Property Ratings at The Point at Lakeside
I do not recommend living in AMLI properties. Recently the elevator of my building was out of service and it took the management office 14 days to fix it. During those 14 days there were unapologetic and basically said it wasn’t their fault the elevator broke down. I have 2 knee replacement surgeries and I find it difficult to use the stairs specially carrying groceries or heavy items. AMLI offered me zero accommodations during this time and when I asked for an adjustment in my bill due to the shortage of services provided and the duration of this situation, they refused saying the elevator is a common space and an amenity and that AMLI is in no obligation to provide the amenities because they are not listed in the lease. So, if anything breaks, say the pool, the gym, the playground etc. you as a tenant have zero voice to complain and you are expected to continue to pay your full rent regardless of the state of the property and they can easily refuse to fix things because amenities are not in the lease. So, please, do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.
so our tour time was 11.15 am ....andbthey were 30 min late so we left complitly unhappy. they do call us but firts impresion was terible .
One of the worst experiences we've ever had in a rental community. We lived at Amli for 7 months. However, after the first week we wanted to move. Our bicycles were stolen from the locked bicycle racks on the second day we moved in. Throughout our stay there were multiple instances of cars being broken in to or damaged. The office personnel was extremely rude and unprofessional, often times very hard to get in touch with. All the "amenities" are only open during business hours so good luck using any of them if you have a normal job during the day. After so much drama we ended up moving out 6 weeks ahead of our lease. "Don't worry" they said, "Your apartment will rent quickly" Nope. Still paid 6 weeks of rent and cleaning fees/extra insurance charges after we had moved out. If I could give 0 stars I would. I cannot recommend highly enough that you do not move to this community. The actual apartment is quite nice and could have been a wonderful experience however, we were constantly let down and with multiple issues we couldn't get out soon enough. Upon moving out we were charged miscellaneous fees
I’m having a serious hard time believing that the positive comments on here are from real residents. The service and amenities are not worth the high price point. I have lived at AMLI Doral for almost two years and have decided to terminate my lease early. I have experienced a plethora of issues which have not only affected myself but all residents. Poor customer service: The management teams shows very little interest in filed service requests and concerns. They have a problem accepting responsibility and result to compulsive lying in order to get residents off their back. Security issues: cars broken into (which was eventually addressed after about a dozen cars were broken into and/or left on bricks), faulty front gate system (addressed but still not functioning properly). Broken elevator for almost an entire month. The elevator broke at the beginning of the month and has been promised to be fixed on four different occasions. Management sent emails confirming repair on four different email each time promising a different day. To this day the elevator is still not fixed. Hotel or home? Certain units at this AMLI location are used as a hotel for tourists. These tourists treat the buildings and amenities poorly. It is difficult for the AMLI to feel like a home when tourists are constantly coming in and out of the elevators with luggage, acting obnoxiously, and treating the place like a hotel. Please consider when deciding to rent at this particular AMLI location.
This is hands down the best location in Doral. It is right off the main highways, 5 minutes from The Dolphin Mall, walking distance to entertainment and great restaurants. I absolutely love it here. We have a jogging trail that we have exclusive access to that leads to great parks, including Tails and Trails parks for our pets. Very happy here.
This apartment complex is located in a great area, the units have very comfortable layouts and all the upgrades of a luxury apartment. Service is good and all the common areas are well maintain. The only negative point is that the community is not fully gated so any person can just walk into the building or pool facilities. Is not a surprise that having the easy access to the turnpike, once in a while we hear about robberies in some apartments.
I drive in front of it every morning and I think from all the nice places you can live in Doral, nothing beats AMLI at Doral. Hands down most elegant place to live in doral
