Living here is so peaceful and we love living in the midst of such beautiful nature. We think each season has a beauty of its own. People are so friendly and thoughtful too.

A safe and fun complex that feels more like a neighborhood than apartments. The staff are incredibly helpful and the amenities are top notch. We love living here!

Maintenance and management are great. Really went out of their way for problem which helped significantly though it'll need a tweak when weather is warm consistently as I still have to use duct tape.

Overall, the Preserve is a great place to live with friendly neighbors and nice amenities. HOWEVER, the communication from management/staff is poor- where phone calls and emails often go unanswered. On the flip side, the maintenance team is AMAZING!

Great community! Maintainance is fast and well done. Beautiful grounds with ponds, wild critters, walking trails. Pool and clubhouse are wonderful. Friendly neighbors!

The office staff is always friendly, professional and efficient and effective. Maintenance services are great. Amenities are wonderful. Location is perfect.

Neighbors are for the most part helpful and kind. I will say the marinade men are very, very prompt, courteous, friendly, helpful in getting their jobs done here, both inside the apartments, as well as maintaining the outside. Snow removal is contracted outside. Quick in removing snow, but use way to much rock salt. I love that I am close to grocery stores, restaurants, and many small businesses.

I feel we have a good group of tenants in my area. I would like to see a gazebo on the lawn area behind the Pig. I also enjoy the many paths for walking in the area.

I love the preserve! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It is super dog friendly and has plenty of trails and paths for the furry friends.

Very nice location! We love that they have a little playground and a pool for the summer months. Love the coffee in the clubhouse as well. Some of the apartments are a bit dated inside and could use some updating but overall a good value for your money since the cost of renting has really gone up.

This community is a great one to live in. The office staff is always timely with things, and maintenance responds promptly to requests. Also very safe.

The Preserve staff is the best! Maintenance is always prompt and does a great job, every time! The property is beautifully maintained and all the wildlife is so delightful to see. We love life here!

It's a great place to live. I enjoy the pool in the summer. I like that the complex is dog friendly. It's a quiet residential area. I would recommend living here.

Good place to stay, quiet for the most part, as long as you don't mind the garbage truck noise at 6am. Everyone I have experienced both administratively and tennant wise has been great.

We have loved living here :) I appreciate how quickly any tickets are resolved. The staff is friendly and listens when you need to ask questions.

No issues, just extended my least 18 more months. Good environment. Very quiet, almost too quiet. Has all the amenities you could need. Places close by for groceries.

I would not recommend this community to anyone! The neighbors are less than welcoming and certainly not dog friendly. I feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in my own home. I feel like I have to keep my dog and young child completely silent or I’ll have the neighbors complaining to the office. If I was financially able to break my lease and move elsewhere, I would. Do NOT rent here if you have pets or children!

Everything went very smoothly! Everything was good with no delays. The apartment was in great condition upon moving in with very little things to be requested for repair and was done very quickly!

We’ve been at the Preserve for over a year and love it! The trails are beautiful, the closeness to everything is ideal with small children and the community is wonderful!

Great neighborhood. Clean, quiet, super pet friendly, great maintenance. The grounds have a natural country feel, but close to shopping and the interstate.

Absolutely LOVE living at Prairie Creek. Very peaceful, incredibly safe neighborhood, surrounded by dog walking trails, amazing pool and fitness center. Seems like a great place to raise a family as well. Highly recommend.

The staff here is very welcoming and helpful through the whole move-in process and in general! The space is very roomy and overlooks a nature preserve which is super nice! Overall great place to live!

No complaints! Great quiet place to live. Close to the city to locate grocery stores and needs. Has a pool and walking paths. Will 100% be extending my lease.

Musty smell will not go away due to garages below unit, have used candles damp rid and essential oils to no avail , otherwise quiet and ample space.

I enjoy the neighborly friends I have made living here. It’s like being at home with family. Most apartments are updated with new appliances and flooring. Well maintained grounds and maintenaced.

I truly enjoy living at Prairie Creek! The amenities offered are amazing! I enjoy using the pool and the gym! My dog enjoys the big yard with plenty of space to enjoy herself!

The Preserve is amazing! Everyone is so accommodating and quick to respond. And it’s pet friendly! For a pet friendly complex, it is quiet and clean. Definitely recommend! :)

Tomorrow will mark one week!!! Communication through the office is pretty good!!! Met our downstairs neighbors, they seem really nice!!! The community is large!!! Its nice to have access to a free fitness center and pool!!! Theres also a living room area with the a fireplace for the residents along with a coffee bar!!! Huge BONUS!!! Haven't had any issues!!!

So far so good! The front desk were really nice and made moving in really simple and great! They even gave a little gift basket and told me to let them know if I had any concerns or questions.

We have recently move here and so far everything has been great! The team at the front desk was easy to work with and helpful throughout the entire process. everyone we have met has been cheerful and welcoming. Excited to see the Property once everything is in bloom.

We just moved here about a week ago. Beautiful community and a variety of walking trails nearby. Noise level is incredibly low and absolutely LOVE hearing the crickets/frogs/birds throughout the day. Very peaceful place to live. Safe community. Walking distance to Piggly Wiggly grocery store and other local businesses, which is convenient. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. We can honestly say we are very happy here:)

I've been residing in this apartment for a while now, and overall, it's been a pleasant experience. One of the standout features is its fantastic location – situated in a bustling area with easy access to amenities and public transportation. One of the highlights for me is the walking path located just behind the apartment building. It's a great spot for leisurely strolls and enjoying some fresh air, adding a nice touch to the residential experience. However, while the apartment is comfortable, I do wish they would invest more in updates and renovations. Some aspects feel a bit outdated and could benefit from modernization. Overall, it's a decent place to live, but with a little more attention to updating certain features, it could truly shine.

We just moved in and had to have maintenance fix an issue. It was solved within the hour! So far, I love living here! Everyone I have met has been lovely.

Love it in the summer when the pool is always clean. Nice area to walk your dog. Nice dog community. Nice neighborhood and it seems like they are trying to do some updating to the buildings.

We have only been here for two days so far but we are so in love with everything about our apartment. we have issues with our refrigerator not working but they are working on fixing that for us and we are beyond pleased.

The office and maintenance staff are outstanding! Quick replies, takes excellent care of the property and always smiling! We love living here and looking forward to watching the snow fall and not having to shovel:-)

Great management, awesome price point, safe neighborhood, and good location. Right next to a grocery store and gas station. Management takes complaints seriously. Maintenance responds promptly. Walls are fairly thin- so keep in mind if you have young children or a dog. Overall, I loved my time living here! Highly recommend.

The property is clean and taken care of. With that said. We lived in 2 units, upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 3 bedroom Phase 2. Had dogs in both units. Paid the pet deposits, and rent in advance every month. We are very particular about cleanliness, running a Roomba daily and shampooing carpets quarterly. We left our units cleaner than we received them (2nd unit had a pile of dirt swept in the middle of the kitchen for us when we moved in. After shampooing the carpet before we moved out and turned in out keys, they brought in a contractor with a black light and claimed we had excessive urine in the apartment. They claimed rooms the dogs were never allowed in had urine stains everywhere! They said the unit had urine stench. What? They showed our unit as we were moving out, even serviced the unit when needed, never an issue. They said they took a black light to the carpet and determined it needed a urine treatment. The carpets are 7 years old, these are units that allow dogs. Carpet was never cleaned or replaced before we moved in, but now they want us to pay for urine from previous owners (our dogs were not allowed in bedrooms). Renter beware. They nickle and dime, rates have gone up as well.

Trust me. Find another place. Years ago, they cared about residents. I live on the “poor” side and have seen a major change since the new “rich” side came along.

They lack very basic management skills (staff is young and/or new), they charge way too much for rent and raise your rent yearly. High turnover and lots of vacancies will also prove this point.

The units here are very nice! Many floorplans to choose from and you can bring your dog/cat! This is an extremely dog friendly place with beautiful walking paths and open grass area to exercise your pet. The common areas are always kept very clean, the leasing staff and Manager Terry are great to work with. Very friendly and will get back to you in a timely manner with any questions or concerns you may have. Pool is great and the clubhouse is available to reserve for parties. Patio area is nice too with the gas fire pit and grill to enjoy. You cant go wrong here ;) We love it....

The buildings are new at the Preserve and well maintained. Super great location right off the freeway in Oconomowoc. However, the preserve lost an amazingly nice agent recently and has gone WAY downhill in management with a new leasing agent that is VERY rude and condescending. She does not have the best interest of the tenant at hand at all. She actually comes across as very much on a "power trip" and is only doing her job to prove she has power over an apartment complex. Not a genuine, nice person at all. Do not let her fool you and be very careful before signing a lease because she will market the place as "dog friendly" and a great place to live where people are treated great, but the facts are very different. Save yourself major headaches and stress and please be careful before you sign a lease with the Preserve and make sure you have ALL information given to you and that you ask MANY questions....including dog policies, parking in snow, etc. This place is not what it used to be when it opened and what it seems to be from an outsider perspective! Definitely proceed cautiously!!!

I found this apartment through this website and was immediately hooked! This is an amazing building located in beautiful Oconomowoc: we back up to a preserved prairie, which allows the area to retain a natural and untouched energy. The surrounding area is also incredible. The management team has never let me down and is prompt, professional, and positive in all that they do. Trust me when I say you cannot go wrong choosing this complex as your next home.
