One of the most iconic neighborhoods in Manhattan, East Village is filled with a creative community spirit and vintage vibes. If residents aren’t perusing vintage stores or boutique shops, they’re experiencing the neighborhood’s popular dive bars, pubs, and thriving culinary scene. On the lower end of Manhattan, East Village is known for its very happening nightlife scene and incredible variety of businesses to explore.
The public transportation in East Village is something to envy, with so many bus stops and subway stations to get you where you need to be in the city. Residents love being outdoors at running paths on the East River and enjoy the neighborhood’s largest green space, Tompkins Square Park, a historic space complete with , live music and a local farmers market. Though the neighborhood doesn’t house high rises, it’s known for its pre-war walk-ups, giving this neighborhood a historic, architecturally trendy vibe for renters looking in East Village.

Property Ratings at The Robyn
The Robyn, first known to be named after the obscure (to me) Swedish singer in the neighborhood, (turns out it isn't) is an 8 story building designed by architect Karl Fischer (never heard of him, but he did a nice job) which opened for rentals in November 2014. New construction in a part of town known for its gritty past and tons of character (nice way of saying its a new building in the East Village/Alphabet City part of New York City which gives you plenty of access to downtown and all the goings on downtown but none of the big city living issues some older buildings have. Plenty of space in a 1-BR to convert for your roommate or best friend. Each apartment features stainless steel appliances (very nice), granite kitchens, marble baths, and in-unit washer/dryers. The elevator building features a roof deck, storage units to pickup your dry-cleaning or get packages dropped off safely, bike storage and a pet spa, among other amenities. The rental rates are very reasonable for new construction and the building management Miron Properties is very responsive to tenant requests. Its a turn-key kinda place with all the kinks worked out.
