Property Ratings at The Quarry Alamo Heights
This place has a lot of water main issues and water shutoffs. My downstairs neighbor has had several plumbing issues due to the buildings age and maintenance which have resulted in me not being able to use my second bathroom, dishwasher, an laundry machines several times. There is bad communication from the management team on all of this. There is also no communication when your lease term ends. I've always had apartments let me know before my lease ends.

I have been living here for 3 years and up to now we are very happy with the management of the aparments, the tranquility and security of the place the location is exelent walking distance from restaurants bars, etc so far we are pleased thanks you all.

Management has responded to concerns in a quick manner although when moving in there was bills and fees that were not clear prior to move and added another 65 to rent each month.

It's obviously a great location. Having lived here for over four years, what I especially appreciate, being it's Texas, is the highly efficient air conditioning which keeps my apartment cool on the hottest days. The heating is fine as well. And I've never lived in an apartment so free of pests; of course having a third floor unit is a key reason. Staff is polite, professional and very responsive, as you'd expect from a Greystar property.

The property itself is nice and seems like it’s being taken care of. Majority of the gates work which is also good. We chose to stay here based on location nearby to work as it’s very conviene for us. Maintenance also took care of our work orders within 2 business days upon placing them when first moved in. Neighborhood seems quite so no noticeable noise issues at time of review. I would recommend this place a 7/10 overall!

Look around before settling in this community. Your packages get stolen from your front door, the unit may be dirty from the previous tenants and appliances and unit not what you’re expecting from the tour. I regret not looking at other properties before signing the lease on this one.

I have lived at The Quarry Apartments for 2 1/2 years. During that time, I've seen two or three management groups come and go. All made wonderful promises when they arrived of great service...ALL never delivered. In mid-August, Greystar took over management of The Quarry Apartments. Greystar has achieved more in their first 8 weeks, then the other management firms in the prior 2 1/2 years combined. They inherited a lot of work to do...and they hit the ground running. And they haven't slowed down. While this property has always been very beautiful and attractive from the outside...it now has the superior management it has needed for years.

This apt gave me so many headaches From a washer leak, to having no hot water twice, one of those times being when the winter freeze came, water lines breaking and having no water for days at a time, light switches not functioning correctly, loose electrical outlets, cabinetry breaking or coming loose, hearing scratching between the walls at night (could be a raccoon, possum, or cat…since I’ve seen all three before on the stairway to my apartment) my main door being jammed, mold on the ac vents, really dirty crevices, strong water pressure in the kitchen sink which would cause water to spray everywhere, food disposal wasn’t working for a while. So many issues with this apartment. They have an amenity fee which I don’t know what that might be, since there’s no valet trash pick up, also the gym is not impressive and tiny, pool was “under construction” all of 2022. And when they opened it there was so much cement chunks in the water and the water was extremely muggy. They raised rent yet no major upgrades happened. You can find newer & nice for cheaper. Just like I did. Now I’m in the stone oak area. Management is snotty and rude. I once had the manager come outside and question my residency there when I asked another employee what my mail box number was. She took it upon herself to follow me when I walked out to question me for my name and apt number. This place is a dump and it’s old. Shop around before committing to this apt.
The property is lacking maintenance, my apartment is not even close to the model that was shown. very old kitchen appliances, disgusting kitchen cabinets, all the doors need adjustment o replacement, missing door gaskets. roaches roaming at night. Still waiting for another garage door opener (remote), the ceiling fan at the master is very noisy, etc......
Customer service was a Joke They are not professional
I have been a resident at Quarry Station for nearly a year. The front gate has been broken/inoperable for nearly that entire time. They appear not to care and do not attempt to fix it. Animal waste and excess garbage on the property is a constant issue. Management sends mass text messages to residents in a condescending and scolding tone in an attempt to address and resolve issues on the property. Grass and parking are hard to come by here and residents park in front of garages, blocking others in.

I have been living here since January. The management is unresponsive and makes empty promises. The remodeled properties have several discrepancies and look mediocre at best. Any attempt to contact after hour maintenance goes unanswred. Parking is minimal. I have had an ongoing air conditioning issue that they refuse to address and they act like each time the issue is reported is the first time. Please find a different property.
