hours. This is a true story: my neighbor was using the gym in the middle of the day, had the door locked on her and she couldn't get out, and she could not get in contact with anyone at Trails of Redmond. SHE HAD TO CLIMB OUT THE WINDOW. If I were you, I would be very cautious about giving them your money. If you never have any problems that require the office staff to help you, then life is great. But if you require any help at all, you are on your own with this company.
Appliances left everywhere cars parked for months no office staff now and new staff takes weeks to reply to any request real shady lease practices
My contract mentioned a 20 days notice. I sent an email 35 days in advance, to the same email i had communicated with for signing the original contract a few months prior. They didn’t acknowledge my original email and now are charging me extra because I didn’t give them a notice. Be very careful with them, they are trying to rip customers off.
My apartment was broken in on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The bathroom window was smashed, which caused an unsafe living condition. I had to live in a hotel for a week. The Trails of Redmond did not repair the window within 24 hours not even 48 hours. They are also charing me of an early termination fee and an additional one-month rent. Do you think the charge is reasonable? I am open to your suggestions. Thank you! I met the manager with the police officer on the same Saturday, the manager promised me they would have people fix it on Monday, but it did not happen. I went to the office on Monday and was told it would be Tuesday, and the repair work did not happen either. I had to move out and sign the early termination agreement on Tuesday, October 22nd due to fresh footprints kicked on my front door when I was home collecting clothes. When I was signing the early termination agreement, I was only told about an early termination fee, which I paid right away. I had sympathy for them since the break-in caused a lot of trouble for myself for sure, but it was inconvenient for them as well. I moved out on Saturday, October 26th. I only received an email from the manager saying the window would be fixed on November 6th. After I moved to a new apartment I received an mail from the Tails of Redmond saying I would also be responsible for the rent from October 22 - November 22. I have already returned the key after moving out and the apartment is shown as available on their website when the manager said I was in procession of the apartment.
The lady that runs this, has no interest in doing her job properly. And yes it is the same lady mentioned in other older reviews. The outlets in my apartment were dangerously loose. The floor above my apartment is so creaky you cannot get a quiet moment in your day. The The appliances are old, worn out and barely functional. The carpet had holes cut into it and a stain when we took possession of the apartment. I lost two fans to crappy loose sockets and they want to argue with me about replacing them. Despite the fact, the second time, the short out almost set our apartment on fire. Oh and you can’t plug in Portable AC unit because the electrical is so shoddy it trips circuits when you turn it on. Everything about this place is substandard. At this point I will actively walk up to any prospective tenants I see and warn them not to move into this place. Do not let its proximity to MS campus fool you. This place is the worst.
