I have been here for over 3 years now. Initially, The Pointe at New Town was a well needed fresh start, at some point (pun intended) most people find themselves for various reasons in need of a change. Since I moved here, I found a community of people who have been friendly, helpful, and professional. All the staff, from office personnel, The maintenance staff, and even the various mail delivery drivers to be very awesome. Whenever I’ve had need of their services, the maintenance staff were very quick and effective in fixing the problem and the grounds are well well-maintained as is the overall property units. There’s plenty of parking and space to walk around, ride a bike, walk your dog and it’s just overall located in a very convenient part of town. U can walk just one block over and have access to many of the towns, dining options, as well as professional businesses like banks, health, tech. and clean place to live whether you’re by yourself or raising a family
The Pointe at New Town is a beautiful community within walking distance of grocery, shopping, and dinning. Highly recommend W&M students and employees to rent here.

I’ve lived at THE POINT since around 2013. When I first moved in it was considered a ‘Luxury’ Complex. However, I have witnessed It go down significantly compared to others in our immediate are. Landscape contracts are inconsistent, no contracts in place for snow removal, no up keep of the building. Parts missing from roofs, holes up in the top of the roof opening into the attic, fences broke down all over the complex and not fixed or removed,front doors not painted yearly as in the beginning when Courtney was here, units and windows not washed down annually as when Courtney was here. Continual personnel change in Admn. is also an issue. We rarely see them or even know who they are. Not visible out in the complex. Used to be like a family. I miss that. On a more positive note, our Maintenance Managers are very competent, friendly, helpful, kind, personable and Know their Job. They’ve been nearly as long as I have. They are very valuable to the successful running of this complex.

The houses, maintenance team, and staff are all wonderful. The only thing I don't like is the surplus of dogs everywhere. They bark through walls and sometimes owners don't pick up after them.

Beautiful community! No issues since moving here about 4 months ago. It's very quiet and calm. The gym is small but has all the equipment I need. The staff is wonderful, neighbors are kind, and the location is perfect. I love walking to Paul's for cannolis in the evening.

The rent is expensive and goes up every year..but the community is quiet and safe and the maintenance team is quick and excellent. I only wish that it was more affordable to live here, or that there were apartment upgrades that come with the rising costs.

This is a truly wonderful place to live. Taking our kids on walks through the paved streets in front of the townhouse is so fun, the trail nearby that goes through the woods is lovely and any service request are quickly fulfilled!

The staff were communicative and responded quickly when I was first considering the complex! The buildings are a bit older and you can somewhat hear your next door neighbors but it’s nothing to write home about. Overall this is a really safe and quiet neighborhood!

Overall, this is a great place to live. The apartment is high quality, and the location is excellent, with a Trader Joe's nearby. However, the walls are not very soundproof, so I can still hear my neighbor's loud music.

It was a bit challenging to get my place lined up remotely before moving to the area. They ran my credit report (hard, not soft inquiries) on all 3 credit services several times, which is annoying because each run dings my credit score a bit. Still, the location, amenities, and pricing look to make the place a nice value.

We've been here 3 months, yet, it seems longer, in a great way! Everyone, from the leasing office staff to maintenance, are awesome! If you need a repair, or just have a question, the results are quickly achieved! The noise level is almost nonexistent. So glad we moved here!

I’ve been living here for 4 months, and overall, my experience has been quite positive. The location is fantastic—close to the New Town area, which makes commuting and running errands very convenient. For example, the apartment offers gym and pool, which I’ve found very useful. The gym is well-maintained, and the pool area is a great spot to relax. Additionally, the maintenance requests I’ve had were addressed quickly and efficiently. The staff is friendly and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Moreover, the apartment building feels very secure, and I haven’t experienced any noise issues from neighbors, which has been a relief.

I do love living here. The location is the best feature. There are some things that I wish I had and that is a coat closet and it would be nice if there was a 3rd bedroom option. My dogs would love a yard but that’s another location but as far as what The Pointe at Newtown offers I don’t have many complaints and have great neighbors.

Friendly, quiet neighbors in a suburban area close to shops, parks, trails, and activities. There is always something to do but it’s easy to just relax at home as well. The amenities are nice and the community and buildings are well cared for.

I love living here for many reasons. The staff are so professional, prompt and helpful. They always respond to telephone calls. The community is so clean and the maintenance is top. The management organize events to meet and greet neighbors. I love the closeness to everything, including Gyms, restaurants and cinema, grocery shopping, pharmacies, and many more. The Point at NewTown brought me one of my best neighborhood experiences.
