I love living here! I wish the rent was a little less but I do like the amenities and also the apartment. The pool is probably my favorite amenity.

Living at the Social is great! I love hanging out with my roommates and neighbors by the pool, or sitting outside on our porch! I frequently use the gym and the study rooms too! I also love the community events!

A great living space for college students. I would not say price friendly at all but everyone is jacking up prices so you can’t blame them. Definitely the best student living place and the dealbreaker for me was it offered a garbage disposal which makes life easier. Community and maintenance staff are superb though! Great spaces and areas sizes for everyone!

Originally, I loved it. As management changed, it has declined heavily. There is only 1 maintenance man for the entire community so things do not get fixed in a timely manner. They keep raising the rent prices, but nothing is getting updated. We went 2 weeks without air conditioning. Just wish things would get better.

The social community is a great place to live. The amenities along with friendly staff make living there a great experience. I love that the apartment complex is off campus, but is a short drive to classes. The only small inconvenience is if you live on a bottom floor it can be noisy by the staircase.

It was okay. There’s one rude person working the front desk other than that it’s been good. Love the pool and the clubhouse. They have nice events.

The social is amazing place and the people and staff here are amazing. There are constant resident events which I love. Maintenance here is amazing and they are always helping to give tips on how to prevent future problems.

The rent is absolutely not worth what you get. I wish I had chosen The Reserves or Parc at 720 instead. Maintenance is slow and unhelpful—our AC was broken and we were told to wait over a week. Our washing machine leaked and they refused to replace it. The dishwasher has been broken for over two weeks, and our sink still leaks. They changed their corporate address without notice and rejected valid renters insurance, forcing us to pay extra. Raccoons and skunks frequently linger by front doors. I also witnessed someone breaking into cars, reported it to the police who told me I should inform the office to inform residents, and they failed to notify residents. Poor management, safety issues, and bad maintenance make this place not worth the price.

Everyone is great, I love living here with my friends. Staff is great, the only thing to improve is enforcing that people are picking up after their dogs and dogs stay on leashes. Also enforcing our parking passes would be great

I love living here at the social! The amenities and distance to campus really make it a wonderful place to live. I love the basketball courts and pool especially! I also think a community flower garden in the center definitely would interest a lot of people!
Everybody is super friendly here and it is so close to SIUe. There are also tons of close restaurants and shops within walking distance which I also enjoy.

Not a fan of the pricing, maintenance people are subpar and talk to the residents like they are children or don't what they are talking about (took almost 4 months for our sink to get fixed). The bathrooms are incorrectly cocked/sealed. Just have more issues than what it's worth. Avoid living here if you can.

price increases randomly almost every few months whether it’s electric bill or a accidental charge of something. nothing gets fixed properly not affordable to be COLLEGE HOUSING. they definitely treat the residents like we’re just “college students” and try to get over on us. Doesnt do well with accommodations.

It’s been good. The environment is nice and the staff is great. I like all the amenities. The only thing that sucks is the rent, which I feel is a little much. It is a lot cheaper to rent a house with roommates than live in an apartment.

I just moved here but so far so good. The maintenance team fixed my issue quickly. My only problem is with the fab key. It sometimes doesn’t work and is kinda unreliable

It's been a week since I started living at The Social, and I can't say anything negative. The office staff is very supportive and answers all your questions quickly. The room looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The only downside is that it gets a bit cold in the room during winter.

I love having my own room and bathroom. Staff is also very nice and helpful. There are lots of fun events to go to year round! Safe neighborhood.

Wonderful maintenance and comparable prices from around the area. The pool, gym, and closeness to the MCT trails are a major bonus. They do lots of giveaways and have food stocked in the study longue sometimes. I would only recommend for college students, though.

Love the location and the people! The maintenance crew is super nice as well. Having a space to go and work on school work or print out papers anytime is one of the pros of this place as well !

I love it here. The facility is very nice. I like that we have our washer and dryer unit in our apartment. I enjoy the pool and outdoor area.

One of the best things about living here is the fast response when something does wrong in the apartment. If one does not have a car the bus stops up the street can help you get to most locations
