Maintenance doesn't respond to emergency calls unless they decide its an emergency. After calling the office at 3 in the afternoon when still open and getting no answer, we called the emergency line and left a voicemail. Just FYI "the water keeps coming up and won't go down" is not considered flooding and therefore doesn't even get a call back after leaving a voicemail on the emergency line. The office personnel blamed it on limited staff due to a holiday (December 22nd). They came to see if the issue was resolved on Jan 19th. Also the AC has to completely go out before being replaced. We had to purchase a portable AC $300 and slept in one room for two summers because they wouldn't replace it until they were given an ugly review on their website. After repeatedly submitting maintenance calls for the same leak we discovered mold which also was not taken care of the first call because supposedly the maintenance guy didn't see all of it. Would be a great place if they cared about their tenants.

My family and I just moved into Towne Oaks a few days ago and it is so peaceful! Compared to where we were living at, from a once quiet neighborhood, turned rowdy and obnoxious, this place is a paradise! Everything is convenient to get to, restaurants, retail stores, walking trails, even a storage nearby. What I love are the private, gated patios and the large spacious floor plans. I am so happy we chose Towne Oaks as our new home. It's clean, quiet, and true comfort living! You really can't beat the price for what it's worth!
Lived here 1 1/2 yrs. and had nothing but problems. Office staff is HORRIBLE. They fake nice until you need help or need to complain and then they're no help whatsoever. I backed up to the running trails, just FEET from the woods and complained about BOTH lights being out in my stairwell for a month causing it to be PITCH dark in my area. So dark that if someone were to be hiding in the woods, I literally wouldn't have seen them coming! They claimed to be "waiting on a distributor" FOR A LIGHTBULB!! After 6 weeks of complaints by me AND my 3 neighbors, I fell, injuring myself and threatened a lawsuit (I'm not lawsuit happy, but this situation was dangerous on so many levels) and suddenly the next day it's fixed. They came into my apartment MULTIPLE times unannounced for reasons that were never explained and complained that my dog was "aggressive" because she barked at STRANGERS in my house! TWICE gave no warning of a "flea spray" until the day of and then threatened my neighbors and I for the fees to have Terminex return because we didn't have our pets out of the apartment. We literally all came home from work to notes on our doors about a flea spray that would KILL our pets if they stayed. When I called the office and told them the noticed was placed after I'd left for work that day, I was told to prove it! Pipes in my floor leaked into my downstairs neighbors apartments THREE times and they blamed the leak on ME, TO MY NEIGHBORS! They literally told my neighbors I was flooding my bathtub. After having my car, purse and house keys stolen, they charged me to have my locks changed and to have the maintenance man come let me in my home at almost 12am! 24 Hr maintenance is not an AMENITY if you've got to pay for it, is it?! The place was infested with bugs my entire stay, the carpet was disgusting, peeling wallpaper was painted over, my light fixture In the kitchen was taped up upon my move in and finally broke loose and smashed me in the head! At one point I came home and noticed a wood piece extending from the vacant balcony below me up to the underside of mine. Upon inspection, it was HOLDING MY BALCONY UP!!!!!! Zero notice, email, text or call to let me know to avoid my balcony. I could go on and on and I have photos of all of this as proof!! MOST of their favorable reviews come in waves, its not a coincidence though, its because they raffle off gifts in exchange for good reviews! Avoid this place at all costs unless your only option is to be homeless.
Repairs are much needed in the apartments and they are very reluctant, if ever, to repair. My floor in my spare bedroom is sagging into the apartment downstairs and they told me several times there was nothing wrong with it. I had to contact DEI, the managing company for them to actually examine it. Then I had to threaten them with legal action for results. I haven't seen them yet, but they say they are in the works. If I had not been in a need to rent, after travel nursing, I would not have rented in this complex. I will not renew my lease and DO NOT recommend this complex to ANYONE!!!!!!!! I only chose a star because it wouldn't allow me to submit without one!

We know it is frustrating having to wait for a repair to be made and for that, we do apologize. We have been working on this issue since it was brought to our attention. Unfortunately, a repair of this magnitude does take time and cooperation between various apartments. Once we were aware, we had to get an approved scope of work, obtain bids, conduct background checks on the contractor as well as other required items. We are now waiting on confirmation from the contractor of the start date. From our understanding, this work will be done soon. As offered before, there is still the option of transferring you to another apartment home if you would prefer. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for sharing your opinion. Very nice, quiet, place to live with friendly neighbors and office staff are wonderful! There's an officer who lives on site for security - but we've never had any problems. We feel safe here. There's monthly birthday cupcakes in the office and seasonal neighborhood activities for everyone! A really great place to live.

I have been here for exactly one year, and I love it! It feels just like home and the staff are great. I love the neighborhood and how close and convienent it is to shopping and dining. I would most def recommend this place.

Overall a good complex. If your having an issue they get it fixed in a timely manner. I think it's a little pricey but then again I'm cheap! They do have breed restrictions on dogs which sucks. Just a few things to keep in mind.
