The Thompson

I’m staying here for my third year and have not had any big issues with the place. The complex I’ve been in hadn’t had problems and any maintenance requests have been achieved fairly quickly. Looking forward to my last year here!

The complex always smells like weed. When we first moved in my roommate had mold growing in her cabinets. There are always maintenance requests being made not by me but by the complex and when I kindly tell them or ask them to not enter a space they DO NOT need to be in they disregard the request and help themselves into anything. I put up a sign says to not go in my closet and even put tape on my door to see if they would and when I got home the sign was gone and the closet door was wide open. I have never felt so uncomfortable to live in a place ever in my life. I contacted to office and all they said was “I’ll see what I can do”. Completely disregarding that their own staff decided to wonder my room. A place THAT I pay for this is not okay. I have come home to my bed completely move because their was an “issue” with the WiFi box but then when I called they said said WiFi box was in my closet (there is nothing in my closest but a water spout thing for a fire). They are so unprofessional for this and I DO NOT recommend living here.

Did sooo much research when first moving here as many apts had their pros and cons, however I hadn’t heard much about this place til I took the tour. My family knew before I did that this was the place for me lol. So far amazing rates, speedy maintenance, good roommate matching (besties w 1/2), the staff is so sweet and always hold cute events up front and has a pretty funny n clever social media presence. Deffff recommend to anyone I hear is looking because I only have good things to say.

It’s a good place to live if you’re a student at Txst. The staff and maintenance team are super helpful and amazing! The bedrooms are very specious and it’s a good deal for the price.

I have had such a good experience with The Thompson. Between the staff, the quality, and the affordable prices it is one great apartment for a college student. Facilities are kept clean and maintenance are quick to help with any needs. Overall I would recommend this to a friend who wants cheap, and great housing while going to school.

We live in a townhouse style apartment, it’s cozy and feels like home here!

I have lived at The Thompson for about a year and a half. I have absolutely loved living here. The staff are great and very quick to give you answers if you have any questions or concerns. The amenities are also great. My roommates and I love the pool when it’s warm outside.

I’ve lived here for two years now with my best friends and i can definitely say it will be a bittersweet goodbye when i graduate.

The staff always is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance always completes things quick. The rooms are very spacious.

Management is extremely poor and living here has caused so many problems.

The water is constantly cold or not working at all, our dryer has been broken for months, the dumpster is constantly overflowing with trash and the smell is so bad i can smell it from my window. Our hallway lights have been out since i moved in, i have been overcharged for my rent multiple times, they don’t tell you when your payment for your rent doesn’t go through so you can accumulate over 100 dollars in late fees. I give this place two stars because i seriously do not like it here but the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Definite recommend this property if it’s within budget! The management is very nice and caring, my apartment flooded due to my upstairs neighbors and the team took care of my apartment in a timely manner and made sure I had a place to stay in the meantime. The rooms are nice and the apartment is really pretty and modern. Love how many dogs I saw everyday too. The flats are really cool because they maintain temperatures really well being on the first floor. I only moved because I got a job out of state.
