Westerville combines suburban comfort with historic character throughout its 12.6 square miles. Home to Otterbein University, this Columbus suburb features tree-lined streets and well-maintained parks. The rental market remains steady, with current average rents ranging from $1,007 for studios to $2,034 for three-bedroom homes. The historic Uptown district along State Street offers local shops and restaurants, while the Polaris area provides contemporary housing options.
Westerville's rich history shapes its present-day character. As the former headquarters of the Anti-Saloon League, the city earned the nickname "The Dry Capital of the World" during the Prohibition era. Today, the community offers diverse housing choices, from historic properties near Otterbein University to modern apartment communities in northern Westerville. Residents enjoy an extensive parks system with walking trails throughout the city.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Residences at Riverpointe Place
My girlfriend and i lived there for 4 years. No kids and no pets. We paid our rent on time. The place only has one property manager, which means if you are not on her good sides, you will be very uncomfortable. A young lady, she is very sweet at the beginning to get you through the door. After she tends to be very rude to the tenants. Anytime we request some type of services from the apartment, they will never show up or show up with an attitude. The lady, i believe her name is Nicole has no respect and will quickly give you a 60 day notice if you make a complaint, request or not on her list of tenants she only associate with. I don't recommend if management remains the same.
After moving I discovered that the bathroom and kitchen needed some maintenance done. As if I was already a burden, I approached building manager Nicole to inform her…only for her to tell me “isn’t it too early to be complaining “. The building only looks good on the outside. Rent here at your own risk.
I do not live in this complex yet but I have had such a wonderful experience working with the property manager Nicole, that I wanted to leave a review. Little backstory: My current complex is giving everyone 60 day notices to leave when their lease is up so they can remodel and raise the rent $300-450. This rent increase along with the short notice to leave has put me in a pretty bad spot considering I am a single mom and was not planning to move until I was at least done with school. Long story short, after days of looking and still no luck, I was beyond stressed trying to find a decent, affordable place in a good school district. I finally heard about Riverpointe, so I called and talked to Nicole and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. She took the time to really listen, and was very kind, considerate and helpful. I knew immediately that she truly cares about people and wants to do what she can to help. It was the first time in days that I hung up the phone feeling better about my situation. I am so happy to have found this place and relieved to know it has such a great property manager!
These apartments are nice and affordable. They’re kind of small but they’re still nice for the place and area. The application process was easy and I was approved in a few days. It’s pretty quiet and neighbors are pretty friendly. I have never had any issues with management or any other staff. Maintenance is okay most of the time. There was only one issue they did not fix completely. It’s a decent place to live and very close to the highway.
Do not move here ever one moves out with in a year of moving in here. It look horrible out side now gum and cigarettes all over the ground and dog poo in the grass, never step in it if you can. This is not true that it rates a 5, more like a 2 1/2 or 3. i wish we never moved in here. My neighbors are very noisy. and leave the garbage out side of their door for days. I'M SO SAD, It take a lot to move. TO SAD FOR ME. It does not look like the picture any more.
Do not move here. Find a better place that cares about their residents and ensuring the safety of everyone.
I haven't been here for long, so I feel I can't give a full 5 stars review fairly; however, the time I have been here, I have felt very comfortable and at home. Also, Donna the property manager has been super sweet and helpful for the whole process. :-) Good job riverpoint place, kudos :-)
