I’ve thoroughly enjoyed living here so far. The move in has been very easy and smooth. I appreciate Jay and the office staff for being welcoming and warm. The amenities are very nice. My dog and I love the trails and dog park.

Good amenities, location, and peaceful living experience overall. Management was previously awful, but there has been a big turnover in staff in the past few months and since then management of the property has been much better. However, there are several inconvenient things that come with living here still. It is quite annoying to be required to pay for valet trash and fetch despite personally having no use for either service and to have to register vehicles and guest’s cars every time they visit in fear of getting towed. I don’t know any other complex that has this towing policy and it is incredibly inconvenient and predatory, as even I as a resident had my vehicle towed at one point.

Awful property management here and I've lived at some questionable complexes before. Move here if you want poor staff response to issues regarding maintenance problems, your vehicle being improperly towed and overall negligence to reoccurring problems.

The community itself is wonderful, made up mostly of single professionals. Unfortunately, the company’s approach to maintenance is the real problem. Rather than resolving issues correctly the first time, they drag tenants through a drawn-out process that often requires three separate complaints just to fix something simple—like a broken microwave handle. In practice, this means submitting a request week after week for nearly a month before the repair is finally done right. The company’s inefficiency leaves tenants feeling as if they’ve taken on a second job just to get basic repairs completed.

This is the best apartment community I’ve ever lived in. Community activities and engagement is excellent. The community is maintained exceptionally and management is top notch.
It's, for the most part, clean and quiet. At times, it can get loud, and or dirty. I like living here~ It's definitely nicer than some other places I've been.

We love the grounds, the activities, and the amenities. The maintenance guy who is over our building is awesome, Chris. We have a great relationship with him, but if he's not here, our maintenance requests do not get resolved. For example, we are on day 6 without a dryer. I work in hospitality, and I understand that sometimes you're short-staffed or can't get to a request immediately. However, as a leasing office and organization as a whole, it's your responsibility to make sure your tenants have access to the things that they pay for. We chose this apartment partly due to the fact that it had a washer and dryer. Whenever I spoke to the front desk about this, they were very condescending and basically told me that my request isn't urgent, so they'll get to it whenever. We did not get a date for our dryer to be fixed until my husband called on day 6 of no dryer.

It's been a pleasure to live here the past few years. The community is wonderful, everyone is super friendly, and it's truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend taking advantage of the amenities, as they are quite nice.

It a big community, friendly neighbors. Quick service. I like the swimming pool here, Gym is good. I like playing pickleball here. A nice community to walk around. No complains.

Overall good living experience with being in a good area. Close to highways but also not too close where noise is a major factor. Maintenance is really quick to emergencies to be fixed, such as fire alarms going off after a thunderstorm.

The Preserve at Travis Creek is a great place to live. Amenities are rich and kept up, management communicates positively and often, the community offers a lot of activities for its residents to choose from, the units themselves are very nice and well-maintained, and maintenance hits the nail on the head if you need work done to your unit. Plus, the community is situated far enough away from downtown, SoCo, South Lamar and Barton Springs areas for peace and quiet, but not too far away to travel to those locations quickly. I highly recommend The Preserve if you’re looking for a place to live in Austin!

I would strongly discourage anyone from renting an apartment at Preserve at Travis Oaks. I would never want my son or daughter to live in a place without access to maintenance in an emergency.

I have been a resident for about 20 months now, and I love the community. The location, amenities, and my apartment are all great. The atmosphere is cozy, and the social activities are enjoyable. I especially appreciate the pools, gym, and clubhouse. The staff has become like friends, and they are always very cordial. I am looking to move into a larger unit soon.

Great community! I love how safe I feel living there and how close I am to town and natural surroundings! I love the pet friendly vibe and that they help you quick with any service requests you have. Very proactive team from Maintenance to front desk!

Been living here for almost 2 years and have guests over frequently because I’m a social person. Still bizarre to me we can only have overnight guests a max of 2 nights per week otherwise they get towed. Have definitely turned down guests/ family when they come to visits for a whole week but have to do something about their car.

I don't have many negative other than this is an old complex and has been "remodeled" but you can tell it was done cheaply. I do hate that they make you pay for Fetch, a packaging system, because you don't use it unless you actually sign up for it and it's honestly just another thing to keep up with. The office staff are nice and the amenities are wonderful too. The have community events pretty often, which are also fun!

I grabbed a dish towel from my counter top and was surprised by a very sharp razor blade left behind from the jerry-rigged, sink-fix that was completed by maintenance as opposed to "a vendor" which the maintenance guy who surveyed the damage recommended and called for approval.

Living here has been a good experience. I enjoy the area and community amenities. It’s very often hard to get in contact when calling the office. It’s happened where I can call many many times (8x) and go no response, or even throughout the day. They’ve also towed my car for their concrete driveway repair, which I didn’t get a text for and I was out of town the weekend right before it happened, so that sucked. Other than that, I like my apt.

Lot of forms to e-sign, mostly reasonable, except: Not suppose to store any boxes, non-auto in detached garage. No visitor parking, they may get towed. Suppose to report tailgaters. Cannot opt out of $35 monthly trash pickup at door.

To clarify: detached garages are for vehicle storage only, per lease policy to avoid unnecessary damage to personal items. Visitor parking is allowed, but guests must be registered with A&A Wrecker between 12 AM and 6 AM to avoid towing. Reporting tailgaters helps us maintain a secure community. the apartment has decent amenities and good service overall, but the experience was ruined by random and frustrating towing incidents during road work and charged a hefty $250 and threatened to send eviction notices if not paid

A nice and clean environment with plenty of amenities to enjoy the community. We moved efficiently and the personnel was very attentive and communicative when we had problems with our keys and with the internet.

Nice complex but the accounting for rent, fees and utilities is a mess each month. Fees are often duplicated. Utilities are posted late every month but they don’t allow extra time to pay. Need a reasonable few days to pay once posted. The maintenance guy is very nice but completely overwhelmed so maintenance requests usually take 5-6 weeks. It is a nice property.
