Nicknamed "A Village within a City" and located across the river from Downtown Minneapolis, the Saint Anthony neighborhood straddles the border of Ramsey and Hennepin counties. Many residents call this neighborhood home, thanks to its quiet streets, picturesque houses and apartments, multiple recreational activities, and great schools.
Ranked as one of the top ten schools in the state of Minnesota, Saint Anthony High School has 70 percent of its students earning free college credits through advanced placement classes or free courses at the University of Minnesota. The neighborhood features a charming commercial area and bike paths along the banks of the Mississippi River. Saint Anthony has great views of the Minneapolis skyline, and it overlaps Minneapolis's North East neighborhood.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Ruby
If you're considering Ruby Apartments, I recommend proceeding with caution. While the property might look appealing at first, there are several concerns you should be aware of based on my experience. The biggest issue is the lack of soundproofing. You can hear noises through the walls and ceilings, making it hard to enjoy a quiet living space. If you value peace and privacy, this might not be the best choice for you. Additionally, I found the move-out process frustrating. Despite raising concerns about the unit’s condition when I moved in, I was charged for what I believe were pre-existing issues. Make sure to document everything carefully before signing the lease and during your stay. While the location might be convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired. I would recommend looking into other options to ensure you get a fair and enjoyable living arrangement. This is just my honest opinion based on my personal experience—hopefully, it helps someone make an informed decision
Honest review: SAVE YOUR MONEY and look for a FINISHED and well established, well rated building (don’t be fooled by the exterior, or the reviews of people who just moved in two weeks ago). Lots of deep issues here that you’ll discover only AFTER living here awhile. Main thing to keep in mind is that the bldg is NOT FINISHED & coming construction will be unlivable for many units and unpleasant for all (common areas and pool will be radically affected by the noise and dirt for years to come!). The (surprise!!) pre-construction to prepare the lot last winter was incredibly disruptive. RENTER BEWARE.
The Ruby is a nice apartment building. The staff are friendly and responsive. I was able to move in quickly. I'm happy to call The Ruby my home!
