Property Ratings at The Prairies Apartment Homes
These have got to be some of the worst apartments in Indianapolis. Nothing works and maintenance is horrible. They are going through management changes right now but I doubt that will change anything. For the amount of money you have to pay to live here you’d think things would be better. Oh did I mention the roach infestation. Be prepared to bomb spray and fight for your territory.
Living here has been one of the worst experiences. The property is not maintained and full of insects, while the online images do not match reality. There are no nearby stores, and the rent is far too high for what you get. The office staff is unhelpful and rude, and the complex is not ADA compliant. Neighbors are loud and inconsiderate, and overall upkeep is terrible. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere — this place is absolutely not worth the price.
This apartment complex is completely uninhabitable. The location is terrible — you absolutely need a car just to survive here. There are no stores, restaurants, or basic amenities within walking distance. The only things nearby are two gas stations, and the nearest grocery store is about 8 miles away. For the price they charge in rent, the quality of living is shockingly low. The management markets this place as “convenient” and “modern,” but in reality, it’s overpriced housing in the middle of nowhere. If you’re looking for a livable community with access to essentials, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere

This apartment complex is poorly managed and poorly maintained. Repairs take weeks or are ignored, and when done, they’re low quality. Common areas are dirty, landscaping is neglected, and sidewalks are cracked and unsafe. The units are small for the high rent, and prices keep rising with no improvements. The property is not ADA accessible, making it difficult for residents with mobility needs. Walls and floors are thin, so noise travels easily. Carpet in the living room is only available in second-floor units, limiting choices. Some neighbors are loud and rude, and management does nothing to address complaints. The combination of high costs, bad maintenance, unsafe walkways, poor accessibility, and inconsiderate neighbors makes this place far from worth the price.

Only 1 month into my lease and three major issues. 1. Crickets and insects all over the place 2. Maintance is the worst and something broke in my bathroom and the main office said there is a gas leak and it will be fixed when that gets done. 3. Didn't get a spare key to my front door and in a month no mailbox key. B.S. on having to go to the post office to get the mailbox key. Bad place, don't move here.
My only complaint is if they knew that the fitness center and pool was damage you should advertise like you will be able to enjoy it I believe all the rent that I am paying I should be able to enjoy something besides just Apartment. I work from home I do not drive Been having problems logging in to pay my rent try to explain it to one or two of the property managers it seems like it goes in one ear and out the other. Other than that it’s OK.
Moved in about a month ago, trash and dead leaves surrounding my patio area and front porch area, spider infestation, staff is rude and unprofessional as could be. The amenities suck, no garbage disposal, the kitchen sink rusts very fast, shower needs snake. I am already looking for a new place. Do Not Move here. Pretty sure you can get better service and bang for your buck elsewhere this place is not worth the Rent I am paying.
Horrible experience!!! Every manager is so unprofessional and extra rude. Most of them are loud and unaccommodating. Work orders never fixed right always have to return to fix the problem that they fixed the last time. Office staff leaves the property and be gone for hours with a sign that says out on property. Everyone is so helpful until you sign the lease. They change parking stickers every two months which is very inconvenient to people that have busy lives. To try to catch the staff in the office is a rat race. Don't move here you will regret it... I will be moving soon... Can't wait til lease is up..
Good service I love living at Pangea prairies good place to call home I love the staff very family like and very friendly I had a problem and stopped in the office and Ms. Davetta helped me right away and told me everything would be just fine thank you it all worked out ????
I absolutely love my apartment Ms.Saundra has been very heplful I will refer anyone to this community.....
