Southwood begins along Old Saint Augustine Road and follows Capital Circle south to roughly Tram Road. SouthWood Golf Club is located at the center of the neighborhood. Southwood is a planned community that formed in 1999. It is home to the Florida State University School, a laboratory school sponsored by FSU. Southwood offers beautiful parks, shops and restaurants in the town center, and more than 1,000 acres of green space. I have lived at the Savoy for 2 years, going on 3 years now, and it has been amazing. I love the atmosphere of the community and the apartment itself. Maintenance has never been a problem for me. They come within the next day of putting in a request. Pests have been a small problem for me while living on the first floor. Other than that, I would give Savoy 5 stars. Gym, pool, theatre, everything is up to par! Staff super sweet!!!

This is my second week in the Savoy at Southwood community, and I find it comfortable and convenient. My apartment is relatively well-maintained, I guess, but coming from a newer property interstate gave me higher expectations. There have been a couple of maintenance challenges, which were quickly dealt with by the friendly staff at the community.

Very good and positive experience! Had a couple hiccups in the move-in process but handled well and quickly. Moving is already a stressful experience so you definitely need a team that makes things go a little smoother. And sometimes it’s the little things that go a long way. Savoys team definitely accomplished that goal.
Great amenities. Very easy move in process. Community is great. Gym is very nice with all the equipment needed except for maybe a seated pull down and seated row machine.
Lots of bugs, I have seen at least 2 roaches - but I mean, it's Florida. It seems nice at first glance but there's lots of little issues here and there that are simple fixes, but definitely inconvenient considering I just moved in a week ago.
Love the safety, peace and quiet of the community. Community staff members have all been very nice and helpful since I have moved into this community.

It is in a good neighborhood (Southwood), near supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants (El Jalisco and Canopy Road Cafe), and schools. The Savoy staff is excellent.

It was an ok experience, had many issues when I moved in with how the apartment looked. Had bugs problems, even though I complained and requested service for it, I never received it. I ended up doing the fumigation myself. Also the hallways of the apartments are really bad maintained, I lived there for almost 2 years and not once saw someone properly cleaning. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. A very disappointed thing was when I moved out, I never got the courtesy call that everything was fine in the unit nor that I left things in it that clearly weren’t supposed to, valuable things that were “thrown away” by them. You would think that after the final inspection made by them, they would have noticed and called about 2 boxes clearly organized to be taken, left behind in a closet. It’s a common sense thing, but I guess they don’t care. Advice, check your actual unit before signing the contract and do the walk through before moving and after moving out with someone from the property.

There is plenty of parking throughout the property, the unit was in good shape when I arrived, and the staff and maintenance team are excellent and attentive. There are plenty of places to walk throughout the property, and the amenities are excellent! Would recommend the Savoy to anyone looking for a place in the area.

It's a lovely layout and good appliances. I don't particularly use the amenities but it's a good, clean, safe place to live. The only reason it's 4/5 stars is due to maintenance of the grounds. Pest control granules weren't laid down by the landscaping crew around the building so many units have ant problems currently which are being treated by Pest control services, and several storm drains have an immense build up of leaves inside them, leading to flooded areas when it rains.

Overall, the neighborhood is quiet and people are respectful and friendly. It’s nice to see people walking their dogs in the evening. I can be somewhat loud at night above us, but overall, it’s been a good experience. I wish there were more community events to bring neighbors together.

The staff is excellent. Near supermarkets, restaurants, and schools. It still needs better maintenance in the surrounding area (pressure washer). My biggest concern is there are too many roaches; I wonder if the problem is the company's pest control, but nothing works, and the issue has persisted since I moved in (two years now). It doesn't matter the season.

Walls are very thin so can hear noise coming from other apartments sometimes, besides that it’s been a great place to live. Move in was smooth and the apartment was very clean. Pool and gym areas are always clean. Would recommend living here to anyone!

Staff, complex, amenities, and location are outstanding! Unfortunately the complex’s policy of allowing medium to large dogs to occupy upstairs units above other tenants is a complete nightmare! Our upstairs neighbors think it’s perfectly acceptable to play with their medium sized dog by bouncing balls or stomping on the floor to excite the dog and have it run in circles around furniture jumping up and down on the hardwood floors. The HUGE problem is they do this nightly between 10PM through 2 or 3AM at night! As long as you work throughout the night this is not a problem, but if you have a regular day time job and like to actually sleep at night you should reconsider moving here. These conditions are not disclosed when touring the property and apparently the sections in your lease guaranteeing you quiet and peaceful enjoyment of your apartment are not taken seriously by property management!

All my needs were professionally taken care of. My home was in great condition at move-in. I love the fact that everything has been remodeled. I love my new home.
Living at the Savoy has been awesome. You run into your typical issues as any normal apartment complex, but management and maintenance work hard to get issues resolved as fast as possible.
Love the gym and pool! Our unit is so clean and spacious. Love everything about this apartment!!! 10/10 would recommend. Also, lots of cute pets! :)
I like the area and my neighbors, but Building Six is falling apart. With roaches and holes outside the building walls and in balconies, the apartment is not a luxury at all.

Great place to rent from. Overall very quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would like to see more maintenance on the grounds and yard area and some updates in pool area, even so this is a really nice place to live!
From the tour to the renting was seamless. The staff has been more than accommodating. I am looking forward to being a part of the community.
The Savoy at Southwood has so far been a great experience! When looking, Michael took so much time to stay in contact with us and made sure we were able to get the layout we wanted as close to our price range as possible. They were extremely helpful and communicative. The apartments are beautiful, and maintenance when needed is extremely fast (typically within the same day or next day) and super helpful. The Savoy at Southwood has so far proven to be a great move and place to live!
It has been a great experience with the moving in process. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We like the feel of the community and all the amenities that are here, especially the amazing gym. Very quiet and great walking area.
