Located about five miles west of the University of South Florida, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, and University Mall, the charming Carrollwood neighborhood is convenient to everything Tampa has to offer, but slightly removed to be a peaceful escape at the end of the day. A portion of Lake Carroll extends into the neighborhood on its west side, providing beautiful views for those selecting rentals near the lake. Dale Mabry Highway, which forms the neighborhood's western border, provides ample shops and restaurants for residents.
Carrollwood is convenient for commuters, situated about nine miles northwest of downtown Tampa and less than 10 miles northeast of Tampa International Airport. It was horrible office and trying to get anything fixed was....well had to call the health department 2x. They are horrible and depending on which building you live in is more than a nightmare. I wouldn't waste time or money on this place. Usually sells off in a couple years....if they can find another company to take it off their hands. I previously lived there from 2015 to 2021

The newly renovated pool and fitness center are truly a wonderful enhancement to our beautiful community. We are positive should you ever want to call us "home" again, you would enjoy the community and customer service you would receive!
I don’t normally write bad reviews, something has to be truly awful to do so, but I have been waiting three months for the refund of my security deposit and still haven’t received it, just excuses and I’m done. I had a horrible experience renting here - to the point I broke my lease after two months and bought a house early. The apartment smelled from day one and never went away. Not sure if it was something from the neighboring apartment that was seeping in or if it was just in the walls. The neighbors were SO loud: upstairs neighbor stomped so loud the light fixtures on the ceiling rattled (this is my 3rd 1st floor Apt and never had this issue); the neighbors I backed up to had a big dog that barked every other second for hours on end when his owners were not home and finally my side neighbor would blast his music with lots of bass for hours on end. My heat also never worked and was told they would replace the inside hvac, but never did. Also everything in the apartment was in bad shape - the floors, the cabinets/countertop and everything in the bathroom (the appliances were old, but worked well, so I didn’t mind). Perhaps I just had rotten luck and other apartments there are nicer, but I would not recommend. Esp since I feel now the management company is dishonest now.
Enter at your own risk, there are no services, management does not respond to complaints, there is no maintenance. There are better options at even lower prices.

I was in a real pinch of a situation, returned from abroad had to lay a family member to rest and had to quarantine when returned. I reached out to this complex with specifics in what I was seeking. I had a feeling that the individual wasn't paying attention to my needs to move yet they invited me to look at a unit. I advised that I need a unit that is "READY" not "available" I was assured that once I paid my admin fee and app fee that it would take a matter of hours, submitted the app, paystubs, all of the vital paperwork within the hour of receiving the email to process the app. Before I submitted payment I called once again to make sure we were on the same page, I was assured that I would be able to pick up the keys before 5pm. Made the payment online and then the attitude of the agent changed as if I was annoying them. I was then emailed back that my app was denied for financial reasons but I won't be obtaining none of my money back. I make 45k+ a yr and have been with my employer for years so whatever the case maybe I am glad it didn't work out. OH, and the unit that supposedly I am no good for had rust in the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, spider in the bathtub, roaches in the bedroom closet and some of the doors were pained over so many times they don't open nor close smoothly. I did request them to address these issue prior to me moving in, I guess that's why I denied for financial issues. Either way this was an experience.
Love The Staff?? Quick to get things done! Really happy and outgoing staff!!! They love helping people, and making the residence look beautiful!! ??
From signing the lease and moving and settling in me and my son feel right at home. We been here for three and half months. And a few times that we call maintenance Management was right on it. It's really family oriented I'm happy to have picked out The place at Carrollwood .
I have been a resident at The Place at Carrollwood for two years and I have no complaints! The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The maintenance team gets the job done in a timely manner. I recommend this apartment complex to anyone wanting to live in the Carrollwood area.
I love this place I been living here for 2 years and love it, great staff and lovely community
